Chapter 229: 229 Familiar Face.

Luo Lixi started to walk in a random place. She didn't give any damn to the sound of whoever was calling her and in anger, she went to a random area.
After walking for like thirty minutes, she finally stopped. What lay before her was a barely flowing river.
"Umm, this place…" Luo Lixi frowned as she glanced around. Then she turned towards the way she had come from. "I will return after a while."
She murmured and turned around. Then she went up to the river. As she glanced around, her eyes caught some little fishes swimming in it.
"Ah, the air is so fresh…" Luo Lixi took a deep breath and went up to the river. She crouched down and touched the water with her hand.
When her reflection was shown, her lips twisted. She touched her upper neck and chuckled angrily.
"That damn man… he didn't even tell me about it." She covered her face and thought in shame, 'Have other people seen this?... might have! Ahh!' Luo Lixi's fingertips touched the water.
A little sigh escaped her lips as she stood up. Then she began to walk by the edge of the narrow river. While she was strolling slowly, her mind thought of various matters.
Then she heard vague sounds of two people talking. Luo Lixi stopped and stared at the two women who were staring at the river and talking among themselves.
"Baishi, come here. Look! These fishes are so beautiful. I'll take them and put them in my aquarium. It will look wonderful with my babies. What do you think?!" Wei Airan tried to suppress her excitement but it got leaked by her face. She tried to maintain her ladylike demeanor but her excited voice betrayed her.
Chen Baishi nodded. She also turned her face to the river. Her face was stoic, there wasn't any pleasant expression on her face.
Luo Lixi stopped in her place and listened to their chattering. 'I shouldn't disturb them.' As she thought, Luo Lixi again regained walking. When the other two women saw her, they stopped talking.
Luo Lixi nodded at them and passed by. Wei Airan, however, was a little flustered when she saw her side face. Then she tried to see her face clearly but Luo Lixi had already gone ahead of them.
"Baishi, don't you think she's familiar?" Wei Airan whispered.
"I don't know her." Then as if she thought of something and turned to face Wei Airan, "Can she be an actress?"
The latter shook her head and saw Luo Lixi's retreating figure. "Nevermind. After all, it's not a big deal." Wei Airan shrugged her shoulder and then turned towards the river.
"I will tell the staff to give me these fishes."
Chen Baishi didn't make any noise and moved ahead. She blinked her eyes and examined the blue fishes. She thought deeply and intended to say something but decided against it otherwise.
'These don't seem to be normal. They might be placed here by the resort…' Her lips crooked as she glanced at Wei Airan.
After ten minutes, they intended to leave but then they saw Luo Lixi was running towards their way.
Wei Airan stopped in her tracks. This time she saw Luo Lixi's face and thought in mind, 'I am sure that she is the girl I saw in the magazine. Her name must be Luo something…'
Luo Lixi brushed past them and went towards the way she came earlier. After some time, she glanced around and covered her face in embarrassment, "I have lost the way. What to do?"
She mumbled and glanced back.
After several minutes, Luo Lixi reached Chen Baishi and tried to catch her breath. As she took a long breath, her eyes turned to Chen Baishi and asked worriedly.
"Excuse me. Are you perhaps from the resort as well?"
The other two glanced at each other and nodded as well.
After watching them nodding, it's as if Luo Lixi found her soul back. She blushed and murmured, "I forgot the way back. Can I stay with you two for now? I won't disturb you even for a second."
Wei Airan smiled and said, "Of course you can. It's just that we will roam and travel around this area a little more. Is it okay for you?" Then she shook the camera she was holding, "I just want to take some pictures."
Luo Lixi nodded her head heavily. "Of course. I will follow you wherever you go. Just that I forgot to bring my phone with me or else I would have called someone."
"Alright, let's go then."
So, the three women left the area and went to another place. Luo Lixi slowly followed them while Chen Baishi and Wei Airan went ahead to take pictures of different beings.
Luo Lixi glanced back and began to worry. 'He will go mad if he thinks I am lost in the forest. But then, I don't remember his number as well…" Her whole face turned serious as she glanced at the other two women.
To attract their attention, she coughed loudly. So Wei Airan turned towards her. She asked right away, "Madam, do you perhaps have the number of the resort? My family will be worried for me. So…"
After hearing her, Wei Airan shook her head. Luo Lixi was dejected by her response. But then Wei Airan patted her on the shoulder and assured her, "Don't worry. We will soon go back. Their worries will go away as soon as they will see you."
Luo Lixi hummed after a while. Wei Airan took back her hand and glanced ahead. But none could have imagined that their small roaming would turn out to be a three-hour-long trip…
