After Sheng Ruming had exited the room, he took large steps in haste. Soon, he left the resort. When he had walked out from the main entrance of it, his legs stopped abruptly. His eyes stared at the scene before him in bewilderment.
"Aunty, I am nearly 25 years old. How can I be a teenager?" Luo Lixi chuckled.
Beside her, Wei Airan shook her head and retorted, "You really look like a teenager at first sight. You should tell Aunty about the secret you are using for your skin to glow. It's so beautiful and charming that I want to rub your skin all day long!"
Chen Baishi touched Luo Lixi's face and muttered, "It's really as soft as a newborn baby. Miss Luo, you are sure lucky."
Luo Lixi couldn't stop the smile from blooming on her face. She cupped her face and rubbed it.
"I really don't know. Just that I use whatever is placed in the washroom." Then her face turned serious as she turned around, "How about it? After I return, I will check and then notify Aunty?"
"You should! I will wait for your call then." Wei Airan leaned forward and whispered. When Luo Lixi's sweet scent assaulted her nose, her lips tugged into a knowing smirk.
When the lady in question witnessed this, she could only blush.
Currently, they were walking towards the resort's entrance. The three of them had forgotten about the track of time long ahead. Even Luo Lixi wasn't excluded.
Her steps were slow while her legs matched the steps of the other two. When Luo Lixi lifted her head, her smile distorted as Sheng Ruming's cold face entered her vision.
'Ah! Ah! I clearly forgot!' Luo Lixi gripped the wildflowers she had plucked on the way she had come. She stopped abruptly and turned towards the other two ladies.
"Aunty Wei, Aunty Chen, my fiance is here now. I shall take my leave." Luo Lixi's face was apologetic. As she nodded her head, the other two did as well.
"Let's meet later…" Her sound trailed off in the end when she turned towards the area where Luo Lixi was looking at. 'Are my eyes playing tricks now?!'
Luo Lixi hurriedly jogged up to Sheng Ruming. She was both anxious and panicked. "Ruming, sorry."
Her hands stuffed the wildflowers in Sheng Ruming's hands. She wrapped her hands around his neck and dragged his face down. Afterwards, her sweet pink lips left two kisses on his both cheeks.
"I am sorry honey. I was lost… you won't be mad at me, will you?" Luo Lixi rubbed her right side cheek and asked cheekily.
Sheng Ruming however, rubbed her head gently and whispered, "I won't." Then he smiled wryly and looked up to his mother.
Wei Airan stared sharply at the man who had a similar face and name like his son. As she was getting nearer, her eyes began to twist.
"Such a loving couple. It makes one's heart happy." Chen Baishi muttered as her eyes saw the heated interaction between the couple
But she didn't know, in her friend's brain, thunders were striking her mind while her eyes were showing disbelief and a hint of joy?!
'This brat! Why hiding something from your mother?! Hehe! Just look at his face!' Wei Airan smirked. Her eyes looking at Luo Lixi changed drastically. It went from the initial politeness to adoring.
Sheng Ruming's eyes shook when he saw his mother's reaction wasn't quite right. 'Why is she staring at my woman as if she is glancing at her favourite dish?!'
"Ruming, why are you dozing off?! Hey, let's return to our room." Luo Lixi tugged at his hand.
When Wei Airan heard her, she spoke out in a low tone, "Earlier, didn't she mention she is going to her fiance?"
"Yes. If I remember correctly." Chen Baishi agreed right away. "Let's not interrupt them. We should go by the right side."
Wei Airan's smile only deepened by her suggestion. She fluttered the fan she was holding and fanned herself.
"How can we?! It will be a lack of manners from our side if we do this."
