The scent of herbs assaulted her nose and made her somewhat dizzy. She tried to keep open her eyes but as time went by she had the urge to sleep a little bit.
"Oh, I think I am tired. I guess I can only take a nap." The lady tried to reason with herself. She stripped her sweaty clothes and changed into comfortable bathrobes.
After she had washed up, her legs found their way towards the bed and the sleepy woman collapsed on the fluffy bed.
When Sheng Ruming returned, this sight greeted him. Even though he was very angry and wanted to give her a piece of his mind, his mind whispered otherwise in the end.
Sheng Ruming went beside her. His eyes glanced down on her bare legs. He shook his head and muttered aloud, "At least take care of yourself, you lazy girl."
Her body was covered by the fluffy blanket. Sheng Ruming crossed his hands above his chest and murmured, "We have woken up so late today yet you... Here you go again. At this rate, you will turn fatter."
The man bent down and smirked. He whispered beside her ear and his hot breath tickled her senses, "Are you still on your period or not?!"
"Ho?" An inaudible sound escaped her lips. The next second, she wrapped herself in the softness of the blanket and showed him her back.
Sheng Ruming wasn't a man to back down so easily. He put his head beside her head and pinched her soft skin with his rows of shiny teeth.
Luo Lixi's face crumbled because of his actions. After he let go of the skin he was tugging, her hand went up and rubbed the wet skin. Watching this, Sheng Ruming put his two hands under her body and with swift and agile movements, he successfully lifted her up.
"Umm!" The drowsy woman opened her eyes and saw she was sitting on the lap of someone. Sheng Ruming was busy slowly stroking her skin with his fingers.
When Luo Lixi's slightly damped eyes stared at him, the man showed his wicked smile and went down to kiss the overflowing wetness from her eyes.
"Why are you crying?" The man asked her seriously. His mood was heavy and complicated. 'I haven't even done something to you. So why are you sad?'
Sheng Ruming patted her back. Luo Lixi glanced at him stiffly and muttered, "I am not crying. Just that a bold and preposterous person turned my eyes watery."
Luo Lixi sniffed hard. She thought in remorse, 'I don't even know why I am crying!'
Sheng Ruming also relaxed as the aggrieved woman stopped shaking. As if she remembered something, Luo Lixi glared at him, "Why are you holding me so tightly?!"
"... hey! You didn't find anything and just made up this to accuse and scold me, didn't you?" The man stared down at her fierce eyes.
Looking at him, Luo Lixi averted her sight and stared at her body. When she moved, he supported her and in the end, she sat on the bed, between his thighs.
"Why is your mood off? Has mother said something to make you unhappy?" Sheng Ruming jumped to this conclusion in that instant. "Tell me if she has bullied you. I will take care of her for you…"
The man trailed off as soon as her piercing eyes fell upon his face. Luo Lixi gritted her teeth and whispered angrily, "How can you say such things about your mother? Are you even her child?!"
Sheng Ruming was speechless. His eyes shook as the angry lady slapped him on his chest several times. He didn't even dare to move and let her. After all, her slapping him was equivalent to a feather tickling his skin and nothing more.
