Luo Lixi moved ahead and rubbed her face on his belly. The cold touch of the fabric made her skin comfortable.
Sheng Ruming noticed her sneaky action. But when she went ahead and rubbed her soft face on his body, his body became stiff and his muscles became tout.

"Lixi, aren't you hungry?" The man asked in concern. After all, she had yet to eat something and it's been so long.
"Not now. Later." But as soon as she said, her belly growled loudly. "Ah!" Even though she clutched her belly, it didn't stop right away.
Her whole body tensed up as she slowly turned her face to see him. Even though the man's face was normal, the slight creases at the corner of his eyes were enough to tell her that he was laughing at her.
"Later? A huge earthquake has already happened in your body and you still say later?!"
The man referred to her growling stomach but Luo Lixi misunderstood him.
"Shameless!" Her face was flushed in redness and she hurriedly hid it by planting her whole face on his tummy.
'What did I even do wrong?' Sheng Ruming wondered and thought he might as well ask her but when her glaring red ears fell on his vision, his heart felt ticklish.
"Rest a little longer. I will wake you up." Sheng Ruming rubbed her head. Luo Lixi hummed and then the whole room turned quiet.
Except for the additional sound of the key being touched, everything was too silent to the point where one would get suffocated.
The man also didn't leave and accompanied her the whole time. When his work was finished, finally he frowned and glanced towards the clock.
His expressionless face froze as his attention turned towards her. "Lixi, it has been a long time. Wake up."
His right palm nudged her slightly. As soon as she opened her eyes, she felt greatly irritated. "Don't disturb me!"
In truth, Luo Lixi had the urge to just lay in the bed for the whole day and night. Even her hunger felt numb. Her body was a little sweaty.
Sheng Ruming ridiculed her, "Are you a sloth? How can you sleep for so long!"
