"Oh, then…" While Luo Lixi was talking on the phone, the door opened with a creak. Su Mengsi saw Luo Lixi alone and entered the room silently.
Luo Lixi froze and turned around, only to see a gloomy Su Mengsi who was walking towards her. She kept her eyes on the old lady and murmured, "Grandma, someone is here. I will call tomorrow."
"Okay, miss. Please take care of yourself." Aunt Zhu said and then put down the phone.
Luo Lixi placed the phone on the dressing table and asked politely, "Aunty Su, do you need something?"
Su Mengsi stopped just some inches away from Luo Lixi and looked at her intensely. Then her lips moved with much difficulty, "Yes, I truly need something."
"What?" Luo Lixi asked.
"My daughter…" Su Mengsi whispered.
"Wh… what?!" Luo Lixi's calm face cracked when she heard it. 'Daughter? She wants her daughter from me?!'
Su Mengsi clenched her palms tightly and she took a large breath. Suddenly she fell down on her knees. "My daughter… Sheng Ruming has imprisoned my daughter…"
Large amount of tears fell from Su Mengsi's eyes as she stared at the ground. Luo Lixi was flustered by her sudden act and stepped back subconsciously. She rubbed her temple and thought, 'Am I hallucinating? Why would someone kneel down before me?!'
Looking down at the woman who was murmuring such shocking words, she realised that it was reality and couldn't stay calm, she crouched down in alarm.
"Aunt… aunty. What are you saying?! Please get up!" Luo Lixi grabbed her arms and tried to make her stand but Su Mengsi suddenly grabbed her back tightly.
She cried out in a whimper, "Sheng Ruming, he... has hidden away my daughter, Yan Ruomin. You, can you please tell him to release her? She isn't well…"
The more Su Mengsi said, the more she cried. When Yan Ruomin was taken away, Xiao Huang called her and told her that Yan Ruomin would be his 'guest' for a few days and not to worry.
