In the end Sheng Ruming let them go. As he saw the cars leaving, he turned around and entered the villa. He was frowning slightly and his eyes swept around but didn't find her.
When he went to the garden, other guests were still there but she was still missing. When he turned around, the maid he had sent to bring her to him earlier, slowly walked to him.
Even though her face was laced with fear, and worry, she still held the perfect strict face a maid should have and walked to him.
"Young master, Young Madam, she… something happened to her. Please follow me!" The maid murmured and turned around to leave.
Sheng Ruming's eyes narrowed dangerously, both in fear and concern for his wife, without a second thought he followed her in large steps. In a few moments, they reached Luo Lixi's room. As soon as he entered, his heart dropped.
Aunt Lin was helding Luo Lixi against her and was sprinkling water on her face but her eyes were closed shut. She didn't move and stayed there, motionless.
"Lixi!" Sheng Ruming ran up to her and took her from Aunt Lin's arms. When he patted her face, she didn't move and her face was deadly pale.
"What happened to her?!" Sheng Ruming yelled at the two people in the room. The maid flinched in fear while Aunt Lin bowed her head and said, "We don't know, Young Master. The maid found Young Madam on the floor. She has been like this for some time."
Sheng Ruming didn't waste time arguing with them. He took her in his embrace and rushed out from the back door of the villa. Xiao Huang had tight security around the villa and thus as soon as Sheng Ruming came out, he noticed.
Looking at the unconscious lady, he guessed the matter. Sheng Ruming didn't need to say anything and he came to him with a car. Then, they left the villa from the back entrance and thus nobody noticed them.
When Aunt Lin notified Wei Airan of this, rather than panicking, she handled the situation at hand perfectly and didn't let the guests find out that both stars of tonight's function were missing.
