"I am okay." Luo Lixi replied and saw all of them sighed in relief. A big question mark was lit up in her head by their behaviour.
Doctor Kai was smiling broadly at her answer, 'The medicine is working!' as he thought, he nodded with a huge smile that nearly blinded Luo Lixi, "As long as Miss Luo is okay, everything is alright. Now please, let's go into your room. It's time for your injection and medicine."
Luo Lixi nodded and then headed towards her room. When she turned around, she was taken aback to see five doctors entering her room. One old man was older than the others and it gave her an odd feeling. The corners of her lips twisted as she saw them getting busy around the room.
Soon, she was given two injections in her arm and several tablets. After she took them obediently, she asked Doctor Kai, "Doctor, what's the issue with me? Why the tablets and injections?"
"Well…" Doctor Kai saw her and thought it wasn't an issue to tell her about her condition, "You were drugged with a bad drug. It doesn't have any antidote. To suppress it, we have made these injections and tablets. If you can hang on for one year, you will be fine."
"Drug…" Luo Lixi became quiet. She didn't know what else to say or think about this situation. The doctor left but she stared at the ground for a long time.
After some minutes, two people came in who were in police uniforms. Both of them asked a bunch of questions to Luo Lixi.
"After having it, one will feel oddly energetic?" Luo Lixi thought and recounted her conversation with Madam Wang. The police noted down Madam Wang's name in their notebook beside Su Mengsi's name.
"Later, aunty gave me some packets of them and they should be in my purse, in Sheng Villa." Luo Lixi said to them.
One of the policemen said, "Alright. We will go to take it then. Thanks for cooperating.*
The two men left and Luo Lixi became lonely again. She glanced around and saw that there was a balcony attached to her room. Thus, she went there.
After she looked down, Luo Lixi was relieved. Many people were entering and exiting the entrance of the building and a huge signboard was attached to the building.
"Ming city's no.1 hospital… Hmm… " Luo Lixi murmured and looked up ahead, "It's really a hospital… "
While Whispering, she rubbed the back of her neck and tried to recall, "Who drugged me?! It can't be Aunty..."
But no matter how much she tried, she didn't remember anyone capable of this. If the policeman didn't say that she was drugged way long ago, she would have thought that Su Mengsi had done it after she became unconscious.

One of them who had accompanied her in the morning, replied, "Sorry. Boss is busy. It's better if we don't disturb him."

But when the time for her sleep came, Luo Lixi felt cold inside her and couldn't help but have negative thoughts as she felt hurt by the cold treatment she got, 'He didn't come to see me till now. Is he so busy that he can't come today? Did he forget about me? Why isn't he here yet? Didn't the bodyguards tell him I am awake? Or the drug in my body can infect him?...'
Luo Lixi thought and her mood became sad. Because of it, she tossed and turned a lot while trying to sleep. Soon she went into a deep slumber after she was given her medicines by Doctor Kai again.

In the next second, little Luo Lixi was forced out of her cocoon and forcefully fed bitter medicine by her mother. But this thing was a happy moment in her memory even though she tried to forget the bittersweet taste of the medicine.]

Black boots made loud sounds against the marvel floor as a man entered the floor from the elevator. Sheng Ruming stepped in and made his way towards Luo Lixi's room. When the guards saw them, they became quiet.
Sheng Ruming didn't pay any attention to others and naturally entered her room. When he saw the woman motionless on the hospital bed, he sighed again and then went to the washroom.
He came back with a wet cloth and wiped her clean. After he changed into pyjamas, Sheng Ruming went beside her and laid down on the bed. He hugged her gently and whispered before closing his eyes, "Good night."

When the morning came, Sheng Ruming woke up before everyone. He opened his eyes at 5 o'clock and went to change out of his pyjamas like other days.
After washing up and changing into his suit, he shot her a glance and then took out an injection from a box. Draining yellow liquids from a little glass bottle by the injection, he couldn't help but feel distressed for her.
In the past few days, he had been the one who would give her a part of the shot in the morning and then leave if he got the chance.
The project couldn't be delayed any longer and thus, even if he was reluctant, he would leave and then come back to her after the work would finish.
As per usual, he went beside her and lifted her arm to inject the liquid. After he rubbed a certain place, he pressed the needle against the skin. As soon as he stabbed it into the arm, the arm moved and retracted away from him at lightning speed.
"Ouch! Ouch! Who poked me?! Damn mosquito!" Luo Lixi subconsciously cried out in her sleep and hurriedly opened her eyes.
Then she saw the dumbfounded man but rather than talking to him, she sat up and rubbed her arm which was aching. When she checked her arm, she noticed a certain area on it had become red and drops of blood were coming out.
"You… you are awake?" Sheng Ruming whispered while standing there with the injection in his hand. A relieved expression took place on his haggard face.
"Or else?! Look, I am losing blood! Hurry! Give me a bandaid!" Luo Lixi cried out as she pressed down on her injured area.
"Ah? Oh!" Sheng Ruming nodded with a smile and then hurriedly went to get her a bandaid. After wrapping the place, he glanced at the full injection in his hand and turned to her, "I am not done yet. Let me…"
Luo Lixi had seen the huge injection and its length was the same as Sheng Ruming's palm. She gulped down hard and murmured, "Umm, I have taken two yesterday too. Can I skip today?"
