Yan Ruomin's health wasn't in good condition, not that she wanted to be but she was just in the sort of situation she had created for herself, only because she was imprisoned by Sheng Ruming's men and wasn't given proper food on time by the maid.

Patriarch Yan saw all of these from the terrace. He didn't like it when Su Mengsi became so engrossed in her daughter that all the other matters of the world would be forgotten by her. In the past few days, the woman didn't even use a proper gaze to look at him.
"Go check what's wrong with that troublesome girl. Send me all the updates." The old man instructed his assistant, his eyes looking at a distance with the rushing figures moving hastily, his cold and distant eyes remained calm.
"Yes." The assistant bowed respectfully, turned around and left. He followed the car in which Yan Ruomin and Su Mengsi left just now.
After they left, the whole place became deserted again. Patriarch Yan turned around and went to sit on the sofa. Then he picked up his phone and dialled Yan Luhan's phone.
"Why aren't you back yet? Does it take so long to deal with some business collaboration? Are you so useless?" Patriarch Yan asked sternly. He didn't like it when the company's matters would be left in other's hands, mainly to the shareholders.
The anxiety he felt for his business was much to drive his sleep away. On top of that Sheng Industry and Corporation was growing too rapidly which was another reason for his sleepless nights!
"I will return soon, father…" Yan Luhan said as he was staring at the university gate in which Ji Yanli had started to study. For many days, he had come and watched her from afar but didn't go out to meet her directly.
From afar, Yan Luhan could see that Ji Yanli was talking with two foreign men. After joining the university, she has made many friends and because of one's recommendation, she coloured her black hair into the chocolate shade.
Also, Ji Yanli wasn't under pressure like before when she was in the Sheng Industry and Corporation and thus took care of her treasured hair.
As a result, those fine locks had reached her hips! Those would sway beautifully with every movement of hers. In her smooth cream coloured shirt and white tight pants, she looked like a fresh white lily~

Yan Luhan's heart thumbed loudly every time he saw such scenes. She was so carefree and smiling so brightly that it was difficult to match with the cold face Ji Yanli of his memory. The man proceeded to walk out with a bundle of fresh roses. He had an eager expression in his mind as he watched the lady walking out with others.
But halfway through, he froze and stopped in his tracks. From somewhere around, Wang Haixiao came in large steps and hugged her tightly from the back.
As if the young man was wronged, he whispered, "I have searched for you in your class and library yet you…Lili, you… left me inside."
'Not again!' Ben cursed in his mind. He just couldn't believe that a man could act like a coquettish girl to gain favour with a lady. But surprisingly in Ji Yanli's case, it seemed like it worked every single time.
"Where were you? I was waiting for so long but you didn't come! Yet you have the gut to whine now?!" Ji Yanli inquired playfully as she slapped Wang Haixiao's arm slightly. Her cute eyes laughed as if those had lives!
The playful smile on her lips made it harder for Yan Luhan to stay composed but knowing that the lady's lips were curved because of a wild man, his heart hurt!
"There was an exam in my class. That's why I am late, sorry." Wang Haixiao replied with an innocent and doting smile when Ji Yanli rubbed the top of his head.
"If that's the case, then I can forgive you. Haixiao, you should know the most basic rules! You should never let a lady wait for you. "
After saying that, Ji Yanli grinned evilly. Then without looking around and minding the other two men, she dragged Wang Haixiao's face down and kissed him in front of others.
Ben looked elsewhere and hurriedly left the place, fuming and huffing in annoyance while Michael covered his eyes and cried out, "You two! Not again! Go rent a room and then do your fucking business!"
