As soon as Luo Lixi entered the fifth floor of the DreamArt studio, she halted on her steps. In her room, the man she was scolding a moment ago, was standing with his back towards her.
Sheng Ruming was gazing at her designs with a deep and admiring look. Besides, Yang Meili was standing with the design box quietly. She was handing him one paper at a time and explaining the meaning Luo Lixi had told before.
Outside, Luo Lixi saw Xiao Huang at one corner. The man was talking on the phone and upon watching her, he nodded and said respectfully, "Madam, Boss has been waiting for you. Please go inside."
Before, Luo Lixi used to think highly of Xiao Huang and other bodyguards and secret guards beside Sheng Ruming.
Suddenly, knowing the existence of that woman, she labelled them all as the best actors who could deceive people with a straight face!
How could she not feel hurt? Even this was all misunderstanding but for her… this instant was the truth and reality she believed and faced.
"Humph!" Luo Lixi didn't greet him back like other times and directly ignored Xiao Huang as she entered the room.
"..." The man was taken aback by her unfamiliar behaviour. But within a moment, he resumed his conversation with the other person on the phone and didn't pay any attention to this matter.
Luo Lixi strolled inside and directly snatched the paper from Sheng Ruming. Even though she knew it was rude of her to do so, she couldn't force down her temper and said with displeasure, "Don't touch these so randomly! Did you ask my permission before you took them out?"
The man raised his eyes and stared at her. Then he asked with a calm face, "Do I need permission to see your things?"
"Of course." Luo Lixi replied straight even though she felt guilty for being unreasonable.
"Okay, then. From now on, I will remember to ask you every time. Now, are you happy?" Sheng Ruming chuckled as he stepped ahead and raised his hand in front of Luo Lixi.
He rubbed her frown off of her forehead and whispered, "Don't frown. If you are angry, just vent it all out."
If Luo Lixi knew the man was classifying all her mood swings and tantrum as the after-effects of the fatal drug and the bunch of tablets and injections, she would have spat a mouthful of blood right on his face.
At that moment, Yang Meili felt heavy diabetes was approaching her to catch her off guard. She hurriedly retreated with her long heels beside the entrance and without making noise, she opened the glass door.
Before closing the door, she whispered, "CEO, Madam, if you need me, please call me. I will leave now!"
Sheng Ruming nodded. He liked the staff who have high EQ and act at the right moment. The man glanced back at Luo Lixi and inquired, "Where did you go earlier?"
"Is it really necessary to say?!" Her eyes turned sharp while asking.
"Not really." The man smiled when he saw her fierce face soothing. He knew if he had answered 'Yes', she would retort until she would become hyper.
All he wanted was his bubbly Luo Lixi, he was hoping she would get off of the drug effects soon.
'The scientists and researchers are so damn useless. They can't even make a single perfect antidote in so many days!' The man thought. If the scientists and researchers could have heard him, they would have cursed out.
Even in today's time and age, it's very difficult to make a proper antidote even though science and technology have progressed. Just because the science field is improving doesn't mean that they can make an antidote in a few days for a fatal drug!

She walked and stood right in front of him. After taking a large and forceful breath, she said deeply, "I am asking you again... Don't you have anything to say to me?"
The man stared into her black eyes and for a moment, he was lost. Suddenly Sheng Ruming remembered something and stood up with a jolt, all startled.
"Did you... Has your grandfather said something?!" Sheng Ruming asked with a shaky voice. The man was frightened when he thought she knew.
But she didn't reply and continued to look down. Inside she was confused and pondered in disbelief, 'Grandfather knew?!... No, if he had known, he wouldn't have let me marry Ruming. Perhaps, Ruming misunderstood something…'
