After working for a long time, Sheng Ruming felt his body stiff, numbness all over his body. He glanced at the clock and murmured, "It's been so long. Why isn't she back yet ?!"
While thinking, he stood up and went beside the window. Just when he cast his glance outside, he noticed someone. The lady had an angry face and made trouble inside of the mansion's path.
"Let me in. I want to see Luo Lixi!"
"Miss Kong, you can't. CEO Sheng has ordered us to not let you go near Madam. Please, don't make our life harder as it is..." One of the bodyguards said coldly.
Kong Pipi became furious. She pointed her forefingers and trembled as she shouted, "You bullies! This is Luo Mansion, not your Sheng Villa. Let me in!"
But Sheng Ruming's bodyguards were adamant and refused Kong Pipi entry. The real guards of the Luo Mansion glanced at each other. They knew Kong Pipi, who was the best friend of their Miss and thus got her entry at the entrance.
But looking at the attitude of the other bodyguards, they thought Luo Lixi didn't want to see Kong Pipi and thus stayed quiet.
Sheng Ruming frowned. The man still thought Luo Lixi was somewhere in the mansion and busy. Or else, she would have gone to see Kong Pipi.
'Her mood will be ruined if she saw this scene…' Sheng Ruming pondered with dark eyes.
Sheng Ruming thought and left the room in large steps. The other maids panicked when they saw him leaving and couldn't help but follow him in timid steps.

She stepped back when Sheng Ruming stopped right in front of her with frosty eyes staring down at her as if he wanted to freeze her to death.
She said while shivering, "You have been blocking me from meeting Luo Lixi. Today, I want to see her no matter what!"
Sheng Ruming sighed at her stubbornness. He shook his head and told her, "I have already told you five times. We really don't know Luo Lixiang's whereabouts."
"I don't believe you! Let me see Luo Lixi first!" While speaking, Kong Pipi widened her eyes as she glared at Sheng Ruming.
She tried to walk through but Sheng Ruming's three bodyguards made a humanoid wall and prevented her from sneaking in.
"Miss Kong, have some self-respect and go back.'' Sheng Ruming said patiently.
"I won't leave until you give him to me." Kong Pipi shouted but her black eyes were threatening to cry.
"Truth to be told… if Luo Lixiang is under me, no matter what, I won't let him go. But it's a pity… my men are still searching for him till this day. But he really has wicked skills, and vanished like smoke." Sheng Ruming muttered with a helpless look.
"You…" Kong Pipi didn't believe him. It's not as if she would do so in the future.
For the past few weeks, after Luo Lixiang went missing, she had been searching for him. Even her parents went mad because she had spent nearly all her savings which were in 7 figures.
But she didn't find him despite doing all within her limit. Even when her uncle helped, it didn't work out much. In the end, Kong Pipi came to a conclusion… [Sheng Ruming and Luo Qintian lied.]
'One of them has definitely hidden Luo Lixiang somewhere!' Kong Pipi thought and her eyes flashed.
She wanted to go in and talk with Luo Lixi. But she was in for bad luck as Sheng Ruming didn't even want to see anybody disturbing his wife.
"You three, don't just stand there. Pick her up and throw her out. We don't need any troublemakers in the mansion." Sheng Ruming instructed with a straightforward attitude and his ice-cold gaze while placing his hands behind his back.
"You fucking dare…" Kong Pipi cursed out aloud as she cast away her image as a noble lady. Xiao Huang sighed as he pondered, 'Why does this scene look so... familiar?!'
As he was in the midst of dragging and throwing Kong Pipi out of the mansion, Xiao Huang finally remembered, 'Miss Yan was also like this. Does love really make people crazy?!'
Xiao Huang thought deeply and then rejoiced in mind, 'Luckily, I don't have anyone I like…'
Finally, Kong Pipi was thrown out of the mansion and the surroundings regained the peacefulness from before. Sheng Ruming nodded his head in approval and turned around to go inside of the mansion.
Only then, he noticed the maids who were peeping at him from far away. The man remembered that he didn't see his wife for a while and began to miss her.
Thus, Sheng Ruming walked towards them. The maids didn't run away as they recalled Aunt Zhu ordered them to act normally.
"Excuse me, can you ask Luo Lixi to come to me?'' Sheng Ruming asked them politely.
One of the maids, who was slightly older, hesitated as she stepped forward and said apologetically, "Young master, Miss Luo has gone somewhere… with Head Zhu."
"Oh?" Sheng Ruming nodded and inquired, "So you want to tell me… you don't know when they will come?!"
"…Yes. Sorry, Young master Sheng." The Maid apologized and stepped back to stand with the other maids.
"This... What is this?! Lixi, you dared to leave me behind and ran away?!" Sheng Ruming thought with a stifled heart. He turned around and saw Xiao Huang coming back after taking care of Kong Pipi.
"When did she leave the mansion?" Sheng Ruming asked when the other person stopped before him.
"Who?" Xiao Huang was puzzled, "Who left and when?"
From his confused reaction, Sheng Ruming realised that he didn't know the matter of Luo Lixi leaving. Thus, he didn't ask further and turned around to go back.
The maids exchanged glances and one of them asked, "Young Master Sheng, it seems Young Miss will be late. It's already past 3 pm. Why don't you have lunch first?"
"No. I will eat with my wife." Sheng Ruming waved his hand and went inside. Xiao Huang gave the maids a cold stare and they immediately turned their eyes away.
'Young Miss, please come back as soon as possible.' The maids thought in simultaneously.

"Why is there such a large jam today?'' Zhao Yichen murmured angrily. As far as he looked ahead, only long rows of cars entered his eyes.
On the co-pilot seat, Luo Lixi breathed irregularly. Even though the AC of the car was turned to the max and Zhao Yichen nearly turned into an ice sculpture, it wasn't enough to calm her down.
"Yi… chen… take the other... road." Luo Lixi said with great difficulty. Her eyes were cloudy and like the past where she failed to see anything. In short, it was only darkness even though the sun was shining with its full glory.
But she didn't tell this matter to Zhao Yichen and kept her eyes closed even though it was difficult to do so. In her heart, Luo Lixi pondered with remorse as her nails dug into her skin this time, 'Who are you? Why did you poison me? Did I ever do something wrong to anybody?'
As Luo Lixi thought, she tried to recall if in her long life, had she done something to harm or annoy anyone. But except Luo Lixiang who wanted to see her dead just for the sake of property, not any other person she could think of in her head.

'It's impossible to leave the place with this car…' As Zhao Yichen thought in trouble, he noticed a traffic police officer who looked very helpless watching the great traffic jam.
Zhao Yichen opened the car window and waved at him. The traffic police thought something was wrong and hurriedly walked up. As soon as he saw Zhao Yichen, he blurted out in surprise, "CEO Zhao?!"
The traffic police knew the most recognised identity of Zhao Yichen, the new CEO of the most renowned company of the Long city, Luo Corporation. He came into the online discussion after doubling the stock price of the company.
Zhao Yichen didn't see the shining eyes of the other person and asked directly, "Do you have your motorbike?"
