Despite being unable to see anything Luo Lixi was able to run when Zhao Yichen started to run because he had grabbed her hand tightly. But, there was no way to escape as they were in the middle of a road and their situation was the same as ants in a hot frying pan.

Three shooters fired bullets at the same time and no bullets missed the target. Right after, Zhao Yichen froze in his steps, unable to move an inch any longer.
Luo Lixi widened her eyes in fear when she heard the ear-piercing loud noise of gunfire. In the next moment, she felt the hand holding her loosening bit by bit.
Even though Luo Lixi couldn't see anything at that moment, she held the person who was falling down and shouted in a shaky voice as she embraced him with trembling hands, "Yichen! Say something, Yichen!"
