"I don't think I can come tonight. It is already past 9 o'clock now." Sheng Ruming replied as the phone was gripped by his left hand while he tore a bid piece from the omelet by his right hand and fed it to the extremely hungry woman.
Luo Lixi both cheeks bulged as she chewed the omelet in her mouth with extreme delight. She took a green leaf from a side dish and dipped it in white sauce and placed it in her mouth.
Feng Shaoling gazed down from the railing. He chuckled in amusement.
"Why are you laughing?" Sheng Ruming asked before he took a little piece of omelet from the side. Luo Lixi fed him a piece of cabbage before dipping it in a chilli sauce paste. Sheng Ruming was talking on the phone. When she fed him, he naturally accepted it but after his taste buds registered what it was, he shot her an accusing look but the culprit was eating in her delight; not feeling guilty for even a tiny bit at all.
"I guess you will have to come even if it turns midnight."
"Why say that?" He was munching the food after finishing a glass of water. After that, he placed a big piece of meat on her rice bowl. She places everything in her mouth obediently unlike the past when she protested to eat everything.
"Why? Well, let me show you." Feng Shaoling told him as he cut the line. He twisted his hand and took a picture of below, Then he sent it to him.
After waiting some time, he didn't see any incoming call. 'So, I can assume he is coming.'
Putting the phone in his pocket, Feng Shaoling walked towards the wine shelves. He took out a low-quality grape wine and unhooked it.
Yan Luhan saw him as he walked towards him and picked two wine glasses for them. Afterwards, both of them walked before a round table beside the railings and sat down on the low stools.
The latter filled the two glasses as they gulped down the wine in one shot after doing cheers.
Sheng Ruming was thinking what would the man send to him but then Luo Lixi took some shredded meat in her chopsticks from a plate. She was going to feed him.

When Sheng Ruming saw it, he was naturally happy as he opened his mouth a little to eat. But his phone buzzed as a notification came in. He glanced at it subconsciously but when he saw the picture he had difficulty to close his lips.
Luo Lixi became displeased by him. She was holding the chopsticks in midair but the man was glancing on the phone.
"What's wrong with you? Use it after finishing the food."
In annoyance she shoved the chopsticks in his mouth just like he had done in the past. Sheng Ruming bit down on it as he zoomed on the photo.
There were many people including many influential families. Among them, was his mother. She along with his father were talking with some relatives of theirs.
After staring at the screen, a thought popped in his mind. 'It seemed to be the 'Yan' farmhouse.' He closed the phone and placed it on a side. Of course, he knew in an instant what could have happened there.
"I have to go now." In a helpless tone he spoke up.
"Go then." Luo Lixi put aside her rice bowl and placed the plate which had omelet, in front of her.
"Don't you have something to say to me?" He waited for her as he shot her an expecting look.
But the woman was having none of it, she placed the chopsticks aside and tore a piece of omelet with a fork. After finishing the piece in a leisure manner, she took the glass of orange juice from the side and finished half of it.
"Don't break your promise. It is a bad thing. Go now." After saying that, she finished the full glass and put it down on the table. She showed him a slight smile as she stood up.
"You didn't finish the omelet yet."
"I don't want to sleep in a bloated stomach. I will have difficulty to fall asleep."
Sheng Ruming also stood up and followed her as she went upstairs. When they reached before their room, Luo Lixi turned towards him.
"Good night and...Goodbye." She turned around and opened the room door to enter but a pair of big hands embraced her waist and dragged her back.
Sheng Ruming put his head beside her ear and told her in a very low voice.
"Wait for me to come back. Also...don't ever say goodbye to me." The silent woman turned towards him as he slowly empathised, "Just say... see you soon."
Luo Lixi turned towards him as their eyes met each other. She gazed upon his black orbs as she smiled.
In a rather low tone she said to the man.
"Ming Ming… see you soon."
After finishing it, she gripped his chin and turned it sideways. Her lips fell on the centre of his left cheek as she pecked him hard.
Sheng Ruming was surprised at first but he was delighted that she took the initiative to kiss him this time.
Though it was on the check, he was happy. He also wanted to return it to the person but she hurriedly broke away and jumped in the room.
After locking the door, Luo Lixi heaved a big sigh. But then her face heated up.
'Oh God! I nearly lost control!' She dashed towards her duvet and hid under the bedsheets. Her already pink face turned redder as she thought about the man.
When she recalled what happened in his room, she buried her head in the pillow even further but the fabric tickled her nose and it caused her to...
