Su Mengsi came before the room and saw it was locked from the outside. Her brows knitted in displeasure.
The door had a silver door latch on it and currently a door lock was hanging on it.
In a fit of anger she took it in her hand and threw it in great strength; causing it to make a loud sound on the metal latch.
Even if Yan Luhan was her son, she felt very disappointed at his thoughtless behaviour. He could have told her about Yan Ruomin's condition. There were so many opportunities for him at the gathering but he didn't mention it to her. Which mother would feel good about it?!
A female servant followed her when she saw Su Meng walking up the stairs in concern. So she followed her but when she saw the angry old woman, she decided not to approach her.
But Su Mengsi's sensed that someone was there beside her. When she turned around, she saw a young female servant standing far away from her. But what made her displeased was that that woman didn't come to her, nor did she greet her. But rather she turned her gaze on the floor when Su Mengsi looked at her.
"What are you doing there?! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!" Su Mengsi's thunderous roar could be heard even from the outside of the villa.
The guards who had received the call early night had an understanding look on his face. When he was standing outside of Yan Luhan's room, he heard everything and could guess the matter but his colleagues were clueless about their madam's sudden outburst. Though they were only workers and shouldn't meddle in others personal matters, they were curious about it.
Thus the guards who knew the matter more or less, took the heavy burden on his shoulder and explained everything to them thoroughly! Sigh!
"Madam, do you need something?" The petrified woman literally ran towards her and asked in a timid voice.
Yan farmhouse only had three female servants and one gardener to care for it. There wasn't a need to hire more. Only on special occasions would Yan Luhan hire some extra stuff for sufficient manpower but those weren't permanent.
Su Mengsi glared at the young woman who had just come.
"Why is there a lock on the door?There is someone inside the room. Who has locked it?!"
"It...it was the young master who did it." The maid answered with some difficulty.
Su Mengsi's eyes narrowed as a glint flash in her phoenix eyes.
"The key." She straightened her hand and asked for the key so that she could open the locked door.
The servant was slow witted so she stared at her shoes with a foolish look on her face.
Well, she couldn't be blamed. Currently Su Mengsi had a nasty look on her face. Also, she didn't sleep at night so she had slightly blackish eye bags under her eyes, appearing like those scary villainesses of the movies. The young servant never encountered someone like her since she started to work when she was sixteen. So she was dumbfounded at that time.
"Are you deaf? Can't you hear me? THE KEY!!!" Su Mengsi snapped at the woman. She hated the look on her white face. The woman's face had an expression like due was standing before some awful being.
'I will fire her after I finish the matters at hand.' Su Mengsi snorted at the woman before her.
The servant finally galore her senses back as she hurriedly answered Su Mengsi.
"I don't have the key.Young master Yan has the key with him. He personally locked the door the previous night and forbade us to go near it."
Su Mengsi didn't waste time as she walked towards another room.
At first she thought it must be locked from inside so she knocked at it but the door opened by itself when she used a little more force.
With a little afford, the middle aged woman opened the room and stormed inside the room.
However, The room was brightly lit up. Su Mengsi saw only Mu Jiang was sleeping on the bed while Yan Luhan was nowhere to be seen
Then she heard flowing water from the bathroom. She wanted to walk towards it to ask him about the key but then her sight fell on the bedside where a key ring which had some keys on it laid.
She walked towards the bed and took the key ring in her hand. She didn't know which was the key to Yan Ruomin's room.
Nonetheless, with it she walked out of the room and came before the locked room. Before coming out of the room, she shot a sharp look towards the closed washroom door.
"Useless! Not even a thing is done by you is good!"
"I know..." Came the voice of Yan Luhan from the washroom.
