Sheng Ruming tapped at the door to get the nurse's attention. The woman jumped up at the sudden presence of him. Sheng Ruming gazed at her in amusement because of her comedic response.
After today, the nurse would return to the hospital as they would go to New York. Her job here was finished already. But the woman didn't know.
"Sir…" She wanted to say something. He knew what she would say.
"I will give her."
The nurse nodded her head in understanding as she gave everything to him, the medicine box and the candies. Luo Lixi used to eat sweets after she would eat the medicine but after eating them for so long she had developed resistance against those because they would make her gain weight easily. So she told Sheng Ruming to buy some diet candies for her.
After taking the box and candies, Sheng Ruming closed the door. When he walked back, he found a dumpling Lixi on his bed. Only her head was sticking out from the white sheet. He smirked while making his way towards her.
Meanwhile, Luo Lixi unfolded the milky white bedsheet and wrapped herself in it. Her clothes were ripped by him earlier and she was angry about it. She thought if the nurse would come in the room, it would be embarrassing to be seen in that unkempt condition.
The truth was, Luo Lixi had spent most of her time with this warm lady and she was used to it already. Sheng Ruming didn't even spend one-third of the time the nurse had. The lady was a very good-hearted person. She had treated Luo Lixi as she treated her own daughter and Luo Lixi would feel relaxed around her.
The nurse had actually been taking care of her medicines for a long time. Some days ago, Luo Lixi told her she could take her medicine by herself. She had to take them no matter what so she decided she wouldn't let the middle-aged woman wake up so early in the morning only for her sake.
So the nurse would come later to check if Luo Lixi had really eaten her medicines or not. She was in her room back then so she didn't know Sheng Ruming had come.
Earlier when she had gone to Luo Lixi's room to check if she had really taken her medicines, she noticed only the less bitter medicines were touched but the other two liquid medicines weren't.
Thus she searched for Luo Lixi but didn't find her anywhere. Without any choice, she asked a mid who was working in the hall room. That woman answered she had seen Luo Lixi entering Sheng Ruming's room.
So she intended to bring the whole medicine box and the bitterness relieving candies to Sheng Ruming's room. She didn't think she needed to knock at the door because only Luo Lixi was there.
But as soon as she had opened the door, she noticed several things were on the ground. She was puzzled at first but then when she heard the vague sound of someone moaning, the woman didn't need to tell by dome one to know what was happening in the room. Thus she immediately walked away while she closed the door behind.
The nurse was feeling very embarrassed but she inwardly felt relieved as she thought they didn't notice her. But she was wrong. Both the people inside the room heard the sound of the door closing but because of Sheng Ruming's persuasion, Luo Lixi ignored it and emerged in their heated kissing.
After Sheng Ruming closed the door, she hurriedly walked down the stairs and reached the second floor. The maid from earlier was working there till then. She didn't dare to gaze elsewhere as they would immediately notice her flushed face. After entering her room and locked the room from inside.
'People these days.... Sigh!' The woman patted her chest as she went to do her work.

Luo Lixi nodded her head as she took the glass. She wanted to put it aside to take out medicines from the box but Sheng Ruming sat beside her and took it ahead of her. But after he had opened the non-transparent box, even he was a little astonished by the number of medicines in there.
"You have to eat them everyday?!" With a tinge of doubt in his voice he asked her because there were ten different kinds of medicine in the box.
"Hmm… I'm so pitiful. Don't you think so?"
Luo Lixi appeared as if she was very sad. Also, she acted as if she would cry in the next second. Slowly, she wiped her non-existent tears by her right hand.
"These… are very bitter.Dead people will die a second if they had to eat so bitter medicines." Sheng Ruming smiled when he heard her whimpering.
He was going to take out all the medicine but Luo Lixi stopped her.
"Take out the yellow and pink tablets and those two liquid bottles."
He did as he was told to. One by one he took two tables from the silver strips and handed her. When Luo Lixi straightened her right arm to accept them, the bedsheet slipped down till her navel area. Due hesitated to what to do. One of her hands had the glass and the other needed to take the medicine so she needed a third one to keep the white bed sheet around her body but unfortunately, she didn't have a third hand.
Thus she lifted her head to tell Sheng Ruming to look away from her but the latter was unfazed by her as he didn't show any particular emotion in his face.
'Forget it. He has already seen me. Also, I'm not totally naked either.' Her black lace bra was there to shield her treasure buns from his sight.
Sheng Ruming raised his eyes and gazed at her intently at her face. The redness didn't fade away totally from it. He thought she would be shy away from him but surprisingly she didn't and he was very happy about it. It showed she really accepted him as her own.
Now, Luo Lixi's sense was on the medicines in her hand. These were very valuable as well as very expensive like their horrid taste because they were brought from abroad by Sheng Ruming because of Xiao Peilan's suggestion.
The doctor told him these medicines were very beneficial for the patient's brain. As Luo Lixi was in a coma, these could be very helpful for her health.
Luo Lixi slowly took the medicines in her mouth and put them on top of her tongue. As soon as the tablets came in contact with her taste buds, her face lost its rosy colour.
With three mouthfuls of water she gulped down the things and emptied the glass at the same time. Sheng Ruming saw her face as if she was under a lot of pressure.
"The candies…" She snatched the candies from his hand and hurriedly unwrapped the plastic wrappers of them. She put two in her mouth and heaved a sigh. A second ago, she felt her stomach was twisting to throw up.
But then, her resentful eyes fell on the liquid bottles. Those were pain in the ass for her.
In great difficulty, she managed to finish taking them.
