From the corner of her eyes, Sarah saw a black car coming from the opposite direction and directly blocked the taxi's driving route. The taxi driver stopped the taxi, walked out from it and began to curse at the black car.
Luo Lixi also walked out from the car. When she recognized the black car, she walked beside the car. Sheng Ruming had already walked out of his car.
"Where are you going?" Sheng Ruming asked her as soon as he came beside Luo Lixi. Earlier when he was driving towards the building's direction, he saw her entering the taxi from afar and thus he directly blocked its path to stop Luo Lixi from going anywhere .
"Wait for a second..." After she had told him to wait, Luo Lixi turned towards the taxi driver.
"I know him. I won't go to the store anymore." At her remark, the taxi driver looked even more angry but didn't voice out his displeasure. Luo Lixi was a thoughtful person. She hurriedly took out a note and handed it to him.
"Take the money." The driver saw it was a hundred dollar's note. His mood stopped being angry and the anger vanished in that instant.
Without saying anything further he stuffed the note in his shirt's pocket, entered his taxi and drove away.
Only then Luo Lixi turned towards Sheng Ruming. Her stern gaze surprised him a little. It was the first time she had ever shown him that face. It felt like she wanted to claw at his face.
"Just what took you so long?! You didn't even receive my call! You told me to call you if I needed you but I have already called you four times. JUST WHAT WERE YOU BUYING THAT YOU DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A SINGLE MOMENT TO RECEIVE MY CALL?!" Luo Lixi's patient snapped when she was talking. In the last line, she even screamed at him but Sheng Ruming saw her tears were threatening to fall down on her face. Her face and nose had already turned red. Sheng Ruming felt guilty that he made her upset.
Hurriedly he took out his phone from his pants pocket and checked it. There were several missed calls beside Luo Lixi. Just that due to some reason the phone had turned into silent mode. 'Must be by accident…' Sheng Ruming turned towards and took her hand in his.
"Don't cry. It was my fault. Don't shout anymore."
"Who is crying?" She asked him while crossing her hands before her chest. "I'm just angry…" Then she sniffed hardly to force her tears not to fall.
"Oh! I must have been mistaken then. It's good you aren't crying. Recently you cry a lot."
"You…" Luo Lixi wanted to scold him again but two cars had to stop behind his car. The front car began to ring his horn loudly. One of the people even opened the car door and walked out but remain standing at the entrance of the car.
"Man, just what are you in the middle of the road! Do you want me to call the police?" He shouted at Sheng Ruming while threatening him. The man was very hostile.
"Sorry. Please wait a second…"
Sheng Ruming told her to walk towards the building while he entered his car. The car was in the middle of the road thus caused disturbance to the other people. When he drove his car ahead, the other two cars started to follow it and coincidently the three of the cars went to the parking lot to park their cars.
After parking the car, Sheng Ruming got down from it and gestured to Luo Lixi to go there. Luo Lixi didn't enter the building till then hence she went directly towards him.
"I waited for you so long…" Her displeased face was clear to him. He wanted to say something but he knew there was no need to say anything further.
"I know, you waited for me." While saying he turned towards the car.
'No. You don't know…' Her emotional thoughts had to stop when he took out six shopping bags and stuffed them in her hands. Those weren't enough. He gave her two more bags.

Luo Lixi saw there was even shoes aside from the various shopping bags of dresses.
When Sarah saw that from afar, she abruptly ran there as her little brown eyes twinkled in the night. The girl even dropped her teddy bear but didn't stop to pick it up.
"Ah, Sarah! Wait… "The receptionist hurriedly went after her. She was afraid something might happen to the little girl. Also, it was night time. She picked the teddy bear from the ground and tried to run after her. But because of her high heels, she staggered while running.
"Sister, let me help you..." Sarah stopped in the middle of the couple and faced Luo Lixi as she reached out her little hand and took two shopping bags in her hands even before Luo Lixi could say something. Those two bags she had put on the ground as she was having difficulty to hold all of the bags.
Sarah took two back in her two hands and smiled at Luo Lixi. Those two contained shoes and weren't very heavy. Luo Lixi saw the girl was very happy so she let her be.
Then Sheng Ruming took out several more bags and those were more than ten bags. With his two fists, he took the hold of those and turned towards her.
"Let's go…" Only then his attention fell on the cute girl.
"Who are you? Those bags are for my wife. Return them!" Sheng Ruming sounded extra worked up as he stepped before the little girl and tried to take back the bags from her but Sarah ran behind Luo Lixi.
"She is Sarah, Sarah Han." The woman laughed as she told him. His earlier face when he tried to snatch the bags from the little girl was something to remember forever.
'A big bully…' Luo Lixi thought in his mind as she shook her head and held the bags tighter.
"Sarah? Sarah Han?" At his questions, Sarah peeked at him from behind Luo Lixi. Sheng Ruming found her face very familiar.
"Yes." The girl glared at him with hesitation this time and properly faced him. "Uncle, why did you make big sister upset?! Sister had to wait for you so long and I also had to wait. Bad uncle!"
"..." Luo Lixi was silent.
"Why is she 'sister' but I am 'uncle'?!" Sheng Ruming found it very unpleasant and voiced out his inner thoughts.
"You are old…"
"..." Luo Lixi blinked her eyes.
The little girl gave him a cold shoulder as she withdrew her neck. It wasn't that he was old but rather she labeled him as a bad person. When Sarah saw Luo Lixi was laughing, she also smiled.
"Sister, you can come to my home now, right?"
"Mmm."
The two of them already started to walk towards the building while the receptionist ran towards them. The blonde woman started to pant heavily and shot Sarah a disapproving look.
"You shouldn't have run without notifying me. It's night now also what if something happened to you! Here, Your teddy bear!"
When her eyes saw the logo on the bags in Sarah's hand she looked surprised. Then;she noticed Sheng Ruming but then she remembered she had left the reception desk empty. The woman adjusted her crooked eyeglasses and turned around to enter the building. She didn't even think of helping them with the bags. Not that it was her job…
"Can you handle it?" Luo Lixi was having difficulty holding three things at a time but the clever little girl managed to grab them securely.
'Sigh! Why am I thinking as if I'm violating the law by letting her hold them?...' Luo Lixi's mind began to think more useless things as she walked there.
But Sheng Ruming was standing at his place. His thought was, 'Who the hell is Sarah Han by the way?! Am I supposed to know her?!' He shot a look at the little girl walking with Luo Lixi. He matched dot with dot as a light bulb lit up in his mind.
'Ethan Han's daughter?' As this thought crossed his mind his facial feature turned emotionless. 'But wasn't he unmarried? How did this girl pop out from nowhere? Or I'm mistaking her as his daughter?' He stopped thinking when he didn't see Luo Lixi's silhouette in his sight. He hurriedly walked inside the building.
"Good evening sir. May I help you with the bags?" The blonde woman walked before Sheng Ruming and wanted to take the bags from him. Her English words were sounding extra pleasant to the ears as she reached out to take ghetto bags from him but he backed away.
"No need…. "Then his eyes fell on Luo Lixi so he changed his mind. He gave all the boats to the receptionist. The woman's face cracked for the nth time today as she took the bags from him. "Come with me."
The woman nodded as she followed him. When he arrived behind Luo Lixi he opened his mouth to speak in Chinese the receptionist didn't understand him at first but then her face cracked… yet again.
Luo Lixi was waiting for the lift when his voice came from behind.
"Lixi, give me your bags." When she turned her body towards him, he took the bags from her hands one by one and stood beside her.

Now she was the only one who didn't have anything to hold. Even the little girl had something.
