The starry night sky shined twinkled over the two men warming up near a campfire.

"Oh, it's just a job where you sit back and relax they said. Never told me that I would be sitting in the freezing cold! Damn, this really sucks." The man who spoke rubbed his palms quickly together in hopes that it would warm his hands up.

"Shut up with you complaining. I'm out here just like you, and I haven't said sh*t yet! Now go out and patrol the area, it's your turn. Don't forget what the boos said, there have been some suspicious activities brewing up lately." The man who said this pointed a large jagged edge machete in the first man's direction.

With his curses filling the air, the man began to walk around the perimeters they were given. "Stupid boss acting like he's hot sh*t. Ha! Once I get strong enough, I'll show him whose the real boss around here." Suddenly a loud sound rang out behind the man after he had been walking around the he vicinity for ten minutes. ~plop~ "Huh?"

He turned around and walked towards the source of the noise, it seemed to have come from behind a dumpster. The man was about to ignore the sound until he heard a rustling coming from the other side. The noise made him jump in fright, but he held himself back from releasing a shout.

Reaching into his pockets, the man pulled out a switchblade and flipped it open. A hint of his energy entered into the weapon and the blade began to glow with a faint yellow. As the man walked ever closer to the rustling, his legs began to tremble and sweat dripped down his face.

He was only three steps from the dumpster and with one final push, he jumped to the other side and shouted, "Hah!" A stray cat screeched out in terror and hissed at him as it ran away.

The man was shocked after he saw the cat and wiped away the sweat from his brow, "Hahahaha."

"Hey! What was that shout about?" The voice of the machete man called out of sight from their makeshift camp. He calmed down his breathing as he yelled back, "Ah, it was nothin. Just a f*ckin cat is all."

He only received a grunt of acknowledgement in return and everything suddenly went silent again. The man turned around ad was about to continue his inspection, but suddenly a hand grasped around his mouth and he felt a sharp object slide across his throat.

His gave off muffled screams as blood poured out of his neck like a fountain, and within seconds his life force was depleted completely. The assassin dragged the dead body away into the shadows as another fake over and cleaned up all traces of the spilt blood.

Time passed and the man with the machete looked in the direction that his associate left in. It had been over half an hour already, but the man usually would return with in fifteen minutes. At first, he assumed that the man was just screwing around, but now he was beginning to get worried.

As one of his arms pulled out his blade, the other reached over for the button that would signal an alarm to warn all of the other people out on watch to be wary. Just as the button was within his grasp, the man lost sight of his hand and a searing pain shot up his arm. He tried to scream out but before any noise could escape his mouth, a glint of silver flashed by and the man's head flew into the air.

Three men stepped out of the shadows and one of them pulled out a Bluetooth headset and spoke into it, "The outer guards are taken care of, be careful of people possibly protecting the inside of the building as well."

A voice covered by static answered back, "Understood, move on to phase two."

The man nodded to his compatriots and they all silently disappeared into the dead of night.

The man who was speaking to the assassins removed the headset he was wearing and turned to the man behind him, "Sir, the outer defenses have been shut down and the guards have been taken cared of."

Zan Rong gave off a smile as he pointed his finger over to the small shack, "Do not be fooled, hidden inside that pathetic shack is a stronghold of epic proportions. Remember that we won't be facing just a few untrained warriors in there. No, we will be fighting an army that will be more than likely larger than our. So my men, I only have one advice to give: fight hard and fight strong. And if you are to die, then die with glory!"

The surrounding men and women raised up swords, spears, shields, and other weapons that each of them wielded and shouted in unison, "BORN TO BATTLE!"

The army ran in with Zan Rong leading the charge. They had to enter into the doorway one by one in a single file line, which would've looked incredibly stupid if any onlookers were around. As expected, there were guards protecting the inside of the shack as well, but this time they were able to trip the alarm before the army could stop them.

A loud wail rang out as the alarms within the stronghold screeched out in warning. Zan Rong and company used their strength to smash the ground beneath them, in order to reveal a large expanse or space hidden underneath the wooden floorboards.

The area was almost big enough to fit a small town of ten thousand people. Suddenly, an incredibly large group of people popped out of the underground settlements with armor and weapons already equipped.

"It's just like the boss said, someone came here tonight in an attempt to take our branch down. But they've underestimated us, let's show them what we can do!" The boss of the enemy forces yelled out and he pulled a sword out of the scarbbard around his hips and pointed it forward. "My army of two thousand men, CHARGE!"

The cultivators gathered around and released their aura, revealing over a thousand people in the third realm, a hundred in the fourth, and only a handful in the fifth realm. The third realm vanguard charged in with reckless abandon. Zan Rong stepped forward and gave off a powerful shout as he smashed his fist together.

An awesome force shot out and slaughtered fifty of the two hundred cultivators charging at them. He could've probably killed more, but he was saving his strength for the more "important" people.

Zan Rong didn't even shout as he said in a simple tone, "Attack."

The two groups clashed together like liquids converging into a crack formed between two body of waters.

Shouts and yells we're yelled out as bodies and blood spattered everywhere. Zan Rong stood back and watched the battle transpire with his wife, Zan Fu, and Shu Rong at his side.

He turned to his son and Shu Rong and said, "Are you ready?"

The two people smiled confidently as the pressure around them began to intensify, "Born to battle."

~~~~~~~~~~Five Minutes Before Zan Rong's Charge
It took a bit of effort for Braedon, Kai Jun, and the others to sneak past the shack's defenses. They entered into the building and had Blue lead them to the best way to get to the boss.
They made great progress and reached the hidden underground town that the boss had been personally building for fun. Blue snickered while saying, "We are making incredible progress, as long as the alarm isn't triggered or anything like that then this mission will be a breeze."
All of a sudden, the blaring sound of an alarm blasted into their ears and the group of four saw hundreds of people pop up out of nowhere nearby where they stood. Another smaller army appeared a short distance away and after a few words were said, the two armies charged at each other.
It only took a few second before a group of people from the town army noticed the four people standing there frozen in shock.
"Hey! I think I found some of the enemy's scouts over here. Let's go get them!" A group of about fifty people charged at them and pushed them back into the conflict between the two armies.
Braedon looked over at Blue with a pissed off expression, "You just HAD to open up your mouth and jinx us didn't you?!"
