Tia's face looked grim as she locked her gaze onto Melan. His sudden advancement had really put pressure onto her. She wasn't his match to begin with, and now even with the guy from the West Gale, she was still feeling pressured.

"Crackle!"

A huge pillar of lightning suddenly struck the ground, and shook the land. The scene literally looked as if doomsday had arrived.

"Gosh! He is strong!" Tia couldn't help but mutter in surprise. This was her first time facing someone at the Expert Tier seriously.

On the other side, the Death Eater coiled around its owner, and protected him from the discharge. This person's face didn't look too good either. It was obvious that he too was a bit shaken by the sudden change in Melan's situation.

At this moment, the blinding light of thunder disappeared, and Melan appeared in the centre of it. The area around him was scorched black. And, there were still lingering electrical discharges around.

Melan on the other hand, seemingly had changed a bit as well. His pupils were shining with golden glow, and tiny little threads of golden current sizzled around the corner of his eyes.

"Careful! He has activated some kind of true spell.." Tia yelled when she realised that there was a strange fluctuation of mana around.

But, she soon realised that it was going to be useless. This guy in front of him definitely was not your average Expert Tier mage. Melan's figure which was right in front of her the entire time, suddenly went missing, it was as if he disappeared into the void.

"Sizz!"

From the corner of her eyes, Tia seemed to catch a glimpse of golden light.

"Crackle!"

Melan had already arrived in front of the Death Eater, his fist covered in the golden threads of thunder struck out.

"Scree!!" The Worm like creature immediately let out a painful shriek. But, this time, the damage was definitely way more. Small cracks like fissures appeared on the body of the Beast, and a golden glow ran through it making the creature writhe in agony.

"Y-You!!" The Owner of the Beast was shocked by this strange sight, and immediately pulled back.

But, Melan didn't plan to give him an opportunity to do so. His figure once again flashed, and he arrived in front of the guy. But, suddenly, he tilted his body back, and a fist immediately shot through the place where his head earlier was.

Tia had actually managed to arrive towards him as well. It seemed she had predicted Melan's movement, but still couldn't match his speed.

"Tsk.." A frown appeared on Tia's face as she missed the first blow. Melan obviously used this opportunity, and his fist struck towards Tia's side.

Tia knew this was bad, but since she was slower than Melan. Her chances of dodging were almost zero. Hence, she immediately went to trade a blow for a blow.

Her fist which was stretching out after having missed Melan, and immediately went swinging towards Melan's face while her other hand went to grab the incoming fist. Even if she was struck, she was determined to hold onto the guy and break his face into two.

"Nice try.." Melan suddenly smiled, and next instant, his fist suddenly opened, and a ball of thunder shot out of it.

"Crackle!"

Tia was definitely caught off guard. And, her body was jolted by the strong current, and she was sent flying away. It was obvious that she was injured, but it still wasn't enough to eliminate her. This even surprised Melan. He was definitely sure that any normal person at her level would definitely be half dead after getting hit by that compressed ball of thunder.

It could only mean that Tia's body was way stronger than any normal person.

Melan suddenly shifted his gaze towards the guy from the West Gale, and next instant, shot a thunder wave towards him as well. Even though the guy tried his best to avoid it, he was still sent flying away and his body was immediately covered in a white light.

It was not so surprising that he was eliminated in one hit. After all, the body was definitely not a strong point of Beast Tamers. To be honest, it could even be recalled as a weak point. On the other hand, their mental capacity was insanely strong.

With one annoying guy gone, it was time for Melan to send the other one out as well. But, the next second, his face changed, and he immediately ducked down.

"Bang!"

Two figures clashed right above his head, and then disappeared before clashing into the distance again.

"Damn! These guys are really monsters…" Melan cursed under his breath. Even with his breakthrough, he wasn't very confident in beating them. It was more likely that he would get his ass handed over.

As he was feeling relieved to have avoided the disaster, a shadow was suddenly casted over him.

'Sh*t!'

He knew he had messed up.

His body hurriedly turned around, but he was still too late to bring his arms around and properly defend himself.

"Bang!"

"Crack!"

A fist landed onto Melan's chest, and a cracking noise came from his bones. He felt a sweetness rushing up his throat as his body was sent flying through the air.

Tia panted deeply as she stood there with her fist raised in the air. She was bleeding from the corner of her mouth. But, it seemed that she still had some fight left in her. Melan had still underestimated this girl's physique. She was practically a monster to still have this much power after taking his earlier attack head on.

"Bang!"

On the other side, Melan finally stabilized himself, and managed to get his footing back.

"Cough! Cough!"

Blood came out of his mouth as he coughed.

"My luck is really rotten.." He slowly wiped his lips, and stood back up with a painful look on his face. His chest was really hurting.

'What a monster…' He thought inwardly while looking at Tia.

"Boom!"

At this moment, a loud explosion occurred up in the sky. As fire and water crashed into each other creating huge amounts of water vapors.

The next instant, two figures separated from the cloud of vapors and crashed onto the group on either side.

It was Faryl and August.

Two of them were in a miserable state with injuries all over, and their mana almost exhausted. But, it was also obvious that there was no result in this fight. The two seemed to be evenly matched.

At this moment, the battlefield began to change, and everyone stopped as a sandstorm began, and the whole desert began to quake.

There was only one person who was capable of doing something like this.

It seemed that this was going to be the final battle field for the Competition.
