"The rest is history, my Lord.", Julius looked into the eyes of the Lord and smiled bitterly.

Knowing that the butler had hidden a few things from him, Alexander didn't persuade him to speak.

He knew that it was not the authority for the butler to speak, yet he decided to give a brief instance about it which was enough.

"You may leave.", he ordered.

Julius nodded obediently and left the room as he knew the Lord needed space for himself. He understood how the Lord must be feeling at the moment. The Lord suffered a great injustice and wished that he could provide justice to himself and his deceased parents. After narrating the brief story, he stopped. He wanted the Lord to figure out things all on his own. He knew the whole story, yet decided to stop in between. It was high time for the Lord to find his true identity out.

As the butler stepped out of his room, the strong Alexander who has mastered the art of hiding emotions, felt at loss. He abruptly sat on his chair and held his head with both his hands. Everything in his mind was a complete mess right now.

'Why did she die?'

'Who killed her?'

'Why didn't father marry my mother?'

'Why didn't I ever see her once?'

'Why my identity is kept a secret?'

'Why didn't father told about her once?'

All these questions caused wildfire in his head. His head started to hurt. All of a sudden, an idea struck his mind. It was the only way to find the answers to his striking questions. He called the butler. Within minutes, the butler rushed to the Lord's room.

"I need you to arrange something for me.", Alexander spoke.

After narrating the whole plan to the butler, he stood up and headed towards the bathroom.

It was time to have a cold shower to relax.

As Julius saw the distancing figure, a wide smile of happiness appeared on his face.

He stepped out of the room and started making necessary arrangements.

A parchment was given to the Duke of Brookville, Duke Isaac, which had all the information about the plan. Meanwhile, Margaret along with her father reached their villa.

.........................

Land of Ostbarrow.

Lord Gerard was in his study. While going through the files, which were piled up on the desk, a knock was heard.

"Come in." his eyes fixed on the file.

"My greetings to the Lord. ", Richard, the Duke bowed his head.

"Likewise. Is there something bothering you Richard?", Gerard enquired.

"No Master. I received a parchment from the King of Brookville, Lord Alexander. He wishes to visit Ostbarrow. Here's the letter.", Richard spoke as he handed the piece of parchment to Lord Gerard.

"I see... Is there something else to say?"

"No master, I'll take my leave. Have a nice day.", Richard bowed and left the study.

The stern expression on the Lord's face was replaced by a gentle one. A gentle smile curved his lips archly.

Opening the letter,

Dear Lord Gerard,

I am writing to you to inform you that I wish to visit the Land of Ostbarrow on the fourth day of next month. I wish to discuss the relations between the Land of Brookville and Land of Ostbarrow.

Looking forward to the meeting.

Lord Alexander

Brookville

While reading the letter, not even once the smile on his faded away. He really wished to see the King. He adored his friend's son. But deep within, he knew that he had to face the reality. He could no longer keep the secret from him. Realizing that only 7 days were left for the meeting, he asked the butler to make necessary arrangements. He felt warmth in his heart. He was excited and was looking forward to meeting the Lord who once used play with him when he small. He was like his son. The maids were ordered to clean the castle every day perfectly, the Chefs were asked to prepare the menu for the luncheon, the gardener was asked to maintain the garden, the security doubled.

A grand parade was asked to be conducted to welcome and pay respect to the great king.

Lastly, the White witch army was asked to cast a protective spell all over the castle to avoid dangers that might lurk around Lord Alexander.

Keeping in everything in mind, Lord Gerard listed out every possible amenity which may come in use for Lord Alexander. He had asked his butler to prepare a room for Lord Alexander and asked him to get the room prepared by five days. He planned to visit the room once it was well furnished and equipped. He was very excited to meet him.

In Brookville, the Lord marked his calendar.

He eagerly waited for the day to come. But by the passing minute, it felt like a century.

Finally, the answers were waiting to be answered.

Rowena was a white witch, had extraordinary powers. She led the army which meant the Lord of Ostbarrow knew her. And being a close friend of his father, he ought to have answers to his stirring questions.

Holding on to the portrait, he opened it carefully.

No one could describe the stirring feelings in his heart. It was a mix of eagerness, yearning, emptiness, love and impatience. His heart paced with each passing second.

But he had to wait.
