Episode 7: I Tried to Register The School Saint Who Raises A Strange Voice As A Friend

“Oh, but… I’m not friends with you. Wouldn’t that be a problem if you got asked?”

Sai-san took out her phone and said.

She’s right. That was also true.

The story didn’t add up.

“Ah… well. Then, let’s register as friends in PIBG.”

We pulled out our phones and started up PIBG. It’s been a while since I’ve used it, so I started to forget how to use it, but I managed to finish adding her as a friend.

When I looked at Itsuki-san’s profile, I saw that we were about the same level, which was just fine. However, her avatar’s equipment was that of a heavily charged person. She was equipped with a very rare skin, while my avatar was wearing clothes that I collected from free rewards.

I wonder if she has a rich family. Or maybe she has so few friends that she has no other use for her allowance. I didn’t want to say anything because she might get angry again if I were to say something like this.

By the way, my phone’s notification box was bombarded with LINE notifications. LINE is a messaging app that allows you to make personal calls, exchange messages, and even have group chats.

I quietly opened it so she wouldn’t see me, and the class group was talking about how I had been taken by Itsuki Sana.

(Wow… This is bad.)

There was no reply from me, and I had skipped lessons, which seems to have caused their imagination to run wild.
Sakuma Kazuharu, my best friend, also sent me vulgar things such as “Are you alive!? Or are you having s*x with Itsuki Sana!??” In a personal chat. I just replied, “Die.”

The reason why I was suddenly asked about something like ‘s*x’ was understandable when I saw the class group chat. On my side, I had been taken to the gym by Itsuki-san, and we were having fun together.

I wanted to say, “Don’t be silly.”

I was being cursed at and almost made to jump. No, it was my own decision to climb up the wire fence.

For this one, the game might just be a good excuse too.

“Also…”

I’m not sure what it is, but Itsuki-san suddenly started to squirm. It was cute.

“What?”

“LIME.”

“Huh? What about LIME?”

Oh no, did she see my group talk earlier? I wondered, but she said something I didn’t expect.

“Tell me about your LIME ID, Kaoru-kun.”

“My LIME ID? Why?”

“Well, it’s… You see, if we don’t share information, we might have a difference of opinion.”

“Oh, sure. That’s true, too. Let’s exchange then.”

I didn’t understand what she was saying, so we went ahead and added each other as friends on LIME. Her profile icon was a dolphin mascot. We sent each other a request and confirmed the addition.

(This is really amazing, though.)

The idea of exchanging LIMEs with Itsuki Sana, the quarter blonde saint who is an unprecedentedly beautiful girl, is surely something that would be envied by all the students in the school. But now, I don’t see that wonder at all, or rather, I see her as a disappointment because I have a fixed image of the unprecedentedly beautiful girl as a girl who screams and snaps.

I don’t know why, but I can’t believe that the Itsuki Sana that existed in my mind before and the Itsuki Sana that is in front of me now are the same person.

Also, she was contentedly playing with her phone. Maybe she really doesn’t have any friends and is happy to have someone like me added to her friend list.

I mean, isn’t this already like a normal friendship.
