Kenzo already spoke to Renzel about what happened and the maid didn't want to speak but she was shaking and was worried about Victoria. So, he had the Emperor search for it. Since they already hacked the Mansion, they have a camera in the foyer where it happened. His heart ached seeing how Victoria was bullied by the trio and how her father slapped her hard although she was fighting back. Then, she was pushed hard after she pushed Katarina and hit the vase table as her head hit hard the marble floor.

His eyes were raging and his whole body was shaking. Secretary Bryan took it from her.

"Calm yourself." Secretary Bryan said. "I am already processing things. Lady Victoria will be delivered to her room."

Renzel was watching them murmuring all this time. He already had a hint. If Kenzo is the Duke and Victoria is a Duchess of Etrama it only means that his family bullied a guy that they should never bully. He watched as Kenzo left and Secretary Bryan faced them.

"I'm Lord Kenzo's secretary, Mr. Renzel Parson. Two minutes ago, your Uncle was picked up by the authorities after abusing Lady Victoria and locking her in the mansion against her will." Secretary Bryan said.

"Who is Kenzo?" Renzel asked and Secretary Bryan was confused. But he pursed his lips once he understood and answered.

"Lord Kenzo is Lady Victoria's husband. Don't worry, Mr. Renzel Parson. This won't go to the media unless Lord Kenzo was triggered. We don't want to make Lady Regina worried too much. It is what Lady Victoria would want." He bowed his head and left.

He went to the VIP room. Seeing the pain from Kenzo's eyes went back to the time that he lost his parents the same night. He knew that Kenzo would be in more pain if his wife was hurt. No one wouldn't want to lose someone they love.

"Lord Kenzo," Secretary Bryan approached him. "There's no internal bleeding or blood clots. The hemorrhage might have caused her nausea, headaches…"

"She has to be well," Kenzo said. "Call all specialists by tomorrow." He said as he stood and caressed his wife's face. His heart ached at the still swollen cheek. "I never lay a hand on my wife but they did. This time, they almost killed her. They are lucky that they didn't. Or I'll kill them all."

"Lord Kenzo, Lady Regina is in the same hospital. Do you want to visit her?"

"No." He shook his head. "I don't want her to know what happened to Victoria. I am sure that she'll get stressed again and fall sick. Victoria will be devastated."

"Yes, sir."

He went to the door and opened it as Victoria's assistant, Pauline, had their clothes and fruits. The VIP room already has a coffee maker capsule and Kenzo won't sleep unless his wife is feeling well. Secretary Bryan and Assistant Pauline set up their clothes in the closet and filled up the small fridge.

Secretary Bryan and Pauline left quietly after setting their things. Then, Kenzo finally removed his shoes and climbed up on the bed. He snuggled to his wife's right side and kissed her chest.

"I'm sorry, love." He said softly.

The time that Stacey heard about the assault of the trio, she nearly rushed to their mansion and trash-talked them. But she prioritized Victoria. It was early in the morning when she reached the hospital and saw Lady Regina in her wheelchair.

"Stacey," The old woman called. She smiled and bowed to her. "What are you doing here?"

Stacey was silent for a while as she glanced at Secretary Yazmin.

"I am visiting someone." She answered.

"Who?" The old Baroness asked again and she's not a good liar. She understands that Lady Regina didn't know what happened. But soon, she'll know.

"Victoria is in the hospital." A man spoke behind her as Renzel patted Stacey's back.

"What?" Regina creased her brows.

"I'm sorry, grandma. Please calm yourself. She's fine now."

"What happened?" Regina exclaimed.

"Grandma," Renzel reached her hands. "You have to calm yourself, okay? Victoria will be devastated if you fall ill again."

Regina rubbed her chest as she slowly breathed and calmed herself.

"Do you want to see her?" Renzel asked.

"Of course! She's my granddaughter!"

Stacey was a little nervous that something bad would happen to Lady Regina. They went to the VVIP room and Lady Regina didn't even mind it. She's sure that Kenzo would do everything to protect her granddaughter. Stacey on the other hand knew well why Victoria was in the VVIP room.

The security outside checked them and they confirmed from Kenzo that they could enter. The time that they reached inside the big VVIP room, Stacey's heart clenched seeing her best friend. She's lying on the King's bed with apparatus on her body. Kenzo, on the other hand, looked stressed, worried, and very much sleepless.

"Grandma, Stacey," Kenzo stood quickly and greeted them. Lady Regina stood as Kenzo helped her up.

"What happened?" Lady Regina asked and hugged Kenzo.

Kenzo didn't answer as he looked at Renzel and Yazmin who didn't speak anything about it.

"My poor granddaughter," Regina mumbled as she tried to hold back her tears. Kenzo carefully took her to bed as Regina sat on the bed to reach her granddaughter's hand.

"It's a mild concussion and she doesn't have any massive injury."

Regina stared at her granddaughter and noticed her swollen cheeks.

"Who did this?" Regina asked grimly. "Did Bailey do this?" Regina looked at Renzel sharply as Renzel bowed his head.

"I'm sorry grandma. I only found out after Ezekiel was called to the house. They refuse to take Victoria to the hospital."

"Where is he now?"

"Behind bars," Kenzo said and stood on the other side of the bed and reached his wife's hand. "What he did to my wife is a threat to my Empire. And so, I will cut their ties."

"I can't blame you, Kenzo," Regina said softly and caressed her granddaughter's hand. "Do what is suited for her safety. I couldn't protect her well. It's not her fault that I took her away from her mother. I was meant to protect them both."

Renzel didn't ask any questions with regards to Victoria's identity. But he now knew that Victoria was someone else's daughter.

"And where do you think her mother was?" Kenzo asked.

"Somewhere safe. That's what I promised her."

Kenzo carefully caressed his knuckles to Victoria's swollen cheek.

"I hope that she's fine and will meet Victoria. It is what I at least want to happen." Regina mumbled. "Renzel, take care of the family matters. Call your father and replace your Uncle for a while. If you see something that doesn't fit, tell me."

"Yes, grandma."

Renzel bowed and left. Stacey approached Kenzo and sighed.

"Damn, lots of unlucky things kept happening." She mumbled.

"I'm sorry, Stacey. That I couldn't protect her well."

"No. Don't be sorry. You did everything to protect her."

There were five great lawyers with them to help Bailey out of jail since last night. The police were already questioning the people inside the mansion and Jenny, who was taking care of Victoria, didn't say a single word. It's nine in the morning and a police officer approached her.

"It's Baroness Regina Parson."

Jenny quickly took the phone and as her hands were shaking a little bit.

"Milady!"

"Tell them what happened. Tell everything."

"B~But…"

"My son nearly killed his daughter. I won't tolerate anything now."

"Yes, Milady."

Regina hung up on the other line and she gave the phone back to the officer.

"I'm going to tell you what happened."

The investigation started as Jenny gave the statement and told all of the truth. In the other room, Bailey starts questioning again and they listen to Jenny's statement. Although the police had footage, they didn't use it against them. They might be charged with tampering. Since Jenny said it precisely and accurately, they don't need the footage against them anymore.

At the moment, Bailey couldn't speak as he scratched on his right palm, under the table, feeling uncomfortable. He's been shaking ever since the time that he thought that he nearly killed Victoria and the time thought that he nearly killed Vivien in his own hands came to him. Seeing Victoria lying unconscious on the floor was a trick. Instead of Victoria's face, he saw Vivien's face. He knew that she's dead. That's what Dana said. The car had an accident and sank in the river after taking a million fortune.

"Mr. Parson, what would you say?" The investigator asked. "You nearly killed your daughter and tricked her to go there because you thought that she's the one who escalated a scandal with your other daughter and her fiance?"

Bailey calmed himself.

"I don't know what you are talking about."

"The maid already said that your wife commanded her to call Lady Victoria that her grandmother is ill and in the mansion! The Baroness already released a statement. This won't come out of the media… and if you want, you can speak to the husband."

"What could her husband do, possibly?"

"You see, Mr. Parson. We are solving this case as soon as possible. Lady Victoria's husband is also a citizen."

Bailey listened to the investigator as he explained about civil rights and whatsoever. He knew all of it. He's an aristocrat and it seems like he can't even pay them.. Kenzo was making sure that he'll be punished and even his mother isn't saving him.
