Kaisley didn't have an idea of who she was. However, after taking the name of Etrama, she somehow felt that everything was right. Her intuition is something that she shouldn't ignore. But she felt like someone was talking about her. She sneezed many times.
"Are you sick, babe?" Caleb asked and rubbed her shoulders.
"No." She smiled at him. "Are we leaving without them?"
"Well, Kenzo will have to go first. They have a meeting." Caleb said as he left a few of his things. "I will just leave these two pieces of clothes. I'll come back next month." He told Butler Reinheart.
"Yes, of course, my Lord." The man smiled. "It's good that you would leave a few of your clothes and sizes. Lady E wanted to shop for all of you."
"Wow, she's a dream mom," Caleb said. "Thank you for your help, Sir Reinheart."
"You are always welcome." The Butler said sincerely as he bowed, then he shortly approached the door and left.
Kaisley smiled at Caleb who was busy sorting out the things that he messed up.
"Charger, uh… phone." He checked his bag and documents.
"Are you sure that you don't want me to arrange that?"
"No, babe. You are tired from last night. You didn't even have any sleep."
"I'm fine." She said as she crawled on the bed.
"Just tell me if your lower part aches."
"Cal, I'm fine." She giggled.
He winked at her and finally arranged everything that he needed. Then, he approached her on the bed and kissed her forehead.
"So, are you up for lovemaking before we leave?" he grinned.
Her cheeks heated up and she pushed his face. She never got disappointed by his jokes and his funny words. That's why she kept falling in love with him. She was about to participate but a knock on the door made them stop. She quickly slipped off from the bed and reached the doorknob. She peeked at the person outside. It's Kenzo.
"Kenz," She was surprised that Kenzo was outside the door so she opened it wide. He entered and he gently closed the door.
"Well, since you are my Aunt… after grandpa adopted you…"
"Actually… it's just a name." She giggled.
"This is for you." Kenzo extended the green box. "It's emerald."
She was confused but she opened it and gasped. The amulet isn't a big joke. It looks heavy together with the earrings, bracelet, and ring.
"This is the family heirloom from the side of my Grandfather-uncle."
"But~~are you sure about this?"
Kenzo chuckled.
"As long as you won't sell it."
She giggled and looked up at him with those tearful eyes.
"It's yours, Kaisley. It was meant for you." Kenzo said softly.
"I will make sure that this is safe."
"You have to wear it too." Kenzo chuckled and glanced at Caleb who pressed his lips to avoid getting emotional. "Besides, we are family and you are an exclusive Etrama."
"Thank you. I suddenly feel home from your words."
"You are home," Kenzo said meaningfully. But Kaisley didn't take it that much. She closed it and hugged Kenzo.
Kenzo squeezed her a little and patted her back. Then, Caleb approached them and gave Kenzo a big hug.
"Thank you for taking my Kaisley into your family."
"She is family, Cal," Kenzo said softly and patted his back. "We'll be a real family soon. Once the two of you are married."
"Great. I can't wait."
"And you would never hurt her." Kenzo glared at him.
"Pfft! Why would I?!" Caleb hugged Kaisley from behind. "Okay, you should leave now. I'll make her wear it and do naughty things."
Kenzo burst into laughter while Kaisley nudged her fiance.
"By the way, party in Kaisley's castle next week Sunday."
"Yeah, we will be there," Kenzo said and reached the doorknob. "Enjoy the gems." He teased and shut the door gently.
Kaisley turned to Caleb who took the box.
"Let me put it on you."
She nodded at him as she let him take her to bed. Caleb opened it and put the necklace first. Then, the earrings on her gently.
"This looks perfect on you," Caleb added.
"Really?" Kaisley wasn't used to very expensive gems around her neck, on her ears, on her fingers, and her wrist.
"See?" he kissed her forehead. "You deserve these. I'll buy more of it."
The couple ended up making love.
After Kenzo and Victoria reached their castle, Victoria quickly went to her room to sleep since she's been dizzy. She didn't get to sleep and her body was collapsing. Soon after, her husband joined her and snuggled with her. She felt warm. They both deserve a good sleep. She was sleeping peacefully, that's what she thought. But suddenly, her husband started calling her name and panicking.
She only opened her eyelids for a little while and found them walking back and forth and a man checking up on her. She doesn't understand what's going on. But her husband seemed to be too worried. She sleeps again as she feels very tired. Her body felt hot and she couldn't move.
"Love," Kenzo called.
She slowly opened her eyes and tried to smile at her but she's unable to stretch the muscles on her face. It felt like her lips were dry and so was her mouth.
"Are you thirsty?"
She wonders why he's worried. He slowly sat her up and placed a few more pillows behind her. Her body felt heavy.
"Wh-what's going on?"
"You have a very high fever," Kenzo said.
"Hmm,"
"You've been sleeping for twelve hours."
"I want to pee."
He nodded and removed the dextrose from the stand.
"Can you raise your hand?"
She slowly raised her right hand and held the IV bag. Then, he pushed the covers and took her to the bathroom. Her eyes felt heavy and she wanted to go back to sleep. She stood and he held up the IV bag. He turned back to give her privacy. She sighed after letting all it out. She reached the tissue… After a few moments, he took her back to bed and gave her a glass of water with a silver straw. She sipped on it as the water refreshed her.
"So, why do I have dextrose?"
"I was so worried. You are over fatigue and..."
"You might get caught with my fever. Go and sleep in your room. I'll just sleep and go back to my dream."
"Oh, come on! I am better than your dream." Kenzo sat beside her and kissed her forehead. "Your temperature was so high and I was so worried."
"Sorry, love." She pursed her lips. She doesn't want to be a burden to him but she loves the care and attention that he was giving.
"Oh," He chuckled. "Don't make that cute face. I love you, even if you won't do that."
"But you'll love me more with my cute face." She mumbled.
He kissed her forehead hard.
"I check on the soup. Okay? Stay here."
"Where could I possibly go?" She chuckled. He laughed and left quickly. She sipped again on the water. She looked at her pale skin and then outside. It's dark and they said that she's been sleeping for twelve hours and she wonders why she has a good sleep but still feels tired.
After a few moments, Kenzo came with the soup. It took that long for him to make the soup with side dishes. She nearly fell asleep but she waited for him and watched television for a while. She's slowly regaining her strength and the thought of Stacey.
"How's Stacey?"
"She's fine," Kenzo said and set up the table tray.
"Okay," Victoria still felt worried.
"Babe!" He exclaimed. "Stop thinking of others. You are tired and you need to relax. Okay?" He exhaled softly and sat down on the bed beside her.
"You are tired too."
"I am. I am worried about you. So, please… stop worrying about others."
"Okay," She said while bouncing her head a little bit to agree with him. Then, she reached for the spoon, scoop the soup, blew it to cool it, and sipped on it. She hummed and continued with her food. "You want some?"
He only smiled.
"We'll sleep after this. Okay?" She promised him.
"Hmm,"
"How about dinner? Did you have dinner?"
He stopped. That's when she knew the answer from his face.
"See? You can't take care of yourself too. Join me."
He nodded and took the fork and ate the side dishes. It's also a good thing that he has the casserole with him. He put more on her bowl and didn't care if it was full and he ate on the casserole as the couple enjoyed a simple dinner.
"So, how's Stacey in the castle?"
"Mave said that she's getting used to it. We talked a lot a while ago and you were sleeping so deep. You completely ignored me."
Victoria only giggled.
"So, Mave said that he set up a room for the two of them. He doesn't want her to think differently but he set up a bedroom for her which is also her workplace. Like I did here, in your room."
She nodded at him.
"Then, Mave asked me about the proposal."
Victoria stopped eating and blinked.
"Love, this is a secret. Okay? You can't tell Stacey anything about the proposal."
"Damn,"
"But how about the case with Kennedy?"
"Love, Mave is savage," Kenzo said exaggeratedly. "He castrated them."
