Chapter 189: Drugged

Kane quickly rushed him to a private hospital and also requested a VIP room.
Hardin was moaning in pain and the drug that he might have taken was an ecstasy pill. He doesn't know what kind of pill it was but he needs to have a drug test and have it detox. But since he requested not to tell his parents, it's hard for him to decide. The doctor is checking on him and they put dextrose on him. He also explained that they were at the club and he might have drunk something.
He watched as the doctor checked on his vitals and everything and he signed a few papers and also requested to shut their mouth. Then, Hardin was sent to the VIP room and when his father started calling him, he hesitated to answer.
"No. Don't tell Dad," Hardin grumbled.
"What do I get if I lied to your father?"
"Anything."
Kane smirked and approached him. He recorded Hardin's face and bent down.
"What do I get if I lied to your dad?"
"Anything! I'll give you anything."
"Okay, done. I want your sister."
"What?" He looked drowsy. "Harriet? She's just a little girl." He mumbled.
"I love your sister and you won't probably remember this after you pass out."
"Okay…" he grumbled and fell asleep. He stopped the recording and exhaled. Now, Harriet has to wait and the result will be in a few hours.
He removed Hardin's shoes and socks, also his coat and shirt. He sponges baths the guy so he would feel refreshed. Then, he put on the hospital clothes, and finally, he removed his pants and tucked him in. A pretty nurse came and Kane checked the drug that he had with her. He then sat down and checked his phone. Unfortunately, he must delay going to Harriet. After the nurse left, he glared at Hardin.
"You spoiled brat. Why do you have to drink something like this? Your sister is angry at me and now, I have to babysit you. If I didn't come back quickly, I don't know what else would happen to you." He pressed the spot between his brows and thought about Harriet. He knew that she hated him after she heard about Sophia. But he swore that he wasn't flirting with Lady Sophia Andres.
His phone started ringing and so he answered it quickly.
"Yes, sir?"
"Are you with Hardin?" The Marquess asked.
"Yes, sir." He glared at Hardin.
"I got worried when the two of you didn't come home."
"We are fine sir."
"As long as you are with him. I have to visit my wife at Westeria so watch over Hardin for me."
"I will, sir."
Hardin's father hung up and he threw the pillow to Hardin that landed on Hardin's side.
"You brat. How dare you make me your babysitter. Now, I can't visit your sister."
Harriet expected Kane to come to her as soon as possible but, in the morning, her father came to visit the Duke. She felt betrayed when he didn't come. Plus, her phone was a wreck and she couldn't turn it on. She was pouting so much that she didn't notice that Victoria was already in front of her.
"Your dad is here, what's there to pout?" Victoria asked and Harriet glanced at her father and the Duke who was striding toward the maze garden.
"I broke my phone," Harriet mumbled.

"I was angry at Kane after I heard his ex-girlfriend. The Daughter of Viscount Andres."

It will be a lot of fun for us to have a little party. Kaisley and Caleb at this moment were too busy at work and in the Royal Castle." She sighed. "So, take my phone and call him." She pushed her phone to Harriet.
Harriet reached it and dialed Kane's number. It was ringing and after a few rings, he answered.
"Hello?"
"Hey, did you have fun last night?" Harriet asked coldly.
"Harriet?" Kane then became silent. "It wasn't fun at all. I was about to go there but there's an emergency. By the way, I have your new phone."
"How can I retrieve my photos and memories?" She pouted as she slumped on the table and had the phone over her ear.
"I can check the phone. Didn't you save it to your cloud storage?" She was happy with how sexy his voice was.
"I had saved some."
"You should at least have it saved in your Cloud storage," Kane mumbled.
"Where are you? Why can't you come?"
"I thought you hated me." Kane teased.
"I do. But it doesn't mean that you have to snob me."

"You just missed him." Victoria teased and giggled. "I'm going to help mom with the lunch." She stood and approached her mother who was currently busy.
In the afternoon, the Duke and Duchess of Marduque arrived with two maids and three butlers. She was very much happy seeing Stacey in a long dress, four inches above her ankle. It's one way to hide her bump from them since she doesn't want to be bloated every time.
"You look beautiful," Victoria exclaimed.
"Thanks, Duchess." The best friends hugged each other.
The time that Hardin woke up after sleeping for twelve hours, Kane quickly had him discharged. The drug inside his body is only a small amount and they will continue the detox for the following hours back in the house. He pushed the wheelchair on the way to the parking lot. Hardin held his hand and pouted at him like a little boy.
"What happened last night?"
"You make out with every person in the club."
"Eww!" he exclaimed. "I want to be tested right now."

Since Hardin owed him a lot, he listened to Kane until they reached the parking lot. He sat in the shotgun seat and closed his eyes. Then, Kane kindly gave the wheelchair to the security in the parking lot. He then hopped in the car, started the engine, and drove off.
"Can we get coffee?" Hardin asked.
"Yeah," Kane answered. Then, he glanced at Hardin who started searching for sunglasses. He checked the pocket at Kane's backseat and reached it.
"What is that?" Hardin asked.
"It's not for you so don't ask."
"Why are you so annoyed?" Hardin hissed at Kane. "Do you have your period?"
"I have been annoyed since last night. And no, men don't have periods."
"Okay," Hardin shrugged it off until they reached the house. Kane took him to his room and prepared a hot bath, and had the maids ready his food.
"You need to rest and you can't work out until tomorrow," Kane said. "I have to go."
"Where are you going?" Hardin asked while he's stripping his clothes.
"I have a life too, Hardin. I can't babysit you all day."
Hardin frowned and crossed his arms.
"Seriously, dude. What's wrong?"
Kane exhaled.
"Remember that we had a contract last night?"
"What contract?"
"I recorded it. I didn't tell your dad or mom about your situation."
"And how about the drug?" Hardin asked. "I will get killed if dad knows about the drug."
"I'll investigate it. For now, you have to take a bath, eat and sleep." Kane said coldly.
"And the gift? Is it for your other girl?" He grinned.
Kane didn't answer him and he moved closer to the door of the bathroom and closed it. He then left Hardin's room and the maids who were waiting outside bowed to him.
"He still has a hangover from last night. Please check over his health." He told them.

Now, it's time to investigate the club.. But first, he wanted to bathe and maybe call Harriet tonight.
