Chapter 194: Happy Stalls

One afternoon, Victoria and Kenzo disguised themselves as normal citizens to check out the stalls and eat delicious foods. Harriet, Kane, and Hardin also tagged along while Maverick, Stacey, Kaisley, and Caleb went in a different direction.
"What's that?" Victoria asked and pointed to the stalls that were making what seemed to be a pancake sandwich.
"I don't know what it's called but we can try it," Kenzo said and took her to the stall. He took out a bill from his pocket and they fell in line. The trio, Hardin, Kane, and Harriet went to a different stall.
Kenzo looked around to check if there are possible people that might hurt them. But since he's with two agents that are tagging along they are also disguised.
"It smells good," Victoria mumbled.
"I can make it for you back home."
"Sure." She grinned. "It seemed to be mixed with a lot of cheese." She mumbled. "Are those bacon?" She sniffled.
"Yeah," He grinned and patted her head. "Why are you so hungry?"
It's now their turn and he ordered whatever she liked. Victoria took out her phone and filmed how they made it. She bit her lips as her mouth watered. She didn't care if it was a little greasy. He ordered enough for all of them while the three were ordering drinks. After ordering, they went to the spot in the park and ate there. Victoria was humming and bouncing her head as the pancake was made as bread.
"This is good too," Kenzo said and extended the long sandwich filled with meat, cheese, onions, and lettuce. She took a big bite and hummed.
"Do you like your drink, Vi?" Hardin asked. He was the one who was specially picked for it.
"Yes, thanks, bro."
Hardin nodded and glared at Harriet who was taking care of Kane by feeding him. He couldn't accept yet that they are a couple but none of them reveal it.
"You want to try this?" Harriet asked him that made him almost pout that finally, his baby sister saw him. He takes a bite on the different variations of food that Kenzo ordered. "It's spicy."
"It's good," Hardin said and stood as he pushed Kane aside to sit between them.
"You are completely a killjoy, Hardin. Next time drag some decent lady whenever we have a gathering like this so you won't be left out."
Hardin laughed and shook his head. He gave Victoria a boring look.
"There's no decent woman that I know except you, Kaisley, Stacey, and my sister… also my mother."
"Hmm, that's quite a big word." Victoria shrugged. "This is the reason why you still don't have a girlfriend. Every woman has their naughty side."
"But he's telling the truth," Harriet said. "They were in the club when he was d~~" Hardin covered her mouth quickly and Kane also rushed to Harriet's side to cover her eyes.
"Oh, that's a big secret," Kenzo smirked. "Blurt it out."
"No." Hardin shook his head.
"Blurt it out!" Victoria exclaimed and Harriet pushed Kane and Hardin's hand and glared at them. She started hitting Kane as Kane quickly hugged her.
"It's confidential," Hardin said and flushed. He doesn't want to tell them. "Alright, I'll tell you later."
"Vi!" Stacey called out and they turned their heads to find Maverick's men holding a lot of paper bags from each stall. Maverick put a jacket over the seat for Stacey and he took the portable fan and faced it to her. He sat down and gave her a drink.
"So, what did you guys buy?"
"This sandwich is amazing." Victoria extended her food to Stacey as they shared it.
"It's good," Stacey said and took a tissue from her purse and wiped her mouth. "I ate a lot along the way here." She mumbled.
"I thought that I had to buy each stall here," Maverick said to joke about her. Stacey nudged him as her husband laughed.
"Where are Kaisley and Caleb?" Harriet asked.
"They went to play at the amusement park," Maverick answered. Shortly, Caleb and Kaisley arrived with a big teddy bear that Caleb probably had won.
Caleb even raised it to them.
"I won this on firing." He said.
Kaisley laughed and smacked his back.
"Hey, I won that for you," Kaisley said and crossed her arms.
"Are you guys for real?" Harriet asked.
"I won it." Kaisley nodded her head, acting a little arrogant.
"We should go." Harriet smacked Kane's arm.
"You have a lot of stuffed toys in your room. Kane can't possibly win the biggest one." Hardin said arrogantly that made Kane smirked.
"We should go after we eat," Victoria said and looked at her husband. "You can win anything. I don't mind small things." She grinned at him. Her husband smiled and rubbed her back as he bent down and moved his lips to her ear.
"We can do that big thing tonight." He whispered. "I will treat you better."
She flushed and smacked his arm. Everyone snorted.
"Hey, if the two of you are planning for that thing. I think you should get a room. There's a nearby motel here." Kaisley said aloud that made them laugh. Victoria was a little embarrassed but they were already used to it.
"I don't want a motel," Kenzo said and adjusted closer to her.
"Are you sure?" Caleb teased as Maverick laughed out loud. "We can book a nearby hotel."
"Guys, I said I don't want a motel. The castle is nearby. Remember?" Kenzo grinned to go on with the teasing. They laughed a lot and teased each other further.
As time passed by, they went to the amusement park. Harriet quickly pulled Kane to one of the stalls that have the biggest teddy bear. Bigger than what Kaisley and Caleb had. At that time, Hardin and Kane simply challenged each other. Harriet didn't know who to cheer for but she cheered for both of them. Anyway, if one didn't get what she wanted, the other one might.
But the two won and were given different teddy bears. They somehow didn't get the biggest but she didn't mind when Kane gave the purple one more than half of her size while Hardin was glaring at Kane. So instead of giving it to Harriet, he gave it to Stacey.
"It's my gift for the baby," Hardin said that surprised Stacey.
"Someone's jealous," Caleb grumbled.
"That's because my little sister has a lot of teddy bears in her room," Hardin told Caleb with a straight face. "Look at her being spoiled by someone else."
"Don't worry, I'll spoil you later," Kane said to tease him.
"Yeah sure." Hardin glanced at her sister who had those daggering eyes. It quickly sent chills through his body and he quickly hid behind Caleb. But one thing that made him annoyed is when Kane put his arms around her as they went to another stall of games.
Maverick and Stacey prefer to sit on the bench since she's feeling a little tired.
"Do you want to leave?" Maverick asked and took another fan and pointed it to her.
"No. I'm fine. They are having fun." She smiled at him beautifully. Maverick wrapped his right arms around her while holding the fan and then he gently rubbed her small bump.
"Did you have fun too? Do you want me to give you something as your prize?"
"How about the biggest teddy bear?" She grinned at him.
"Are you trying to check on my limit? I won the horseback archery for you."
"Babe, I only want another souvenir instead of a trophy." She grinned. "You can do it, right?"
"Hey, stop teasing me." He kissed her lips passionately and she kissed back. "Okay, I'll get that one for you."
He stood and gave the fan to her. Then, the bodyguard took one foldable chair and took her to the stall, and chose archery.
"How many shots for the biggest bear?" Maverick asked.
"100 straight shots my lord." The vendor said who didn't recognize Maverick. He called every one, lord or milady.
"Okay, give me a hundred arrows."
The man quickly took a hundred arrows that he's been saving.
"It also has a timer, my lord." The man said. "Ten minutes for a hundred arrows."
"Okay," Maverick said.
"Love, that's too much," Stacey said who was sitting behind him.
"It's fine, love. You don't think that I could get that biggest teddy bear, huh?"
"Well," Stacey shrugged. "I was just worried that you got your arms strained or something."
Maverick kissed her lips and he stepped back. He put it on his side over the small table to elevate it. Then, he nodded at the man and pressed the timer button. He started pulling the string with the arrow and hit each spot starting from the lowest. Stacey was filming it from the very start and she gaped after he released twenty without resting and without missing any spot.
In less than ten minutes with a minute break, he filled all of the hundred boards with arrows. The stall owner bowed to him and clapped his hands.
"Can we take a photo together, my lord, with this biggest teddy bear?"
"Of course, I will have my wife with me."
Without the man knowing, he's taking a photo with the Duke and Duchess of Marduque.
