Chapter 42: Act Of Harassment

Everyone was busy with the event on this day. She sat down as she exhaled. She got this. The officers are off for the big event and she'll be left alone. The door opened and as she looked up at the man who entered. She stood from her seat.
"I'm here to take the flash drive." Jacob seemed to be in a rush. She only nodded as she went to the cabinet to get the highlighter. But she froze when Jacob hugged her from behind. It felt like her body started shaking as he hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry, just one hug." He mumbled as his hand went to her breast and squeezed it. She quickly unwrapped his arms and pushed him away. She covered her body and then, she punched his stomach in the middle between his lungs.
He staggered and nearly vomited from the fatal spot that she punched. She quickly ran off toward the door.
"Victoria! Wait! I'm sorry."
When she opened the door, Rose was in the hallway and saw her shaking. She quickly left to the bathroom, completely flustered at what happened. Once she reached the cubicle, she knelt in front of the toilet bowl and tried to vomit by just thinking of another man touching her like that made her nauseous.
"Victoria," Rose knocked. "What happened? What did he do?"
She stood as she staggered a little. She opened the cubicle and looked at Rose.
"Where's the boss?" She asked.
"They left. Do you want me to call him?" Rose asked. She shook her head. Rose reached her hand. It's cold as ice and she's still shaking.
"No. We can't ruin the event." She said. "Let's go to HR."
"Are you sure about this?" Rose asked. "Should we call your husband?"
"No." She shook her head. "I'll handle this." Victoria exhaled slowly.
They went to the HR office first and everyone was out. She looked frustrated as Rose took her back to the office. But seeing the spot where he did it to her made her nervous. If her husband knew about it, she'd be screwed. She watched as Rose called the security downstairs to call them if one of the HR came. Then, Rose even gave her a glass of water to calm her down.
Victoria sat down on her swivel chair as she crossed her arms. Every day, Kenzo taught her how to defend herself. It was every morning whenever he woke her up. Although she was sore down there, Kenzo always wanted her to know the defense to protect herself.
"I should have given him something more," Victoria mumbled. "I wanted to knee his lower part, badly." She's angry after being harassed like that.
She didn't even have a chance to eat her lunch. She'll get ingested if she does. She continued working and she tried hard to focus but she couldn't. Her head is so messed up right now.

"Sir, I've been harassed."

"I know that he has a family, children to feed, so I don't want him to be terminated. I won't tell the police… I just want him out." Victoria said.
"Send me an email of your complaint and I'll call Human Resources."
He's the boss of security and he could even ask one of the staff of HR to come. Their boss was processing everything as she wrote it down. She lessened the things that he does since Rose and Dexter told her that he'll be terminated or else, will be picked up by the police if she wanted. Her hands were shaking as she typed it down and signed it.
On the other hand, Rose called her husband about what happened and she's sure that even Kenzo would be in a rage. The Human Resource Management, interview her. So, she somehow agreed on the situation that is going to happen. They are going to move him out from the head office and transfer him to another. The man had lots of backers and even their boss tried to save him since he also thought about the family. She wrote that he's saying uncomfortable things toward her.
The telephone rang and the staff answered it. She looked at Victoria.
"Miss V, your husband is here."
"What?" She looked surprised.
"I'm sorry, he told me to contact him if anything extreme happens," Rose said. Victoria needs comfort from her husband right now. The HR staff let the man enter the office and with her boss in front of them.
Kenzo looked stern and she knew that he's angry but he kept himself calm. He hugged her and kissed her forehead as they offered him a seat. Kenzo read her writing and he clenched his jaw. He stared at Victoria for a while.
"I'm calling the police." Kenzo finally said. "I know that something extreme happened and this is a fact, but not everything."
Her boss and the HR staff keep quiet. They wait for Victoria to speak.
"Love, he has a family to feed." She mumbled to him.
"Then, he should think twice before he touches you." He said coldly.
"Sir, excuse me, we can go to the police if you want and file a restraining order." The HR staff suggested.
"Yes, we can do that." Her boss even agreed to it. "However, this officer will be terminated from the company."
"Victoria," Kenzo kept his eyes on his wife.
"He didn't **** me." Victoria pressed her lips. "I'm tired, and let's stop it this way."
Kenzo didn't speak. Victoria knew well that Kenzo won't let it slide. But it's her decision. She reached his hand.

They even let Victoria leave the office early with her husband. Victoria left her car as she rode with Kenzo back home. She felt a little bit relieved. The first thing she did when she reached home was to remove her shoes. Then, she waited for Kenzo to do the same. Kenzo walked toward her. He reached her hand and he almost dragged her as he took her to their room.
She kept quiet until they reached their room.
"Change your clothes." He said coldly as he went to the closet to change his clothes.
"Love, I'm sorry." She followed him.
"You feel pity toward the man who harassed you." His eyes looked fierce and she never saw him this angry.
"I don't pity him. I pity his children."
She watched him stripped his shirt and even though he wouldn't flex his stomach, his sexy six-packs of abs are visible. Wait! He gained another two packs. She flushed and ran toward him. She wrapped her arms around his waist and shoved her face to his chest.
"I'm sorry…"
Kenzo sighed as his muscles relaxed. He patted her head and kissed the top of it.
They made love in the walk-in closet and after, they took a quick shower. Kenzo didn't want to let her go easily, so they made love again. He left her in the bed since she's tired. Kenzo went downstairs as he cooked for their dinner. His phone started ringing, the one that Secretary Bryan gave. He turned on the wireless earpiece and answered the call.
"Yes?" Kenzo asked.
"Lord Kenzo, we already settled the credits. It's all paid and we already put on sale about the items that Lady V wanted."
"Good."
"Are you sure that you don't want to take your bank card?"
"No, I have no use for it yet," Kenzo said. "For now, I want you to dig on Jacob Lazardo. Every dirt and his movement."

"How about her frozen bank account?" Kenzo asked in a low voice.
"We already settled it. We sent lawyers and the bank didn't have a choice but to unfreeze it."

"Just call me if there's anything else."
"I will." Kenzo hung up. Tomorrow will be Lady Regina's birthday and for her birthday, he will prepare something big. But it will be delivered. He didn't want to make a grand commotion. It's not the time yet.
"Love…" Victoria called. "Love I need pads." She said as she came down clutching her navel.
"What's wrong? I'm spotting."
"But you just had your period."
"I know." She pouted.
"I'll finish this… lay back down on the bed and I'll give you a hot pad."

"Let's go to the hospital tomorrow." He said.
"No," She shook her head. "Maybe we should take a break from you~~know."
