"Leave her if she's not in love with you. But if she did, I think you should speak to her, rather than running away. It'll help you make a decision."

"Is it Sta~~" She stopped. Maverick didn't answer and bowed his head. "I don't know what trouble you get into. But I think Stacey already likes you."
"It's what I am afraid of, V."

"Thanks, V." Caleb pushed the two away and he hugged Victoria. Then, he hugged Maverick and kissed his cheeks through the face mask. Maverick quickly pushed Caleb away as he laughed. The receptionist was a little bit puzzled.
"We are going now," Victoria said and kissed Kenzo's lips.
"Drive safely."
He said and he patted Maverick. The two left and went to Stacey's office building.
Stacey frowned at her ex-boyfriend from the other department when he brushed his front at her back while she's in the printing room. She moved away.
"It's not like we haven't done that." The man teased.
"Fuck off, Edcel." She mumbled and took her files.
"Let's buy lunch." He suggested. "My treat."
"I don't have an appetite to eat with you." She said bluntly as she left the printing room annoyed. She went to the table as her stomach grumbled. She looked at the time. It's already twelve and just in time when her phone rang. She smiled and answered Maverick's call.
"Stace, we are on the ground floor."
"Okay, I'll be there."
She left and went to the elevator. She almost rolled her eyes when there's Edcel and the woman that he's flirting with. She didn't care about them at all.
"I thought you aren't going to eat," Edcel said.
"No. I say that I don't have an appetite to eat with you." She said highlighting every word. She's annoyed by that bastard who kept on harassing her. The woman with him looked puzzled as she entered the elevator with a few staff and then she clicked the ground floor button. The couple entered. She can't wait for the elevator to stop. Then, the ground floor chimes, and then, she came out quickly. She saw Maverick and Victoria in the lobby. She approached them and hugged Victoria. Then, she pulled down Maverick's mask and pulled him down to kiss him.
Maverick wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back. Victoria was grinning as she watched the couple make a show.
"Oh, come on!" Victoria complained
Stacey smirked and Maverick kissed her neck. He pulled his mask back and gave her a nicely packed lunch.
"Thank you, babe."
"Sure, thing." Maverick patted her head.
"I'm gonna go back upstairs and do my work so I can go home early," Stacey told them.
"Sure," Victoria said. "Get your ass back to work bi-atch."
"Bye Bi-atch." She kissed Maverick's lips with a cloth between them and then, she waved as she went back to the elevator. Maverick noticed the man who kept on glaring at them. But he ignored it as he left the lobby with Victoria.
"The man in the blue tie is her ex?" Maverick asked.
"Yeah, he's quite handsome but not as handsome as Kenzo and you," Victoria said. "He's quite obsessed with Stacey…"

They got into the car and Victoria drove to the supermarket. The two took their separate carts as they talked to each other and went through the shelves.
Kenzo was eating his lunch with Caleb at the conference just after the lunch break. He finished his work for the day and his proposal with Caleb worked. Kenzo wanted Caleb to get the bidding. Although Etrama will play fair, he'll soon sit on the throne and give Caleb every resource that he needs. This is one of the resources.
"I am in love with the building," Caleb mumbled.

"I am working for Secretary Bryan Loren."
"Woah!" He raised his hands. "The Duke's secretary?" Caleb's eyes were wide. He never expected Kenzo to be so high.
"Yes." He chuckled. "Victoria kept on sending dinner for the Duke. Then, tomorrow, she's planning to send lunch. But don't tell her yet. She didn't know."

"Let's say that I am part of their past," Kenzo said. "Caleb, you are my trusted friend. You can't say that I am working for them."
"Don't worry." Caleb chuckled. "I don't have any more friends beside you and Maverick. I mean, true friends."

Kenzo agreed to it. His wife is amazing. They will be a happy family, just soon enough when she gets pregnant. He'll make her happy every day. One way for a happy marriage is a happy wife. When his wife is happy, she could make great food, take care of the house and take care of him. Not just from everyday life but in bed. As long as his wife is happy, he's happy.
"I just remember, once my father said. If I got married, I should do everything to make my wife happy. Because if she's happy, she'll always look beautiful. She'll cook you great foods. She'll take care of you. And she'll cuddle with you a lot."

"Yes." Caleb sighed. "But, she's married and when I saw her at their wedding, she didn't look happy at all. If I didn't let Samara get close to me, she wouldn't leave me." Caleb slumped on his chair. "I missed her every day and every night even though it has been two years."
"Why won't you try to move on?" Kenzo asked.
"I tried. It's like she made my lower part dysfunctional. That's why I only had sex when I'm drunk. I have to look at her photo on my phone while someone is sucking my lower part."
"You are damn crazy." Kenzo laughed. "I don't want to hear anything about your sex life with your ex."
He started gathering the utensils of the lunch box and throwing away the plastics. Then, he put it all in the bag. Caleb did the same and they left the conference room together.
Caleb watched as Kenzo left. He sighed and went to his office. Then, he received a resignation letter from him. But Kenzo told him yesterday not to tell Victoria.
