Chapter 6: In Stranger's Arms

Victoria watched him set up the fan and plugged it. He turned it on at full speed and he lay down behind her. She turned to him and hugged him.
"I noticed that you never use that fan."
"I use it once a week." He said. "I have to cut off the consumption of electricity." He caressed her hair and stared at her face a little bit. She's beautiful without any make-up. She has thick, perfectly trimmed brows. Then, her lips are crossbow and not big. A medium-size luscious lips. Her diamond face was even more attractive that was perfect for her slender pointed nose.
"I need to wake up early to ask for two days off."
"Okay," She smiled. "How about you give me your birth certificate and ID so I could register our marriage? Then, I'll pick you up here after you are done from work."
"Pick me up?" he creased his brows. "Should I let you do that?"
She only smiled at him.
"You have a spare key?"
"I have." He kissed her lips and she responded more.
Kenzo felt like his shaft started stirring up and getting hard. He moved his body over her to deepen the kiss. She tasted sweet and bubble gum and at the same time, she smelled like vanilla and peach. She's the first woman who didn't ignore him for being broke, poor, or more like a beggar. With all of the moaning and making out, both of them fell asleep in each other's arms.
Stacey didn't know how long she's been calling her best friend. However, she sent her a message that she's safe and she'll speak to her later. But she dropped by her house and she wasn't there and the bed was untouched.
Now, she's rushing to her office with a coffee and paper bag of breakfast from the fast food. She passed by on the man sleeping on the corner with all of his things. Looked like a beggar. She put her phone on her bag as she bent down and put the coffee and paper bag beside him. She took out 100 dollar bills and tucked them into his hand. It woke him up and he stared at her for a while as he immediately scrambled.
"You need to leave before the patrols see you here." She told him as she quickly walked away. "Too bad, the guy looked handsome and hot as hell." She mumbled as she pulled her phone and checked Victoria's messages. But there's none. "Where did this bitch stay all night?"
She called her as she entered the office. After a few rings, Victoria answered it, sounding sleepy.
"Hey, you lil' bi-atch. Where did you sleep?" She asked her best friend harshly.
"I am fine and safe…"
"Safe my ass! Tell me where you sleep or I'll break your legs!"
"I am still on my hangover. I'll tell you everything when we see each other. For a moment, I'll be very busy."
"Okay, whatever. I'm off now. I'll call you later."
"Alright, love you!" Victoria hung up and Stacey rolled her eyes. Too much stress lately.
Victoria went to the bathroom seeing the water drum full of water. He may have set it up for her. But he's nowhere to be seen and he leaves a note that he'll just buy breakfast. She's waiting for him. She washed her face and cleaned up. Then suddenly the door started banging.
"Kenzo!" A woman called. "You are two months delay! Open this!"
She quickly approached the door, cleared her throat, and opened it. She peeked at the woman first. Seemed to be a landlady. Victoria smiled at her.
"Good morning."
The woman scoffed and looked at her from head to toe.
"How dare that man to bring a woman into this room?"
"How much does the rent cost?"
"Two-thousand plus the bill for electricity and water." The landlady that still has curling rolls on her hair said it arrogantly.
"Can you please give me a receipt for all of it? I'll pay for it."
The landlady exhaled as she took out the papers and gave them to her
"Just a moment please," She went to the bed and took her purse. She took out the bills and calculated them. She also took her pen then, she gave the money to the landlady full cash that compared to the bills and for the rent for two months. "So, these are my computations from the bills." She said as she took photos of the receipts.
"I still need an advance payment so he could stay here."
"Oh, he doesn't need to." Victoria smiled at her. "He'll be leaving this day."
"Hmm, I will only give this day."
"Yes, of course."
She smiled at the landlady who had a scowling face and the woman left without any frown now. Victoria went back inside and looked around. There's not much to take. He can just grab his shoes and clothes and move in with her.
Kenzo took out some tasty food from the nearest fast food, using the money that Caleb lent to him. When he arrived at the house, he met the landlady who was about to leave. He greeted her.
"Oh, you got a rich girl up there, huh." She said that made Kenzo frown. "It's a good thing that she paid all of it or else, I'll call for a town officer to clear your things out. I'll be leaving now and it's the last time that I will see you, handsome." She winked and it sent him a shivering sensation that stood all of his hairs in the body.
He shrugged it and went upstairs to the room. She's tidying up the bed and she smiled at him.
"Let's eat breakfast." He pulled a chair for her and she sat down. Then, he put out the boxes and watched her. "Did you pay the rent?"
"Hmm, I did. You are moving in with me since we are married."
"Eat now, so you could go home." He said. She exhaled and held his hand.
"Let's eat first." She said softly.
"Don't worry, I'll pay for what you~~"

It's very ancient but the phone is very useful only for calls and messages. She entered her number and name and showed them to him. Then, she checked his number and dial it to her phone, and saved the number.
"I'll call you later after I set things up and after I change clothes. You can go to work and ask for leave so we can set it up." She decided as the plans ran in her head.

"Don't run away from me, or else I'll hunt you down." She threatened that it only made him chuckle.
"I won't run away." He told her as he caressed her hair.
He cleaned up the table and watched her change her clothes from the dress that she wore. She took her purse and put her shoes on as he escorted her outside. They waited for the car that she booked.

Kenzo watched as the car left. Marrying someone like her would make him more motivated to get rich.. It'll be hard but he has skills that he kept hidden.
