When Kenzo arrived at the construction site and worked a little bit late. He spoke to the Engineer that he'll take a leave off for three days because of an emergency that came up. At first, the Engineer didn't want him to leave but he never took a leave off or a day off.
So, he signed a few papers. While the engineer told him to finish the wirings first that wouldn't take a lot of time. He quickly finished it and there were stainless steel wires that left. He thought of something at the moment. The girl didn't have a ring, so he used materials and made a ring out of stainless steel. He took the round measurement and used it as he twisted the wires beautifully.
"What are you making?" His friend Maverick asked.
"I'm making a ring." He told him.
"Ring?" He creased his brows. "We know that both of us are broke. Are you proposing to someone?"
"I know that it's cheap but the girl deserves a ring."
Maverick sighed and clicked his tongue.
"Get back to work quickly," Kenzo told him and watched as Maverick went back to work. Their engineer approached him.
"The son of the owner of this building will come soon. Stay for a moment until they leave, okay?"
"Yes, sir."
Kenzo finished the ring and then checked other wires around to make sure that nothing would blast. He looked at the man wearing an expensive suit with a girl with him hearing high heels, clinging onto his arm. The man who seemed to be the owner's son was checking out the blueprint and the girl who kept clinging to him looked like someone he knew. He looked away as he started gathering his materials. He slid the ring to his pocket as he took the diameter measurement.
"You!" The man in a fancy tux called him. He approached him.
"Sir, he's our best electronic mechanic."
"Hmm, I see." He looked at him from head to toe. "I want him out of here."
"Si~Sir, what did I do wrong?" Kenzo asked, feeling wronged.
"I saw you harassing one of the heiresses of Parson last night." He smirked.
"Oh, so it was him who hooked up on Jaya? How low of her?" The woman with him scoffed and laughed.
Kenzo frowned at what they said. Then, he just realized that the girl he hooked up with is an heiress of a Parson. He heard from his coworkers that the building was Welch's, with Parson as the business partner. He kept quiet as he looked straight at the man. The engineer bowed his head.
"I apologize sir, but we can't just kick out a worker. But they are the third party~~"
"I don't care. I don't want to see him here."
The man and woman turned back. Kenzo's boss shook his head and turned to him.
"Do you even know the person that you hooked up with?"
"No. She approached me…" He mumbled.
"I'm sorry, Kenz, but I have to talk to the manager."
"Can I take my leave now, sir?" He asked the engineer.
"Yes," He turned back from the engineer while the engineer followed the man and woman in fancy outfits.
His phone started ringing and he quickly answered it.
"Hey, where are you now?" Victoria asked.
"I'm on my way. Where should I meet you?"
"I'm currently in a 7-11 near the site that you were working on."
"I'll be there."
"Okay, I'll wait for you. Bye." He hung up and reached the ring from his pocket. He looked down at it and thought of her. The girl deserves better. He slid it back protectively.
He walked toward the convenience store that was three blocks away. He saw a red car. Victoria came out from the cafe next to the convenience store and waved at him. He smiled and approached him.
"Sorry, my clothes are dirty." He kissed her lips.
"It's fine. I bought you a spare shirt and pants. You can change at the back of the car."
He opened the driver's seat first and let her in. Then, he opened the backseat as he slid in and looked at the shirt that was hanging on the other side and pants. She grinned at him.
"Go on." She told him. "It will match my dress."
"You want to see me strip?" He grinned at her. She nodded at him. He moved closer to her and pressed his lips to hers. He removed his shirt and then pulled out the ring. He reached her left hand and slid it to the ring finger. "I know that this is cheap. I promise to replace it with a real gem when I have enough money."
She gaped at it. She was emotional from what he said and the effort that he made. For her ex-fiance buying a ring isn't a big effort. He could buy two more of it since he's rich. But a man like Kenzo made a personalized ring and instead of a diamond ring, he made a flower out of the wires. She bit her lip and smiled at him with almost teary eyes.

"I'll do anything for you, Victoria." He doesn't want to tell her yet that he got kicked out of his job. He'll find another.
Victoria watched him change into the clothes that she bought and he moved to the shotgun seat.
They reached the Civil Registrar and gave out the things that they needed to get their license. She already has the marriage certificate that she also got from the church and nearby places. She paid for it so they wouldn't take the counseling. She wanted to get married badly and there are a lot of processes if they would go straight to church.
After they were done with it, she drove back to his house and waited for him to collect his things. With the certificate and license in her hand, she felt happy. But, they will get to know each other and she just knew to herself that Kenzo isn't some kind of jackass who would take all of her money.
It took at least twenty minutes when Kenzo arrived. She opened the trunk of the car and he put two bags in there. He quickly entered the shotgun seat.
"I'll kiss you later." She said as she drove away from the dirty place.
It takes an hour to reach a subdivision with a security guard. They passed a few homes. Kenzo expected her to have a very big house but it's just a simple two-story house with a beautiful garden. He smiled. The girl wanted to live in a simple house. He's glad that it wasn't a mansion at all.
"So, I live here." She said as she clicked the remote and the gate opened. "It's simple and I bought it cheaper than the other gigantic houses here."
"You live alone?"
"Yes, sometimes my best friend came to stay and visit me. I recently moved in." She parked the car inside. He removed his seatbelt and he moved closer to her. She grinned as she removed her seatbelt and crawled to his lap to kiss him.. He gets hornier as they kiss deeper.
