Denise and Old Man Skull were eating lunch on the dining table while Shawn had already excused himself for a while for a phone call. He always tried to show to this shrewd old man that he gets irritated in the presence of Denise.
"Father Lee, you are going to attend the event right?" Denise asked Old Man Skull. She had started to call him father Lee instead, because his dad was confused during the meet-up of the in laws when she called them both dad.

Then she changed her expression and with misty eyes said, "I think it would be best to attend because Arya is a trending name today. I know she is my friend, but I noticed Shawn pays more attention to her than to me though I know she is famous and almost all companies wants to have her to model and endorse them but she has still chosen SL Group."
Old Man Skull scoffed.
"Though, Shawn will definitely be present and can represent you being the CEO of the SL Group but I wish you also be there because I don't want Shawn to pay too much attention at her and avoid me just like he does all the day. I think Shawn still has some emotions for Arya and if you will be with me he will be kept in control else I am afraid he might just start paying her more attention than me." Denise explained, showing her sulking face intentionally to Old Man Skull.
Then she added, "though I tolerate him avoiding me everytime, but if he started paying more attention to any other woman than me, I would be really heartbroken father Lee… Please attend the banquet and can you be with Arya as SL Group's representative instead of him during the party?"
Denise explained and tried hard to convince Old Man Skull who did not respond at her still.
"By the way father Lee, have you thought about allowing Shawn to stay in our house for a while? Maybe if he stays with me for a few days he would start to like me also. My dad actually wants to know him more too before the wedding." Denise changed the topic, so Old Man Skull won't get suspicious for convincing him to attend the party.
Old Man Skull frowned but quickly changed his expression and smiled to Denise.
He looked at Shawn who was again entering the dining area and sat down on his chair beside Denise.
"Child, I will talk to your father and explain everything why Shawn must stay with me for a while. If you really don't want to part with him then why don't we do this… why don't you stay here instead while you two prepare for the wedding? I will have one of our guest rooms be arranged to your liking. The room right next to Shawn's..." He asked as his evil grin flashed on his face.
