Greg got up in the morning in a terrible mood. That night he could not sleep at all. His thoughts kept returning to Lana and kids. And even though the reports from Martin came every day, they were too jerky: "Everything fine, nothing happened. " - That was not enough. This week Greg did not even have college classes. And the oppressive sensation grew with every passing day. Several times he had the urge to go and make sure that these three are alright at least from a distance. But this would seem like stalking, so he clamped his teeth and tried to drive away the terrible images from his head that didn't allow him to sleep at night.

So today he slept in. Fortunately, he was a big boss, so no one said anything to him when he showed up only during lunchtime. Marina, as always, was bombarding him with lengthy reports, which he did not want to read at all. He didn't want to work anyway, but he at least pretended. After a couple of hours, he was annoyed by everything around him, even the walls. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore and decided to call Martin for a detailed report. Perhaps then he will calm down.

The security man appeared in his office rather quickly, although he looked somewhat worn out. On Greg's question look, he only waved his hand:

" Too much work. Since yesterday, I was watching this girl all night, on your behalf. Not enough sleep." - He explained. Greg was a little ashamed, only a little bit. Mentally making a note to raise Martin's salary, Greg still asked.

" Any problems?"

"This whole family is one big problem," - Martin snorted with annoyance.

" You said that everything is all right?!"

" That's the point. Everything is fine. But it's like watching a man dancing on the edge of the cliff. He seems to be alive and well, but my inside is tightening with his every move. I didn't receive so much adrenaline for a long time. All three of them, as if they have no sense of self-preservation at all."

"Could you be more specific?" - Greg asked. His brows snapped together, and everything began to boil inside.

" Well, if you want details, then lets start in order. The sanest of all three, this is surprisingly a boy. Every day he takes his sister to school, then goes to college. No friends, no girls. Eats in college alone. Then he does his homework in the library and waits until mom and sister pick him up. Sometimes guys are trying to pick a fight with him, but mostly he just stares at them freaking them up. Who knows how long he can keep it up. But his sister is a real beast. She goes to a local public school. And it's like the exact opposite of a brother. Her sociability is bordered by some maniacal desire to communicate with everyone within a kilometer radius of herself. It feels like she was kept locked in the cellar all her life and now she is trying to catch up. Yesterday, she chatted for half an hour with a guy who tried to steal a car from the street just a moment before she came by. Fortunately, he just backed off and left. Before that, she suddenly turned into the alley on the way to the store and began to ask something from a group of gangster-looking guys who were obviously preparing for some no good. I'm not even talking about her friendship with the whores of the whole district. Her mom clearly forgot to explain that she shouldn't talk to strangers when she was a kid. Well, with such a mother, I'm not at all surprised."

" What do you mean?" - Greg asked, starting to tap restlessly on the tabletop.

" Greg, she works in a cafe, which sells weed under the table. That girl going around treating everyone to her cookies in the district, and you already know what kind of the neighbors there are. As a result, one of the Captains of the largest gang in this region is now following her around. I'm not even talking about her working in the nightclub."

Greg squeezed his eyes shut and clenched his teeth, trying to calm down.

"Why didn't you report to me?"- he hissed through clenched teeth.

" That's the case if you wanted me to report to you every time one of them doing something stupid we would be in contact 24/7. So I wanted to observe. But every time it's just like that, they're brushing to close to danger, but still coming out as nothing happens. That captain, nicknamed the Skull, only escorted the mother to the club. In the cafeteria, too, everyone is treating her well. And everything was calm in the club. Well, until yesterday evening. I wasn't allowed into the VIP zone, where she serves the tables. But when I was already going down to the lower hall, one of the clients suddenly leaped up and grabbed the waitress by the throat. Ruslana rushed to help her. She even punched that guy in the ear, but then suddenly froze in place. She stood and looked at that madman like deer in headlights. The guard arrived in time and quickly knocked him out."

" And you just stood and watched all this?" - Greg snarled.

" To be honest, I expected that the first to intervene would be a big ass bouncer who didn't let me on the floor. But he didn't even move, even though he was the closest.

"I see," - Greg squeezed out. - "something else?"

"The rest you can see in my detailed report." - Martin shrugged.

"Ok, dismissed. Let your guys continue watching." - Commanded Greg in a cold voice. The temperature in the office fell to the freezing point.

Martin nodded briefly and left. Greg turned to the computer and loaded the security report. In the middle of it, his eyebrow began to twitch. By the end, he was ready to either break someone's clearly unneeded limb or find Lana and put her on a leash. And Vicki with Nicky, too. He decided to go with the last option and pulled out the phone.
