The hotel waiter was a bit shocked when he discovered that even the second food delivery disappeared in a matter of seconds. But at least the werewolves didn't look so hungry now.

"The shift takes a lot of energy." - Lana began to justify herself, but Greg stopped her.

"You can eat as much as you like, you can hardly empty my account this way even by one percent, plus if some of your curves ..."

"No, that's too much," - Brian barked, cutting him off, - "I'm not ready to hear your dirty thoughts about my sister's curves. And I won't be, Ever! Let's talk about business. We are already postponing it for too long."

Greg turned an attentive glance at Brian.

"Alright. You already know everything you need. Maybe you have any suggestions or ideas?" - He asked directly.

"Firstly, I propose to transfer Lana and the children for their safety to one of my property." - began Brian.

"No!" - Greg immediately interrupted him. - " Not gonna happen! Lana is my Mate, and she with children is under my protection! I won't take it any other way!"

"Greg, you obviously don't understand who you are dealing with." - Brian tried to reason with him.

" No, it's you, who don't quite get who you are dealing with. Answer me one question. Werewolf vs a man with a machine gun, who will win? Considering that this is not a cheap action movie, and my guns are not firing in different directions, without magically touching the target."

The man mixed up a little, not finding a clear answer.

"That's it. Plus, let's take into account the fact that your father probably knows about all your villas and estates, and de facto they belong to your corporation."

"This is not true," - Brian immediately resented.

"It doesn't matter now," - Greg did not let him finish. - "In any case, as long as we do not know how much he may be involved in what is happening, no means and possessions of Winter Corp. should not be used."

Brian frowned, but after a short silence, nodded in agreement.

" Okay. But I insist that Lana should meet with our mother." - Brian made his proposal. Greg squinted at his girlfriend. Lana pursed her lips slightly, but her eyes burned with confidence that had not been there before.

"Bri, I think you're right," - she finally said. - "But Mom is always at the main estate of Winterborn. We can't go there. What if father learns about what we have in mind?"

"We can arrange a meeting anywhere. If I tell mom that you want to see her, I am sure that she will come wherever you say." - proposed Brian.

Lana wondered, going over the options. As much as she did not want to reopen old wounds, it was too late to bury her head in the sand. The only way to solve this whole tangle of problems is to take it all apart in turn and as soon as possible.

"It can't be anywhere," - the girl finally began to reason. - "Firstly, mother is always somewhere in front of the father's eyes. She is never going anywhere for long. If she leaves suddenly, he will surely notice. This person is always in control and won't overlook it just like this."

"Then what if I divert his attention?" - suddenly offered Brian. - "He probably already knows about our meeting. And the fact that I haven't arrived yet fuming with indignation, probably already made him a little nervous. If I arrange a sound curtain for a few hours, then Mom will be able to escape unnoticed and also secretly return back."

Everyone looked at each other. The plan was not so bad. Of course, anything could happen in the process. But in any case, Brian will always be with his father and will be able to react if something goes wrong.

"I have a suggestion," - Tony suddenly said. All eyes immediately turned to him. - "I heard this week in the town will be a festival. There will be many visitors. And who could have predicted in advance that we would be here? I think this is the perfect place for a secret meeting. To discuss plans for a local revolution in a pack of werewolves eating cotton candy, what could be better ?!"

Everyone exchanged glances.

"I don't want to admit it, but it seems your silly friend is right," - Brian admitted unwillingly.

" You're such a darling. I'm so glad you became a part of our big friendly family, Bri! For Christmas, I will definitely give you a fur comb. They say it is very relaxing." - immediately retorted Tony with a radiant smile.

" Apparently, your relatives did not teach you that the shorter the tongue, the longer the life!" - Brian grinned at him in response.

"Okay, Break!" - Greg shouted at them, feeling like both are starting to wind up.

"Speaking of your friend, when are we going to turn him in for a double murder?" - Brian growled through his teeth.

"Have you got all the rabies vaccinations? Otherwise, you act as if that raccoon had time to bite you on the ass, " - Tony could not help retorting back.

A new wave of quarrel stopped a sharp roar. Everything immediately turned to the sound. Only to the surprise of all those present, it did not come at all from Greg, but from Lana, who hit the table with such force that the tabletop even cracked a little.

"Greg said enough, so shut the f*ck up!" - She said firmly, highlighting every word. -" We do not have time for altercations now."
