CHAPTER 2

After that the train arrived at the nearest station from school on the scheduled time, and I also safely arrived at the school without being summoned to another world again in the middle of the way.

“I hope I was transferred to another world as well…”

While looking up at the familiar school building, I quietly murmur so and heave a sigh.

Well, there’s no point crying over spilt milk, looking at the fact that I can see what’s happening to the ‘me’ who are in another world, I am satisfied with that.

Thinking that way, I steel my thought, head inside the school building, change my shoes in the shoe rack, and finally head towards the classroom.

“Hmm…..?

Arriving at the classroom, I open the door but somehow I have a bad feeling upon seeing the scene inside the classroom.

Something seems to be different from usual…… thinking about it, I notice something.

It seems that the desks and chairs are less than usual.

There shouldn’t be any kind of special event today though……

“Say, where is my seat again?”

“Ha? Your seat? Isn’t it that one over there? Are you stupid?”

“Ahaha … Thanks…”

“Tch.”

I don’t even know where my seat is, so I try asking the gal-ish girls who is playing with her phone and somehow I’m told where it is, although quite in a harsh way.

When I gloss over it and express my gratitude, she clicks her tongue in response.

I want to cry…

But, be that as it may, looking at the fact that she still properly tell me where my seat is, seems like she recognizes me as her classmate.

While thinking of such a thing, I head towards the seat she pointed at.

The seat she pointed at was two spaces ahead of my usual seat. However, because the overall seats are also less than usual, arrangement-wise, it’s still in the rear most seat by the window though.

While finding how strange the situation is, I take a seat and start pondering about it.

However, it doesn’t seem like my classmates find this situation strange at all.

Looking at that fact, seems like those whose seats have disappeared also have disappeared themselves.

Then speaking of “why did they disappear?”, but of course, I’ve got more or less the picture of it. After all, I am the person who was left behind even thought I was summoned to two different worlds.

In other words, at that time, my classmates had been on the same segment as me.

That means, some kind of mysterious corrections had occurred so that no one finds it strange that those people disappeared, huh. Let’s make a report about it.

‘Calling for the me who was summoned as a group. Looks like some of our classmates were also mixed in that world transfer.’

[That voice is from the me who is in japan? Then, is Sasakura-san among those classmates? If that’s the case I’ll do my very best here.]

‘Nope, Sasakura-san is currently chatting with her friends with her usual angel-like smile on her face, and I also am being healed by it as usual.’

[Tch, then there’s no point thinking about it that much, huh.]

Listening to the voice of the me who was transported as a group, I look at my surrounding, and when I report back the people who were seemingly also summoned there, he reply back in somewhat dejected way.

Well, very like me response, though.

Also, I’ve pretty much confirmed those who were also summoned, and it doesn’t looks like someone whom I’m in good term with is among them. Those who’d disappeared were those who usually noisily shouted that they wanted to go to another world, so there shouldn’t be any problem, huh.

Also, looks like there’s no girl among my classmates who were summoned, so the current gender ratio in my class is 7 to 3 for the girls.

[Ah, the me in Japan, there’s something I want to ask, now that you’re in the classroom, that means nothing happened further in the train after that?]

‘Hmm? Yes, nothing happened at all. The only remarkable moment is where the embarking passengers were surprised by how empty the train was, though.’

[I see, then what that self-proclaimed god said was a total lie, huh.]

Lie?

For him to ask what happened to the train….

‘Something like ‘the train you were boarding in met an unfortunate accident’?’

[As expected of me! That’s exactly it, she even condescendingly said ‘I’d saved you all who were supposed to die there’, you know? Okay, using this as the material I’ll black… I’ll ask her something a bit in return.]

‘Oi, are you sure? Isn’t that the route where you’ll get murdered?’

[Ah, actually I’ve had a discussion with the hero me, and it seems like the real one is the me who is in japan, and us who are in another world are the so called part of the body. That means, as long as the me who is japan is alive, there won’t be any problem, or so we thought.]

Hmm?

‘What do you mean?’

[Then let the hero me answer that. After our first meeting, I received various explanations, you see. Well, it’s just as the usual cliché goes, you know it as well don’t you, that.]

Hmm, that means.

‘Status identification, huh.’

[As expected of me! Then, when I checked my status, I understood that I was just a part of the body where you who were in japan was the real one. And even when I realized that, I only thought ‘Oh, I see’. The reason that I didn’t reject that idea was because I pretty much trusted that information.]

I see.

Being told that you were actually only a part of the main body without even realizing it, normally you’d be surprised… well, would you?

‘Actually, even if you say that you are the real one where I’m the copy, I feel like I’d be able to accept it quite easily as well, though.’

[…well, yeah. We’re the same so I understand it. Well, with our personality, it doesn’t really matter who the original is but, since it looks like the me in japan is the original one so let’s just take it like that.]

What an easy going fellow.

Original or not, that’s supposed to an important matter, isn’t it? In movies, even a clone would claim to be the real one, you know?

Wait, speaking of me, competing is my way of life, isn’t it?

‘Come on, admit that I’m the real one.’

[Eh, no way, it’s troublesome after all.]

[Same here.]

‘Bah! Even though I’m the real one, I’m here in japan, you know?! So let me feel the clone SF movie-ish feeling a bit!’

Do you understand my feeling for being left behind here in japan despite having a great expectation when covered by those magic circles?

Do you understand how much shock I suffered?

[Well, with that being the case, it doesn’t look like we’re in that desperate situation to live here, so let’s live our life suitably.]

[Looks like I’m a proper hero here so I think I have to live it quite seriously, though.]

‘Well, you’re right. Or rather, is there a possibility for you guys to die? Even if I’m the original one, it isn’t like I’m the one who is living there as well, after all.’

[[That’s exactly it.]]

Ignoring my grief, they tell their own piece of mind, and when I hear it, I ask them a question that suddenly pops out in my mind. But listening to their simultaneous answers, I think ‘ah, they’re surely me’.

As expected of me, as expected that’s scary.

Simultaneously, I think that they really are me.

If there’s no threat for them to die, there are many things I want to try out like fooling around or playing around.

‘By the way, don’t you think saying ‘the me in japan’ and so on is kind of bothersome?’

[Very bothersome.]

[It’s bothersome but it’s quite a mystery that we’re somehow able to tell the words were from who and for whom.]

That’s right, after getting used to hold telepathy meeting like this, somehow we could tell which me is which.

But, calling the me ◯◯ or the ◯◯ Yuuji is kind of bothersome.

I want to make a nickname or something, but even if they accept me as the original one, perhaps they won’t accept this one that easily. But, as expected no less from part of me.

[Then, the me who was summoned in a group is Yuuji A, Eiji.]

[Then the hero me is Viji.]

And easily decide so.

‘Hmm, that means I’m Ziji, huh.’

[[You’re the normal Yuuji, aren’t you?!]]

When I try following the flow of conversation as such, I get retorts as I expected they’ll give, it makes me happy.

Eiji and Viji are me as well so they surely understand what I want.

However, isn’t this just like self-joke and self-retort? Let’s stop doing it. There are many things you shouldn’t do in society.

[Oops, looks like enemies are coming so I’ll take my leave here.]

[I also have to start taking action here.]

With that, seems like Eiji and Viji start moving in their respective world.

Or rather, to think Eiji refers to enemies that casually.

It’s about morning assembly period here as well so it’s decided to conclude the meeting there.

By the way, if I put my mind on it, I can decide to let the visions and voices to appear in my mind or not.

Thanks to that, I’m relieved because I can concentrate on the morning assembly as well as the classes afterward.

Unexpectedly I’m quite the serious type at this kind of thing.
