I spent half of my times reading basic mana manipulation and all the basic stuff that could be useful for the next lessons with the instructors. Luna is sleeping all this time and now that I think about it she slept almost all day long yesterday. Well granted that a lot of snakes is nocturnal and she awakes if I move out of the room without her so I just let her be. Most of the times she sleeps on my shoulder tough.
I read basic sound manipulations so I can use my instrument mastery better also it helps me as I have a sound domain as my traits so it's a double plus. I was thinking I would use a sound that comes out from my instrument to attack or buff others around me like in Hunter and Monster Game. (I didn't use the real game name, I don't know whether I can use it or not so I just play it safe)
I really need to thank Anna as I the basic mana manipulation really helps a lot, as to use sounds to attack would require me to use my mana. It turns out that a lot of peoples who get instrument mastery also have the same idea as me they are a lot of personal notes I can read in the sound mastery titles.
Some of them use it to hypnosis target so they can attack it easily, some to buff their teammate, there even one who use it for a direct attack as sound travel through the air and he makes it so the sound that he produces can cut through it making some kind of wind blade.
I finally understand what my dad is saying about modifying my skills it through my needs and use it for my personal benefits. Each of skill development has some kind of downside so I can't just go learn them all as it would be bad.
For example to hypnosis my target I need a soothing melody so that my target would relax and let their guard down. But to attack them using sound I need a strong hard note so if I attack them there's a chance it would wake them from the hypnosis as a result. There's also many kinds of instruments and one that would suit others development better.
I always told myself to never commit to a one-way path and to always have an alternative. I chose to go to more of the general path but I decided to toss away an attacking path as they limit so much possibility. Granted there are multiple types of attacking using a combination of sound and instruments but the more I think about it I think it would suit me as I can have Luna to attack and I support her from the back.
I look at my little companion and pat her head and she blinks her little blue eyes. Oh, I just realized that she really is a unique snake. I thought she is an albino snake but now that I think about it every albino always have red eyes but she has blue somehow. I can't imagine how a little 1-meter snake can attack a monster but from the soul pet titles, I gain a lot of knowledge about pet and how strong can they be if you take care of it.
I finish reading everything and look at the time on my comlink and realize I spend almost 3 hours and start panicking.
"Wait, we're here for almost 3 hours??? Didn't the instructors say that there would be 2 hours for each lesson and we have to rotate one after another? Did we just miss one of the lessons???"
"There is a notification on your comlink that said they add an extra hour for every lesson. It really hard to get the hang of it on the first time so I get why the extended it." Anna said nonchalantly
I see that Kana and James talking to each others discussing what they got from all the new information as for Alice she is having a blast in the dreamland. I knock on her head to wake her up because it's almost 3 hours and we would move for the instructor lesson soon.
"Oh, you're finished, Albert. How much improvement did you get from all the new knowledge?"
James ask me smiling like he is the happiest person on earth. I look at my skill tab on my comlink

Whoa, it raises a lot. It's more than what I get from 2 days discussing skill with my dad. I guess it helps me understand what is written on that title. I got a lot more comprehension for my Instrument mastery skill compares to my puppet skill. It could be because my puppet skill is a rare one or maybe because there are a lot more data I get for instrument mastery and sound, in general, compare to the puppet skill. Or maybe both, well it's a good thing I guess.
"What the hell? How come yours so high already!!!" James exclaims looking at my comlink
"Well, it turns out that most people who have instrument mastery also using sounds manipulation so I get a lot of notes to compare, I guess. As for my puppet skill, it's already high since my dad explains a lot about that skill. What about you guys how much did you guys improve?"
"I raise my shield mastery a lot. Blocking is kinda the core of everyone who has shield mastery skill so I got a lot from it. As for my summon skeleton most of the notes are kinda useless as they talk a lot about how to raise your efficiency and quantity so I kinda ditch it as I can only summon one."
I look at James, Kana, and Alice's comlink to see their improvement as I share mine with them.

"It would raise faster when you applied what you learn for real later. They also say it would raise even further when you create your own arts from the skill that you have but I have not managed to do so even after I know the theory. It's like swimming even if you know the theory how to do it when your body did not move accordingly you would still drown"
