There stood one skeleton in the middle of the battle field, and it just birthed at level 12 as a series of hobgoblins surrounded it…
It seemed to be outmatched in every way compared to the hobgoblins…
It was a skeleton… and its opponents were hobgoblins…
There power levels were on average 10 times higher than normal skeletons, yet… this skeleton seemed to be made out of an amber material, with gem like eyes, and… it had an aura that made its amber skin seem gold…
The hobgoblins, on the other hand, were just normal hobgoblins… level 15 each and with an average power level of 9,000…
If Duncan came to this battleground now, perhaps he could easily kill these green skin hobgoblins with a few swipes of his sword… However, the skeleton was an ancestral skeleton from the soul ancestral decent, so… the hobgoblins surrounded him carefully and they took their time…
On average, the hobgoblins were also much smarter than skeletons…
This skeleton, though, took a careful stance, and it appeared to be from an inherited memory…
Because it was an ancestral fire skeleton, it meant it had ancestral memories…
It's power level was roughly 4500 from birth, and… its opponents started running towards it and it looked back at them before its fist seemed to metallicize…
However, it really just appeared to metallicize because of the sun shinning on its fist…
Its arm moved forward quickly…
On the left side, and on the right side skeletons stopped fighting other skeletons in awe of this attack from the amber skeleton…
Its fist skirted towards one of the charging hobgoblins as it jumped into the air…
BOOOM!
The hobgoblins hand smashed straight into that skeletons fist, and not surprisingly the hobgoblin spun in the air and the skeleton's hand pulled out his sword from the hobgoblins spinning sheathe!
Such technique!
The person he came from must be a terrifying existence, and… the hobgoblins ran away as the skeleton stabbed that hobgoblin in the leg…
Gush!
Blood gushed out of that hobgoblin until that skeleton made it all the way down to his bones…
He pulled out one of his level 2 arms, and replaced it with the level 12 arm of the bleeding, screaming hobgoblin…
Then… it appeared the hobgoblin still breathed, so…. he threw him into a pit so he could die a slow death…
However, he needed some experience, and fortunately… it appeared that this skeleton, who named himself Honan, was one of the evolvers in the group of ancestral skeletons…
He walked over towards another pile of skeletons, and began beating them for their bones, so Duncan would have to see this guy in a few months… and both their reputations may or may not soar depending on its luck in this battle field…
It really was up to luck to decide, and… a few skeletons began following the amber skeleton noticing an odd light shining out of its back…
'Hmph… I can't believe it… I have an element…' He dragged a sword in his arm because he could really not hoist his arm above his head very well, and… Duncan started getting ready to head that direction…

Duncan had entered into a dream like trance for a brief moment but it felt like a long time...

He even noticed something he never saw before, and… what exactly was it that he saw?
There, in front of him, appeared to be space time ripples flickering in the space behind his struggling wife Nyla, and even slivers of gold which he knew meant something, but… only the strongest, highest-level existence could do such a thing as manipulate time…
What exactly happened on that day, and… seeing her head get eaten again confirmed this Nyla look alike wasn't too far off from his deceased wife…

He finally returned form his basement exploration, and Phoenix jumped to catch those three vials because he once heard how powerful they were from the colonel…
If they fell, it would be a horrible explosion, and Clyde also jumped to catch those vials…
Luckily, they all rammed into each other, and the vials didn't break…
Duncan sighed and picked it up and walked away from the girl with a frown on his countenance…
Obviously, being hugged by someone who looked like your deceased wife required extra attention to something that appeared to be more essence development fluid…
