We arrived at the foot of the volcano. There, what appeared to be ruins remained, although there was no sign of them due to collapses caused by earth shaking. The whitish stones must have been used as building materials. Just by looking at the wreckage, one can imagine that it must have been a magnificent building, but now there is not a shadow of it.

Here it is. Taura, be careful, the foothold is not so good.

He gets down from the hippopotamus and calls out. Scattered white stones of various sizes are everywhere.

With the scaffolding so bad, it would be safer to have Hippopo wait for us once.

"Oh. But is the basement safe, Rust?"

"The outside has collapsed because it was built in a later time, but the basement is a dungeon."

"Dungeon?"

You see, there was a place near the capital city of Ptaresk. < was sleeping. Come to think of it, this is your first time in Taura.

I explain as I approach the rubble of the ruins.

"According to the sorcerer's knowledge, there are several types of dungeons that were formed at the same time of the creation. This place seems to be the type where the actual underground space itself is fixed as a dungeon. But it is still a dungeon. It won't be broken by earth tremors.

"I don't know, but I don't know if dungeons are really that sturdy. Oh, by the way, Rust. Don't you need a key to get into these dungeons?"

"A dungeon, so to speak, is something that the world (server) itself created. It should not be so easy to make a dungeon. We need a key.

I grin and take out a stick-shaped magic crystal stone from my pocket and show it to Taura.

"I duplicated it."

"...... That's what I'm talking about."

He lightly brushes off Taura's half-amused admiration and confirms his position.

"Maybe it's here. Hmmm. It's a little cramped for the Hippopo Brothers to dig.

There were several large pillars that had collapsed and were stacked on top of each other.

"Rust! I hear something!"

As I was pondering this, a warning voice came from Taura.

That's when it happened. The ground beneath my feet shook violently and something came out of the ground.

Unconsciously, I jump backwards. Out of the corner of my eye, I see that there is no debris where I land.

I swing my face to the side, and my bangs fly off, as if something has sliced through them.

He again sees the trajectory of something out of the corner of his eye, changes his angle to the left backward, and jumps down once more.

He pulls off his right glove and throws it up into the air.

An enemy must have appeared from the ground.

The second blow of the enemy comes from the lower right front side from my point of view.

But that is just where I can swing my right hand down.

I was just about to swing my right hand down when I put all my power of magic into my right hand. A sword was thrust out from behind me, just in front of my body.

The tip of the sword, which was under my armpit, pierced through the enemy and sewn him up in the air.

It is Taura.

"Rust, I'm sorry. I am Rust's sword! Once again I've put you in danger..."

"No, you got here just in time."

I grab my fallen glove in mid-air and point at my four-armed enemy, who is pierced by the tip of Taura's sword. And I deny his apology.

The enemy is very similar to the three unjust men who attacked us in the mausoleum, but less than one-third the size.

They are faster because they are smaller. Its four claws are also quite sharp. But I'm glad it's something I can handle.

While I was touching my broken bangs and thinking about the enemy's strength, I heard a whizzing sound and the enemy turned into smoke. It seems that he has died.

"Hey, Rust. Can I ask you something?

Taura asked me shyly as I put my sword back in my hand.

"How was Rust able to avoid the enemy's attack earlier? On the contrary, you were about to counterattack. Rust, you're not even good at exercising, are you?"

Taura's gaze glanced to my right. The doubt and slight uneasiness in her eyes.

"What? Why? Why?

I was so caught off guard by the question that I gave a dumb response.
