Xhemin was lost for a while when she heard of Darryl's name. She wasn't sure if someone informed her or she just missed the fact that he was discharged from the hospital. She had avoided any conversation about him for a while and liked how LGC and L'Empire avoided each other. But now that Darryl is back, what's going to happen then?

"CEO Leigh?" Clay called on her again as she didn't answer the second time around.

"I don't think it would be wise to send any welcome back gifts," Xhemin replied. "With the situation LGC and L'Empire have now, any gifts only make them upset,"

Xhemin knew that even when L'Empire accepted their fault and made themselves responsible for Dian's crimes, they somehow blamed Dannah and Darryl's tragedy on her, especially that it was her children whom their heirs all saved.

L'Empire didn't understand yet why Dannah and Darryl had to sacrifice their lives for Willow and Wolfe. As much as Xhemin wanted to explain,  the Lagdameo were too devastated at that time and they had long hated her even before the accident happened. So she was sure they would not care themselves for any words of explanation from her as they were too worried about their heirs in their deathbeds

"I see," Clay sighed. It seemed that the silent war between L'Empire and LCG was serious, even Xhemin herself was being very cautious not to cross the invisible line that stood between the two families. "I'll leave you so you can focus on your work then. I'll come back later,"

"Thank you Clay," Xhemin replied but as soon as Clay left, her mind got stuck on the fact that Darryl was finally okay and was not back at his feet. She was relieved to have heard such news but why was it that suddenly she felt nervous, as if something was coming, like a strong storm ready to sweep a whole town. Xhemin after a while finally managed to bring focus back to her paperwork but there was another knock on the door.

"Clay?" She called on him, wondering what he needed this time. She caught a sigh of his expression and immediately knew something important came up.

"CEO Leigh," Clay looked at her helplessly, "The Lagdameo heir is here. He wishes to see you,"

Dannah landed on a small island located in the Northern part of the country. She drove there through a private jet, landed on a small airport and the next thing she knew, she was riding in a car through a thick forest toward somewhere. There was a little town near the airport where she dropped by for a good breakfast earlier, but even when she was already full, her stomach felt empty as her drive moved deeper and deeper into the forest. Soon, she caught sight of a big manor-like infrastructure and she knew she had arrived at her destination.

When she descended in the car, she was welcomed by a familiar figure and Dannah walked toward him for a curtsy.

"I'm glad you came third miss," The man smiled at her. It was Edmund Huang, her sister's fiance and looking at him now, Dannah was kind of amazed at how he looked, or rather on how his physical appearance changed. Gone was the trace of luxury in him, but oddly, he looked like a fulfilled man.

The last news she had with him was that his family had long abandoned him but because of his engagement with her sister, he was able to keep his title as the heir of the Huangs for a little while. However after what happened in Puente De Amor and Dian coming out as a criminal, for sure the Huang's wiped him off for good in their family.

"It's been a long time young master Huang," Dian greeted him.

"Just call me Edmund. I'm just Edmund Long right now. I'm not anymore a Huang, nor anyone's young master," He replied with a sincere smile as if that doesn't matter to him anymore.

For some reasons, Dannah pitied him but with the kind of smile he was flashing on her, it was hard to say he had a bad end. He must have lost his title and his surname but he liked the kind of aura he had right then as well as his politeness. It was like he was a changed man. He was not the Edmund Huang everyone knew before.

"Thank you for coming here," Edmund extended his gratitude for Dannah's visit and politely guided Dannah inside the manor. "I thought you wouldn't come provided the fact that the Lagdameo's made it clear already their position toward your sister. If not for her situation right now, she would have been sent straight to prison. Although I don't think this place is any better than prison,"

Edmund was right. The place they were in right now was no better than prison. It was an assylum, a place for people with the worst case of mental illness and Dian was here. She survived Dannah's gun shot in the bridge as it turned out, even in the pit of her anger and frustration, the third miss chose not to kill her sister. Dannah shot her in the part where she knew she would survive. After the accident, she was the first to recover but not fully. When she woke up, Dian wasn't herself anymore and she was diagnosed with a severe mental illness that she was recommended to be in an asylum right away.

"I understand you have something important to tell me," Dannah replied. Earlier today, Edmund managed to call her and convinced her to come. She was hesitant because right then she was not ready to see her sister and especially when she learned that she was not in a good state of mind these days. They said it would be hard for Dian to recover anymore that's why she was sent right through here instead of a regular mental hospital.

"Yes I do. But first, I wish you to meet someone," Edmund revealed and the way he said it, Dannah had some chills.

"Edmund, if its my sister, I'm nor really ready to—"

"It's not your sister I wish you to meet," Edmund promised and there was a fresh kind of smile that went on the man's face that warmed Dannah's heart in an odd good way. Soon, they arrived in a certain room covered by glass windows and Edmund stopped to look through it as if he was looking at something.

"Here she is," Edmund told Dannah, asking her to look through the same and there on another side was a rectangular glass box with a tiny baby, kicking through all the little wires attached to her fighting for her right to live in this beautiful world. She wiggled as her audience looked at her and at one point she opened her eyes and Dannah's heart felt an unusual beat.

The baby looked right through her and she saw Scar's eyes. She was Scar's baby.
