"Then why is she here?" She noticed the baby was a girl and so she was able to properly refer to her in the midst of all her uncertainties. Dannah thought that if her family, the Lagdameo, knew about the birth of this child, they would not allow under any circ.u.mstances that she be born in the outskirts—in the middle of nowhere. They would certainly make sure the baby was well tended as she was another heir to be celebrated about, no matter how grave her mother's crime was. "Only your Franco knows about her," Edmund started clarifying things. "When your relatives knew of what she did, they all condemned her. Nobody visited her in her private room aside from your mother. Besides, Dian was so hostile after she woke up that she was immediately recommended to be sent here. Edmund sighed deep, as if he was drawing more courage within before he continued, "So….I had been asking this to your uncle but he was undecided then and since he transferred the responsibility to you, I would like to ask you third miss, if you could possibly allow me, Edmund Long, to take care of this baby… I would promise to raise her with all the best that I could if you would just give me a chance,"
