The moment they arrived in Darryl's household, a physician came to check on Xhemin. For moments, the Lagdameo heir stood outside their room, walking back and forth, wondering if what the seer said was true. He wanted to hope for it although he knew it was somehow impossible to happen. How could Xhemin get pregnant when he was impotent?

Darryl stared at the door in their room. Was it bad to hope for something impossible? He already has his wife and children back. That was enough for him and yet their peaceful life had been shaken with the hope that another child will be given to them. It's not that he didn't want it, he just didn't want to make everyone expect for something and be upset to know it was impossible to have later on.

Soon, the door opened and the physician came. He was a local physician from Baruk Tam's household and he was called on by Maru to check on the healer right away. The women—princess Song and Maru as well as the handmaid's were inside the room and only Darryl was outside waiting as he couldn't bear to hear things upfront.

"Hero," The physician acknowledged his presence.

"What is happening to my wife? Is she sick?" Darryl asked then, hoping that she indeed was sick. It wasn't something serious.

"Congratulations hero, your wife is with a child," He announced and the moment Darryl heard it, he ran immediately inside and found everyone beaming at him with wide smiles. Everyone from Princess Song, Maru and the handmaid's looked at him with thorough joy and happiness. "Congratulations hero,"

Knowing that the couple needed time for themselves, the ladies left the room, leaving only Darryl and his wife. Xhemin was half lying on bed as her head leaned on the headboard and she extended a hand to make Darryl come closer. Darryl of course accepted it and sat beside her with thorough incredulity.

"I couldn't believe it. Do you think this is a dream?" Xhemin told him as her hands ċȧrėssed her stomach.

"Certainly not milady," Darryl answered as he made her lean on him and kissed her head. He was still surprised that he didn't know much of what to say. "However it left me wondering how,"

"Perhaps Illa Durray was right. Perhaps indeed what Princess Lana offered to you was the cure," Xhemin told him. "What is it by the way? What did Princess Lana offered to you,"

"A wild gin," Darryl confessed as the memory of that night ran over his head. "However she didn't know it was a wild gin. She thought it was only a wine,"

"You drank a wild gin again? With your brothers?" Xhemin confronted him. "I told you guys to stop messing around the wild again. How could you and Enoch not listen to me,"

"But milady, don't you think it is the cure?" Darryl raised his suspicions. "If Illa Durray was right then it means the wild gin is the cure to the staw serum's side effects,"

Xhemin thought about it for a second as she threaded all the information she got altogether. "Perhaps. If that is the case, we need to study the wild gin and reproduce more so your family in the mainland can have it too. If it is the cure, it is a must that your sister and the whole Lagdameo clan can have it,"

"Do you think Enoch will allow you to study it? He told me before it was very hard to make and produce a wild gin that's why it is only exclusive in the chieftain's household,"

"I only need a little to study it. If it is really the cure then I'll try to find ways to reproduce it on my own," Xhemin replied, determined. Finally she found another thing to research, hoping Enoch will allow it.

"Don't think about that now," Darryl touched her hand that was on her stomach. "This baby is our priority now so don't think on starting off another research until you give birth and recovered,"

"Of course," Xhemin answered and beamed at him. "Are you happy?"

Only with such a question Darryl's face lit up as an expression of sincere happiness flushed through his handsome visage. "Of course I am happy milady," He then took Xhemin's hand and kissed. "I'm specifically thankful that I had been given a chance to experience your pregnancy. The last time you were pregnant I wasn't at your side, I didn't know things went and didn't get to experience this whole pregnancy thing. Now, I'll make sure I'll be at your side every moment. I will take care of you and our baby,"

"I know you will," Xhemin kissed his cheeks, very thankful for his affection. "Thank you my love,"

"Are you feeling comfortable?" Darryl asked as he noticed that although Xhemin was happy, her eyes showed some hesitation. "Are you nervous or something,"

"Nothing really," Xhemin replied, yet her worry became evident in her voice. "It's just that….."

"Are you worried something will happen like before?" Darryl knew it was the reason, the shudder in Xhemin's shoulder made him think so, making Darryl sigh. To ease her worry, he tapped Xhemin's head and started ċȧrėssing her silky hair. "Perhaps what happened before gave you trauma. Don't worry I'll make sure you and the baby is safe this time,"

"I know. I know my love. It's just that Manggan Island isn't that advanced. If complications arise—that's the thing I'm worried about," Xhemin expressed her concern. Darryl was right, she was indeed traumatized about what happened in her previous pregnancy and she was anxious then that if the same thing will happen, nothing in the island might save them.

"Don't worry about it. I'll make arrangements for it so don't worry, okay?" Darryl ȧssured her. "I'll make sure you are comfortable in any way. Right now just rest and think of nothing but our baby,"

"Alright," Xhemin was comforted by his husband. She chose to trust her husband this time as she knew things were different from before and Darryl would do anything in his power to make sure they were safe.

"Thank you, milady. You have made me the happiest man in the world," Darryl told her, especially grateful for the life his wife was carrying for him. "I love you very much,"

"I love you too, my Lagdameo heir," Xhemin replied and reached for his lips. She kissed him but Darryl took over the kiss and even held on her chin to taste her more. They kissed deeply and passionately to celebrate their love and the fruit of it. Right then, there was nothing more important in the world but her, him and their children and they were especially grateful for how far their love had reached so far and how strong it went with all the trials and sufferings that crushed their way.

"Appa! Imma!" Their two children run toward the bed to welcome the two. They were left in the Chieftain's care but they rushed home when they heard about the news about their mother carrying their sibling.

"Is it true? Is it true?" The kids happily confronted them. Willow and Wolfe's little faces were so bright and cute Xhemin couldn't help but adore them.

"Ah, my children are so beautiful," Xhemin said and cued them both to climb on the bed. Willow however, climbed on Darryl's ŀȧp and only Wolfe climbed to the bed and put his ears in their mother's stomach.

"What do you hear?" Willow asked her brother.

"Nothing. Just a thud-thud-thud," Wolfe replied to her and this made their parents laugh.

"It is true my little ones, you are going to be a big sister and a big brother," Darryl told them both and both couldn't help their excitement and joy they let loose a loud, "Yes! Yehey!"

Their room then was filled with laughter and joy. Willow and Wolfe giggled with joy. They were pretty excited that they were going to have a sibling as there was never a baby in the Dugmochs house.

"Appa I'm so happy I could cry," Willow confessed while she held on to her father.

"Me too," Wolfe agreed.

"Come here you both and give Imma a hug. It's okay to cry," Xhemin was getting a little emotional too and yet when the warm hug of her children wrapped her, it soothed her heart. Darryl too joined with the hug as he kissed his children and his wife.

That day was the happiest in the hero's household and probably the happiest in Xhemin and Darryl's life. They held onto each other—Darryl's family with a promise that whatever may come again in their lives, they will face it together as a family.

Xhemin, the little Miss of the Dugmoch's household was finally free to love and be happy without carrying the burden of protecting her family and siblings.

Darryl, the great Lagdameo heir, was able to fight for the woman he loved until the end.

Wolfe and Willow, the children who grew up in hiding, finally return to their parent's arms.

This was their happy ending.
