"Healer, that cart was loaded with some books and things professor Owens left in my care," Bitbit announced. "Before he died, he told me to burn this stuff in case something happens to him but I wasn't able to do so because I find it very odd that just after he told me that, he went missing in the forest"

"What?" Xhemin became more surprised. Professor Owen's had Bitbbit hid these things before he died? But why? Was he anticipating his death that he had time to secure these things before he was lost and got eaten by the wild?

Xhemin immediately ran toward the Cart and attempted to check it but Bitbit had secured it tight so she couldn't do so. "What are these things Bitbit? Are these all of Professor's research? I had seen his works in the east mountain, never thought he had more,"

"Actually healer, these things are not owned by professor Owens," Bitbit revealed. "You owned these books and stuff. He took this from your old house when you left the island,"

"My things?" Xhemin marveled at how peculiar the situation was. She never had any important valuables on the island that she left so she was all wondering what it was. Also, how controversial could these be that the professor had instructed to burn it down.

"Yes Healer. This was also the reason why I brought this back to you and was not able to burn it down. Aside from it belonging to you, I don't really believe the Professor died in the wild. These might be connected to his death,"

"Oh Bitbit," Xhemin felt his pain. The professor had treated Bitbit well, almost like his own son already so he could not really blame why the man wanted to know the truth behind his death and so this must be the reason why he brought these things back to her, for he knew, she was the only person who believes it was impossible for the professor to just die like that. "I'm sorry for the loss of Bitbit. I know he was really special to you,"

"I bring these back to you with hopes that you can find the truth behind his death," Bitbit hoped. "I'm sorry healer I know you are pregnant right now and don't have time for this but—"

"Don't worry. Just don't tell anyone about it," Xhemin cut her off as no one can stop her from getting to the truth. "If someone asked what your brought me, just tell them you returned to me some old stuff the professor borrowed,"

"Of course healer," Bitbit bowed and ready to leave. "I wish I could stay a bit longer but you see, I'm a Gunta now. I had to go back right away to the camp,"

"I'm already glad you came and visited," Xhemin did not withhold him any longer as she too knew how important the jobs of the Guntas are and how hard their rules and training were. "The Highest God bless you in your way back,"

"Thank you healer," Bitbit made his last bows and left with his horse. Xhemin then asked the handmaiden to carry all the sacks Bibit brought in her study. Darryl had kept her old study too, although of course, it was all stone built now. However all her old stuff was there and she had never thought something was missing with what she had there. She wondered then what Professor Owens took when she never lost any.

Xhemin closed the door and started untying the sack, when she opened it, she took what's inside one by one and scrutinize them only to find that these things indeed were here in her study before, although she don't owned them—these were the things she took from the devil's lure that she never got to read and checked!

Seeing all of it, she was reminded of the mystery of the Devil's lure. The graveyard site, the peculiar house, the Acamilla Apparaus and the identity of the person who loved there was indeed something she had never uncovered yet. What is Professor Owen's connection with all those things? Was his death connected with it?

With great curiosity, Xhemin took everything out of the sack. There were two sacks then and all were loaded with all those notes and handwritten books. There were too many to read at once and so she only choose one to read first. She grabbed one big bulk but as soon as she took it, something fell on the floor. It was a red notebook. Little but bulky and a fishtail was drawn on its cover. This caught Xhemin's attention so she took the book and decided to read it first. She sat down on her chair and started reading then.

When Xhemin opened it, she realized it was like a journal or some writings of someone.

"Dear Luna," She started.

When Darryl reached their house, Xhemin's handmaiden told her the healer had locked herself in her study. He went to check on her then but when he opened the door, he was surprised to see Xhemin sitting on one corner, reading a book while tears were falling in her eyes.

This got Darryl in panic and so made full hasty strides to comfort her. "Milady, what happened? What are all these?"

"Tatta…" Xhemin looked at Darryl in a very complicated expression. "I think I found her….not her...pieces of her…"

Xhemin's answer sponsored a confusion on Darryl's face. "Who are you talking about, milady? Who made my beautiful wife cry?"

"The girl…. The girl Huzey was looking for…." Xhemin sniffed. "I think she's from the Devil's lure,"

Her words only made Darryl more confused. "Xhemin, how could that woman be from Manggan Island? She might be mysterious but—"

"I don't know. I'm not even sure if it was her but whoever owned this thing sure was the person who was helping Huzey. She's the one, I'm very sure of it. I have a big feeling it was her, she had been watching us ever since she was young and her last entry was when she left the island with plans on helping Huzey,"

Darryl tried to check what Xhemin was talking about and realized that she was not talking nonsense. He too looked at Xhemin complicated and took the journal to read further.

"We need to send this to Huzey," Xhemin asked him too. "He needs to know,"
