Days' later

Mainland

The Montarini manor was dark and gloomy. Huzey was in the wine room, filling himself with the taste of alcohol  even when it was still very early to do so. Each day he spent not being able to find the woman he was looking for only made him more miserable that he ended up clinging to the liquor to somewhat forget it.

As he went on and drowned himself, the door opened and Ziggy entered. He sighed at the sight of him and decided to sit beside the Montarini prince and join him.

"It is still early," Huzey told him when he noticed him pouring  himself some drink.

"Yet you were drinking already. How can I beat you if I come later?" Ziggy responded.

"Don't you have work to do?"

"I quit work," Ziggy announced.

Huzey turned to look at Ziggy and scrutinized him. "Does it mean your approval to enter the island has been approved?"

Ziggy nodded his head in agreement. "I convinced the Lagdameo heir to give me some recommendations,"

"That's good. You need to make sure Xhemin is alright. Her previous pregnancy didn't go well. Why are they staying on the island anyway when Xhemin was pregnant? They should have come home and made her give birth to her. Darryl I believe has some great influence, he can enter and leave as he likes, why not his family?"

"Let the couple be," ZIggy told him. "They know what they are doing,"

"I know, I'm just worried about Xhemin," He said and poured himself another glass of wine.

Ziggy was the one who turned to him this time and gave him a look. Huzey noticed his indifference and so he raised a brow. "What?"

The Montreal sire smirked, drank a portion of his drink and said, "When you start coming here and drown yourself with liquor, I thought it was because of your heartbreak of Xhemin. Only now did I realize it wasn't. You are frustrated because you kind find that red haired woman,"

Huzey shrugged. "I'm hurt too that Xhemin didn't chose me,"

"Lies," ZIggy could see through him. "You were frustrated because you thought you love Xhemin more than anything only to find out you harbored more feelings and love for the woman you cannot find,"

"You are guilty. You are guilty because you came back and confessed to Xhemin with the intention of fighting for your love but when you figured out that the red haired woman is real and that she existed, your love for her rose above your feelings for Xhemin. That's the truth," Ziggy splashed his thoughts about him withholding nothing. "You don't have to feel guilty you know, Xhemin herself said she didn't consider choosing you. That's fair. You broke your ode to her, she confessed she doesn't love you enough. Fair and square, the ending is that you are not meant for each other,"

"You now what, this actually reminded me of what Mr. Gem previously taught us about love," Zoggy added further and recalled the day when they went to the conference. "He said first love makes us mȧturė but the last makes us complete,"

"Xhemin did help you mȧturė, she was your first love," For a few minutes only Ziggy's voice could be heard in that room while Huzey was drinking mercilessly as if his glass was bottomless. "But she does not make you complete. For if she does, you won't go and look for that woman. Xhemin might be your happiness, but that woman, that mysterious red haired woman is your life. You are miserable without her."

"I'm not thinking about Xhemin these days," Huzey confessed, almost like saying what Ziggy told was indeed true.

"I know...you are thinking about her," Ziggy announced, sighing. If only he had any whereabouts about her, perhaps he could help.

"Would I ever find her?" Huzey asked desperately.

"Did you consider the fact that perhaps she didn't want to be found?"

"Why? Why would she leave like that, leaving me with nothing? What am I to her? Just some helpless man she took pity on, that's why she helped me?"

"We knew nothing of her Huzey," Ziggy tried to push some sense to him. He could see he was becoming miserable each day because of that woman, like she cannot live with her. God! He never thought their connection was this deep but nothing surprises him then as that invisible woman sure was full of surprises in her sleeves. "Perhaps she had her reasons why she didn't want to be found. Perhaps she did not really intend for you to find her because of she does—"

"Why because I'm not worthy?"

"You know for a fact that isn't true.." Ziggy tried to dismiss such negative perceptions he had.

"Then why?"Huzey was so frustrated he ended up throwing his glass on the wall hard. The sound of a breaking glass then filled the room. "Why the heck did she trespass my life and leave like nothing happened?"

"Relax Huzey!" Ziggy went and comforted him. "I'm sorry you have to go through this. I'm sorry I can't help you with anything but you know, she must have good reasons for now showing herself but it wasn't because you are not worthy. There's something else, I know that, something more reasonable than this,"

"I want to see her Ziggy," Huze was begging for it. "I'm worried she didn't show up because something happened to her. I'm worried she might not come back,"

Ziggy wanted to answer but suddenly the door opened and a servant hesitantly came. The servant didn't intend to disturb them but something came that needed some attention.

"What is it?" Ziggy asked.

"Ahmm.. sire, senorito.. A parcel from Manggan Island came. It's from the little miss, the ministry sent it with urgency saying the little miss needed you to read it,"

"Bring it here," Ziggy instructed and looked at Huzey complicatedly. If the parcel was sent in the Montarini manor then it means it was intended for Huzey. What's there on the island for Huzey?
