I slashed my sword multiple times towards the protective array which cracked the array until there was a huge hole that appeared.
I finally broke through the protective array!
I went inside the huge hole and was brought to the other side of the forest.
I scanned the surroundings and saw a forest slime king and there was a human inside of it.
I took a closer look and saw that Distere was inside the forest slime king while his kitchen knife was beside him.
"I thought Ferros was inside the forest slime king?"
*Ferros Malum is temporarily safe and he will die in at least 6 minutes due to the sticky slime that was inside his trachea rendering him unable to breathe.*
I observed where Ferros was located and discovered that Ferros was behind the forest slime king.
There were traces of sticky slime that was splattered on and around Ferros.
It had seemed that Distere had tried to save Ferros by pushing him out of the forest slime king's body.
It was the best choice so far considering Distere specializes in physical knife attacks and it might harm Ferros if he tried to destroy the moving core inside the forest slime king.
By doing so, he would risk his life to save Ferros which would at least prolong Ferros' life until someone would heal him.
It was also a dumb idea since it would be possible that no one would save both Ferros and Distere in time.
The outcome of his action would be unfavorable for the one who would defeat the forest slime king since Distere only removed Ferros out of the forest slime king's body but not himself.
It would hinder me in attacking the forest slime king's core since Distere was inside.
I might as well thought of a brilliant idea to handle the current problem.
The forest slime king wasn't planning on attacking me even though it had already noticed my presence.
I channeled my mana into my eyes to improve my sight in detecting the flow of mana.
I saw that the forest slime king was absorbing the mana of Distere.
"System, when will be Distere's death if he stayed inside the forest slime king's body?"
*Distere Krias would suffer mana loss in 3 minutes and would die in 10 minutes because of suffocation.*
It appeared that Distere had more time to live than Ferros so I needed to save Ferros first before I save Distere.
I ran towards the forest slime king and went behind it where Ferros was located at.
Even though I had gone near the forest slime king, it still did not decide to attack me.
I went towards Ferros and crouched to see Ferros up close.
I checked Ferros' condition and it seemed that he was okay for now but as the system had said, he might die in about 5 minutes.
I placed my hand towards Ferros and transferred my mana towards Ferros' body to recover his mana.
I channeled my mana towards Ferros' body and circulated it around his body to locate the sticky slime that was stuck inside him.
I found out that some of the forest slime king's sticky slime was stuck in Ferros' throat, ears, nose, lungs, and even his stomach.
It was my utmost priority to remove the sticky slime that blocked Ferros' air passageway.
I placed my hand on Ferros' chest and transferred my mana inside his body.
I manipulated my mana towards Ferros' lungs and expelled the sticky slime inside his lungs through his nose.
I manipulated my mana again to remove the sticky slime that remained inside Ferros' body until none was left.
The sticky slime came out of Ferros' mouth and nose which slip into the ground using my mana to remove its sticky texture.
Ferros was temporarily out of harm's way but I still needed to increase his blood flow, stabilize his breathing and provide him with more mana.
I transferred some of my mana to Ferros to recover his mana.
I thrust my palm towards Ferros' chest to increase his heartbeat.
What Ferros lack now was oxygen. I didn't want to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to give him oxygen.
I controlled my mana, used it to collect the air around the surroundings, and contained it in a mana sphere.
I purified the air inside the mana sphere by using my mana to remove the other chemical elements that constituted the air such as nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
When all of the air inside the mana sphere was only composed of oxygen, I made a small funnel from the mana sphere that was extended up to Ferros' lungs.
I slowly released the oxygen inside Ferros' lungs and manually controlled his breathing using my mana until Ferros' lungs involuntarily breathe the oxygen.
After checking that Ferros had steady breathing and he was no longer in harm's way, I checked to see if Distere was still alive inside the forest slime king.
"System, is Ferros still in danger?"
I asked the system to double-checked if Ferros was fine or not.
*Ferros Malum is no longer in danger but Distere is still in danger. Distere Krias only has 4 minutes to live before he dies because of suffocation.*
I shan't waste my time any longer! Foster's might die at this rate if I don't use all of my power!
I needed to pull his body out of the forest slime king's body first before I could defeat the forest slime king.
I ran towards the forest slime king at full speed which broke the sound barrier.
I plunged my hand inside the forest slime king's body, grabbed Distere's hand, and pulled him out of the forest slime king's body.
I used all of my power to forcefully pull Distere out of the forest slime king's body since it was hard to pull Distere from the forest slime king's body that was covered in sticky slime.
Fortunately, the forest slime king didn't notice me while I'm at full speed so I was able to remove Distere out of its body without any mishaps.
After I remove Distere from the forest slime king's body, I carried Distere in a princess carry position and escaped from the forest slime king.
I threw Distere near the end of the protective array and went back to grab Ferros that was behind the forest slime king.
Unfortunately, the forest slime king had already noticed that Distere was no longer inside its body so it tried to find the perpetrator.
I was lucky enough that I was able to escape within the forest slime king's sight so I went to pick up Ferros.
I successfully grabbed Ferros and escaped within the forest slime king's attack range without getting caught due to using all of my speed.
I placed Ferros near Distere but I got noticed by the forest slime king.
The forest slime king jiggled its body and started to create sticky slime balls so I quickly went out of where Ferros and Distere were located to avoid them getting attacked by the forest slime king.
After I ran off 2 meters away from Ferros and Distere, the forest slime king hurled multiple sticky slime balls which I easily dodged due to my fast speed.
The forest slime king kept on attacking me while I on the other hand kept on dodging its attack.
I decided to delay time for either Ferros or Distere to wake up and assist me in getting against the forest slime king.
I checked to see my mana points using the status screen and saw that I only had 10% left of its mana.
I was left with no choice but to dodge the attacks of the forest slime king without relying on my magic skills until I had enough mana to eliminate the forest slime king.
The forest slime king had given up on attacking me with its sticky slime balls and decided to attack Ferros and Distere instead.
The forest slime king shot several balls of sticky slimes towards Ferros and Distere.
I intercepted its attack by creating mana bullets to eliminate the balls of sticky slimes.
The forest slime king kept on attacking Ferros and Distere which made me consume my mana just to intercept its attack to protect both Distere and Ferros.
The mana that I consumed to create mana bullets wasn't able to keep up with my mana recovery rate which led me to slowly deplete my mana points.
I successfully intercepted all attacks of the forest slime king which made it even furious that it started to create a massive ball of sticky slime that was at least half the size of its body.
Of course, I didn't let the forest slime king complete its attack by creating several mana bullets towards its attack.
Unfortunately, the mana bullets only left multiple holes on the massive ball of sticky slime and were again filled with sticky slime.
As the forest slime king was starting to release the massive ball of sticky slime towards Distere and Ferros, I used most of my mana to create an earth wall.
The forest slime king released the massive ball of sticky slime and my earth wall wasn't able to block it off completely.
Half of the attack was left and headed towards Distere and Ferros.
Before it's the attack was able to come into contact with Distere and Ferros, Ferros stood up and forwarded his right hand which destroyed the huge ball of sticky slime that the forest slime king had launched.
