I witnessed the expressions of the junior heroes which were combined with boredom, exhaustion, and expectation.
It seemed that most of them had already expected that there would be a boss fight after they defeated the mini-boss which was the level 1,500 monster.
I signaled my hand from up above and the water wyvern heeded my command.
The water wyvern descended from the sky into the hole that I had opened from the protective array.
The junior heroes had already recovered all of their strength so they were a bit confident in fighting against the water wyvern.
Some of the junior heroes already had a tired and bored look on their face which indicated that they wanted to deal with it and be done with it.
"This would be your last test! Defeat the level 4000 water wyvern that wasted some of my time just to find this monster!"
A few of the junior heroes had a fearful expression on their face especially Satomi who had expected that he would be in another hell of a pain.
Most of the junior heroes were thrilled to fight against the level 4000 water wyvern especially Alex and Distere.
Ferros and Catherine weren't thrilled nor afraid of the water wyvern but just wary of it so they performed a fighting stance and waited for the water wyvern to attack.
Grace was still unconscious but it was none of my business to take care of her so I didn't bother waking her up.
"If you successfully defeat the level 4000 water wyvern, then each of you will receive a mythical rank skill scroll and legendary rank artifact."
The morale of the junior heroes was boosted after I had told them about the rewards for defeating the water wyvern.
I would just ask for Mathew's help in obtaining the mythical rank skill scroll and legendary rank artifact and by obtaining, I meant stealing.
"If you failed to defeat the level 4000 water wyvern, then don't think of getting out of the Monster's Abode alive! I'll give you another set of hellish training if you can't defeat that wyvern! That is all!"
After I had warned the junior heroes of the outcome if they failed to defeat the level 4000 water wyvern, I flew up and entered the hole in the protective array.
I left the level 4000 water wyvern with the junior heroes and closed the hole in the protective barrier.
Afterward, I reinforced the protective array and removed the obscuring array so that the junior heroes would be able to fight the water wyvern without getting lost and prevent the junior heroes from escaping.
It was also to protect the forest from the attacks of the junior heroes and prevent it from being destroyed.
My teammates and I were now spectating the battle of the junior heroes against the level 4000 water wyvern.

After Axel had left, the level 4000 water wyvern awaited our attacks.
"Catherine, use your nature magic to manipulate the grass from below, transform it into thick vines and use the thick vines to bind the water wyvern!"
I commanded Catherine so she quickly started chanting and the grass below the water wyvern shone.
"Ferros, your job is to counter any attack that the water wyvern had launched against us! Use your destruction magic to destroy any obstacle that the water wyvern had used to block us!"
Ferros nodded and went in front of our team formation.
"Distere, you and I will focus on attacking the water wyvern using long-range attacks by using our air blades attack! The two of us would also protect Ferros' blind spots if the water wyvern launched an attack against him!"
Distere agreed by showing a thumbs-up sign, took out his kitchen knife, imbued his mana towards his kitchen knife, and performed a fighting stance.
"Satomi, you will be our bait in luring the water wyvern and distracting it so that you would be able to create openings for us to attack the water wyvern's blind spots!"
Satomi was reluctant but still agreed after I told him the benefits of being the team's meat shield and the benefits of defeating the water wyvern.

"Distere and Catherine, the three of us will keep tabs on Grace's condition so that we would know if she was attacked or not. It's better to be safe than sorry. We can't afford any casualties in this battle. After all, we haven't fought against the demons yet!"
After I had said that, Distere and Catherine nodded and I checked our team's formation.
Grace was behind the five of us and Catherine was in front of Grace.
Catherine was behind Distere and me I and Ferros were in front of the four of us.
Satomi was several meters in front of Ferros while he is in front of the five of us.
Our team's formation seemed to be prepared to withstand the attacks of the water wyvern so I commanded Catherine to activate her nature magic.
Catherine activated her nature magic which caused the grass below the water wyvern to grow exponentially and the grass transformed into thick green vines.
The thick green vines wrapped around the water wyvern which bounded the water wyvern and it pulled the water wyvern into the ground.
Satomi charged towards the water wyvern, jumped up, and formed his fist.
Satomi landed on his fist first on the water wyvern's snout.
Satomi's attack caused the water wyvern to growl in anger and the water wyvern struggled to break free from the thick green vines that bounded the water wyvern on the ground.
Satomi kept on punching the water wyvern's snout and occasionally its eyes which further made the water wyvern furious.
The water wyvern was driven in anger that caused his strength to increase and the thick green vines showed signs of being torn apart.
Some of the thick green vines were torn and most of the thick green vines could no longer bound the water wyvern.
"Distere, the two of us will launch our attack after the water wyvern breaks free! Don't worry about hitting Satomi with our attacks since he's immortal."
Distere and nodded and started to concentrate his mana towards his kitchen knife.
I materialized a sword using my mana and channeled some of my mana towards my mana blade.
I prepared my attack, performed a fighting stance, and waited for the water wyvern to break free from the thick green vines.
Satomi assaulted the water wyvern with countless punches into the water wyvern's head, snout, and eyes that even made Satomi's hands bleed.
The water wyvern struggled to break free from the thick green vines while being assaulted with an attack by Satomi.
The water wyvern gathered mana into his body which further increased his strength.
A few seconds after the water wyvern increased its strength, the water wyvern tore most of the thick green vines until it broke free.
"Distere, attack now!"
I yelled to Distere and Distere listened to what I had said.
At the same time, Distere and I created air blades by generating enough force into our weapons, adding a bit of mana into our weapon, and releasing it into the water wyvern.
Distere and I quickly slashed through the air which made Ferros dodged our attacks.
Satomi wasn't that fortunate and since he was near the water wyvern, some of Distere and my air blade attacks hit Satomi and the water wyvern.
As soon as the air blade attacks landed on Satomi, it passed through him which sliced off his body into pieces.
On the other hand, the air blade attacks only left a small dent on the water wyvern's scale.
Distere and my air blade attacks left a small wound on the water wyvern and it should be approximately 2 centimeters deep.
Distere and my attacks hadn't inflicted any harm on the water wyvern's body but only its scales were slightly penetrated.
Even a drop of the water wyvern's blood wasn't shed by our attacks so I couldn't say for sure that my teammates and I had the upper hand.
Satomi had revived and was now continuing his attacks on the water wyvern.
Satomi's attack irritated the water wyvern which caused the water wyvern to release a roar.
The water wyvern's roar blew Satomi several meters away from it which caused Satomi to land behind Grace.
Catherine cast her nature magic to grow the grass near the water wyvern to turn into thick green vines.
Catherine transformed the thick green grass into thorns which she then manipulated to pierce the water wyvern's body.
Unfortunately, Catherine's attack wasn't able to penetrate the water wyvern's scale due to the water wyvern's outstanding defense.
I signaled Distere to attack the water wyvern and luckily he understood my signal.
Distere and I performed countless air blade attacks towards the water wyvern and the water wyvern's defense was penetrated centimeter by centimeter.
Finally, Distere and my combined attacks caused the water wyvern to bleed.
The water wyvern wailed in pain and retaliated by charging a water element attack in its mouth.
"The water wyvern is going to attack! Prepare our team's defense formation!"
