The Great Sages possessed immense power and understanding about their respective profession and it would almost be impossible for anyone to defeat them in their profession.
The Great Sage Of Knowledge was mentioned in a book as a Great Sage that was obsessed with finding the answer to all questions he could think of.
It was understandable that the Great Sage Of Knowledge wrote the hundred paged book since he possessed immense knowledge but his intentions of writing the hundred paged book were still not clear to me.
It's possible that he wrote the hundred paged book just to keep track of the monsters' characteristics that he had found out.
It's also possible that he got bored and used his spare time to write anything he knew about the high-level monsters.
"What if, he was forced by someone to write this hundred paged book?"
Axel 2 told me his hypothesis about the reason why the Great Sage Of Knowledge wrote the hundred paged book.
"I'm not so sure about that. It's very unlikely for a Great Sage to be forced by someone. Unless another Great Sage or a much higher existence forced the Great Sage Of Knowledge."

I'm not that sure how many Great Sages were still alive in this world.
The Great Sages were an equal existence to the demon race's demon ancestor.
After all, it was mentioned in the legends that the Great Sages and the demon ancestors were from the same generations.
It wouldn't be surprising if the Great Sages and the Demon Ancestors were possibly acquaintances and if not, friends considering that there had not been a war against other races a thousand years ago.
Of course, it doesn't mean that there wasn't a war against people from the same race since the internal conflict was inevitable.
Humans were greedy creatures that wouldn't be satisfied with what they currently have so it was already a miracle that the humans in this world didn't wage war with the other races a thousand years ago.
For now, I haven't read anything about an existence above a Great Sage and a Demon Ancestor except for the beings beyond the boundary or also known as demi-gods.
I had read that the demi-gods weren't technically demi-gods but comparable in terms of power and existence towards demi-gods.
Only a being could be called a demi-god if the said being was a child between a God and a Mortal.
Although, it's almost impossible to meet a genuine demi-god since the demi-gods had been living with the Gods in the Divine Realm after they were born or come of age.
In this generation, it was now deemed as impossible for another demi-god to come of existence since the Gods no longer could descend towards other planets.
The cause of God's inability to descend to any planets was still unknown for now, or that's what I knew.
