As I finished observing the barrier, I launched the numerous compressed mana bullets that were beside me towards the human kingdom.
Numerous compressed mana bullets bombarded the demonic mana barrier that shrouded the entire human kingdom.
I kept on creating numerous compressed mana bullets while shooting them at high speed towards the demonic mana barrier as if I was using a machine gun loaded with compressed mana bullets.
The demonic mana contained in the barrier was depleting constantly at a fast pace as I didn't stop bombarding it using numerous compressed mana bullets.
After a minute worth of attacking the demonic mana barrier with the use of compressed air bullets, the demonic mana barrier had run out of demonic mana to keep on repairing the damage that I had dealt.
The demonic mana that surrounded the entire human kingdom slowly dissipated which showed numerous demons walking on the streets of the human kingdom.
It seemed that the demonic mana barrier wasn't only used as a defensive measure but also to hide the demons inside it.
Inside the human kingdom, demons were enslaving the humans that must have been the residents of the human kingdom.
I also saw some people wearing fancy clothes being tied up at the center of the kingdom while some demons were holding sharp weapons.
I wasn't sure if those people wearing fancy clothes were the royal family but I do know that those people would be executed in public by the demons that were holding sharp weapons.
A burly demon clad in heavy iron armor wielded a huge battle-ax. The burly demon placed the huge battle-ax near the neck of a male human adult wearing a crown on its head.
There were a lot of demons that crowded the execution place and all of them were cheering as they were waiting for the burly demon to decapitate the male human adult that looked like a king.
If that person was indeed the king, then I might as well save him. Why? Because he would be useful for me.
If he was the king, then I could use him as a puppet ruler of his kingdom and enslave him for all I care.
I had planned to enslave the beastman king of Eldion but I didn't need to since my criminal slaves have already dominated his kingdom.
"Do we save them or wait for the demons to decapitate that man?"
Mathew asked me as he started to withdraw some potions and chug them down his mouth.
"I'll save him while the rest of you make sure that our guide won't die. It will be troublesome if our guide dies."
I replied to Mathew's question while I commanded my teammates to protect Reinbach.
After I finished talking to my teammates, I used wind magic to fly towards the human kingdom at the speed of sound which caused shockwaves to generate.
I zoomed towards the center of the human kingdom as I witnessed the burly demon clad in heavy armor raised a huge battle-ax and aimed it towards the human adult that wore a crown on its head.
The humans that were also tied up with the human adult had a priceless look on their faces. They were tearing up while some of them couldn't bear to see that the human adult would die.
After I had enough of looking at their pathetic state, I increased my speed further to the point that I had created a speed burst which caused me to land head first on the ground beside the burly demon.
The burly demons and the demons that have watched the execution were shocked to see that I fell on the sky and interrupted the human adult's execution.
I used wind magic to fly my body out of the ground as I flew to remove my head from the ground. Due to my high defense stats, I wasn't injured by my fall.
I then landed on the ground feet first this time while I pat my shoulder to remove the dust on it.
"What are you doing here, you goblin brat! Are you siding with the humans? Have you forgotten that monsters like you are allies of our race?"
The burly demon kept on yapping about some sh*t I didn't bother on listening so I just yawned out of boredom.
The burly demon had veins popping out of its head as he was furious about my disrespect towards him.
I didn't even plan on respecting the demon lords themselves so why would I bother on respecting the henchmen of the demon lords?
"You brat! Prepare to die!"
The burly demon swiftly swung his huge battle-ax towards my head while I easily saw through his movements because of my insane amount of speed stats.
I intercepted the huge battle-ax of the burly demon using my pinky finger. Afterward, I grab the huge battle-ax using my hand and shattered it with my grip strength.
The huge battle-ax was at least legendary rank but it shattered to pieces after I used only a small percent of my physical strength.
"What are you?!"
The burly demon yelled towards me in shock while he was still holding the handle of the huge battle-ax which was just a metal stick.
"Axel Everheart, the Goblin ANTI-HERO of Darkness!"
I declared my identity towards the burly demon and the rest of the beings in the human kingdom while emphasizing the anti-hero part.
I wasn't chivalrous and righteous but I was on the good side so I might as well call myself an anti-hero.
I had noticed that the burly demon that had swung its huge battle-ax towards my pinky finger was at supreme demon rank while the rest of the demons that have gathered was at least demon noble rank.
The demons that have conquered the human kingdom weren't that strong in hero terms but in normal human terms, they were already considered powerful.
Anyways, the demons present in the human kingdom were only an ant in my presence while the only somewhat decent demon was one archdemon that had concealed itself on one of the rooftops of a house.
There was only one demon at archdemon rank so I didn't have to worry about fighting against a powerful opponent. The only thing I had to worry about was the casualties that I would possibly cause since I would need to use a somewhat powerful magic skill to defeat the archdemon.
I noticed that the humans wearing royal clothes had the word hope plastered on their expressions as I had arrived to save the human adult.
The burly demon knew that he couldn't defeat me so he conjured demonic flames on his hand and threw them towards the humans wearing royal clothes.
"Oh no, you don't!"
I used my mana to create a mana shield to protect the humans from the burly demon's demonic flames attack.
"Didn't your owner told you that it's rude to attack bystanders during a battle? If your owner didn't tell you about that, then I will engrave it deep in your mind!"
I conjured pitch-black flames and formed the pitch-black flames into a small sphere. I then engraved the small pitch-black flame sphere into the head of the burly demon.
The small pitch-black flame sphere exploded while it was inside the head of the burly demon which caused the head of the burly demon to explode and it turned into ash.
The pitch-black flames even burned the ashes of the burly demon's head.
"When I said that I will engrave it deep in your mind, I meant it literally."
I said towards the headless burly demon as its body flopped on the ground.
"Now then... It looks like I have some cleaning work to do."
I muttered to myself in an audible voice as I glanced at the remaining demons.
The demons shivered in fear after what I had said to them as they already knew that they couldn't defeat me.
"Are you sure you want to work with the humans? Us demons can offer you better benefits than what the humans and other races can give! Be it wealth, fame, power! And even women! If you want, you can have this kingdom's princess as your sex slave as long as you turn a blind eye on us."
One of the demons among the crowd stepped out of the crowd and declared to me the benefits that he would give me if I joined the demon's side.
Well, I was planning to join the demons since the humans couldn't entertain me but the God Of Worldly Systems needed me to act as a hero for his plan to succeed.
Anyways, I was no longer interested in those so-called wealth, fame, and women since I already have those. Although the power part is tempting, the power that a demon could offer to me wouldn't rival a power given by a God.
"I am not interested. So, just die for me, will ya?"
I replied towards the demons while I conjured multiple swords made out of condensed materialized mana.
