Chapter 99: RPGlike Leveling Training In Monster's Abode (1)

Axel commanded the heroes including the heroes from his batch which was our seniors.
The heroes including me entered the forest that was behind the Holy Church.
We walked inside the forest in a straight path and if we encountered a tree that was blocking our path, Axel and the other heroes would cut it off.
There weren't any monsters that were within the forest but not until we entered a jungle that was filled with trees that were taller than the previous trees that we had encountered.
We had roamed the jungle that was filled with tall trees for almost a minute and then we had encountered a level 127 fire lion.
"We won't help you in defeating this monster and will only step in if you are in death's door. Since all of us are summoned heroes then we would have a cheat skill or two and not mention that I had asked your senior heroes to train you. You should be able to handle the fire lion easily. So, goodbye!"
After Axel had said that, he and his teammates disappeared into thin air.
The heroes from my batch were now on their own and were left to fight again the 2 meter tall and 3 meter wide fire lion.
The fire lion was much bigger than the largest lion back on Earth and its fur was dark orange-colored with patches of the color red.
The fire lion bared its fangs and let out a roar.
The fire lion lunges itself towards one of the heroes and it was the hero that had black-colored hair and a Japanese accent.
I had heard from the other heroes that his name was Satomi Fujikawa.
Satomi was only protecting himself from the jaws of the fire lion bare-handed.
The fire lion opened its mouth and tried to bite Satomi so Satomi forwarded his hands and attempted to hold the mouth of the fire lion.
But the reality was so cruel, the fire lion was stronger than Satomi in terms of strength so instead of Satomi holding the fire lion's mouth and preventing it from biting Satomi, as soon as Satomi held the fire lion's mouth it then bit Satomi's hand.
The fire lion tore Satomi's hand from his body and happily chewed it.
It was a gruesome sight to behold if we didn't know what Satomi's ability was.
Satomi's right hand which was severed from Satomi's right arm had grown another hand.
It was the ability of Satomi which was immortality.
"What are you waiting for!? I already allowed it to bit my arm of so that it would be distracted so don't waste the pain that I had experienced and kill that monster!"
Satomi yelled as he angrily looked at the fire lion.
Distere ran at fast speed and threw the knife he was wielding into the air to distract the fire lion.
Distere punched the fire lion's snout and caught his knife.
He stabbed the fire lion's left eye using his knife and then applied force to it which allowed his knife to penetrate the fire lion's head.
Distere pulled out his knife from the fire lion's head at a quick speed and blood flowed out of the fire lion's head.
"Tch! This monster's filthy blood managed to dirty my precious knife!"
That's what Distere was worried about?!
He's only angry with the fire lion just because his knife was covered with its blood.
"I'm glad that you killed the monster that ate my right hand but shouldn't you also get angry that it harmed your teammate?", Satomi asked Distere.
"Why should I? I only see you as an acquaintance and I only recognize Alex as my teammate due to him being a disciple of my master.", Distere blatantly replied.
Satomi and Distere argued for a while before they decided to reconcile.
"Rrraaawwwwrrrrrr!"
A lion's roar was heard behind the trees and fire lions went out of the bushes and trees.
"Aren't wolves the ones who make a pack? I know that lions also make a pack but isn't it rare to find a lion filled with the same gender especially if all of them were male!"
The blue-haired girl shouted as she saw the fire lions.
I had heard from Distere that the blue-haired girl was Grace Nitoirl.
"Who cares about that! We need to kill them and earn some experience points!"
The one who said that was a purple-haired boy.
I had also heard from Distere that the purple-haired boy was named Ferros Malum.
One of the fire lions charged at Ferros, opened its mouth, and spewed out a fireball from its mouth.
The fireball accelerated towards Ferros but was dissipated by him using his finger which was coated with mana.
He must have used one of his cheat skills.
The fire lion bared its fangs and lunged itself towards Ferros.
Before it could bite Ferros, Ferros points his finger towards the fire lion and touched its head using his finger which was again, coated with mana.
"Destructive Finger!"
The fire lion burst from within like a balloon popping because of too much air.
The parts of the body of the fire lion scattered throughout the ground and its organs and blood were splattered across the ground.
It was such a grotesque scene to behold. The severed parts of the fire lion and its blood and organs were like distorted artwork that was painted on the green grass.
"That's what you get for messing with this Lord Of Destruction! None shall get out alive! Muahahahaha!"
Ferros shouted as he laughed like a villain.
I forgot that Distere had told me that Ferros was a chuuni.
As Ferros laughed, the other fire lions looked at the demise of their comrade and had decided to retreat.
"Oh no, you don't! Taste the fury of my blades!"
I materialized swords that were made out of mana and manipulated them to stab and slay the remaining fire lions.
Only 1 of the fire lions had managed to escape but it wasn't that much of a big deal to me since I had obtained an abundant amount of experience points due to [The Hero] passive skill.
The heroes and I continued to go deeper into the forest while I had noticed that Axel and his teammates were protecting us from the shadows.
