Within the clouds above hovering were three individuals, there they were observing all that occurred...

" How can a child wield heaven's tribulation, can that even be possible?"

If Taf were to hear the voice that spoke, he would recognize it as the elder who questioned him within the gathering. Try as he may he couldn't have seen her face but here she was a beauty whose hair was as fiery as Malgrey.

" That is indeed a strange sight that just occurred...."

Her sentiments seemingly were agreed to by an old man that by any description of the word midget, was smaller than the norm. He could be no taller than 4 ft in height.

" This child frightens me, not just because of his ability but something just as impressive...."

The last of the three then spoke, this was the old woman who had been in the room with the father and his ailing daughter. Her words apparently had significant weight as the two who joined her seemingly hanged to her every word.

" Haha, I'll have to test my theory when we have met, for now, Denaria keep your eyes on both him and the girl.

As for you old Norton, I can't put my fingers on it but I have a premonition that there is something ominous on its way. Keep your eyes and ears on the ground, if something seems amidst report to me at once.."

She then looked away from Taf's courtyard into the distance where only darkness could be seen as her thoughts lingered off.

" As you wish, Grand elder.."

They both spoke before vanishing as if they never were. As they vanished the Grand Elder's eyes once again looked to the courtyard...

"sigh, Are you a blessing or the foreboding of our demise.."

????????

Within the space stone were two teens, one male with dark dreads and the other a female whose hair was that of silver. There they sat within an open space, Taf with his eyes closed and May curiously gazing on.

As Taf eyes were closed he was in contemplation of the events that had previously unfolded.

He scanned his body internally for anomalies that might explain the phenomenon's occurrence. He then took a closer look within his dantian.

" Maybe the best place to seek answers would be the source of my inherent art, which leads me to my demon/beast qi."

Soon his vision shifted to a fog of red qi that continuously replenished his growing dantian. As he entered the qi going further and further within, he saw once more the red and gold parchment.

Taf then took a moment to scrutinize its content. As he did something strange did catch his eye.

There similar to a calf being branded was a black lightning bolt seemingly burnt within its fibres.

" Well, that wasn't there before, I am certain of it...."

He then rubbed his chin as he tried to come to terms with understanding what it all meant. Soon his eyes opened seeing a patiently waiting May.

" Let's brainstorm for abit.."

He uttered to May who of course would have it no better way...

" Sure where should we start from..?"

She asked trying to be of as much help as she possibly could...

' Hmmm, that's a good question, let's start at when the inherent art was first discovered. When I first received the art within its contents it was stated that whatever this world contains is for the taking.

I have to admit I liked how it sounded at the time however it did seem quite vague..."

Taf then started off the brainstorming somewhat with some slight insights...

" Whatever you like huh, well it seems not only can you absorb the art of others and then redirect them, but also have it as an addition to your own arsenal."

A response was then given by May who assessed all the information given then replied with something she thought fruitful.

" I don't think it's that simple actually as there is a seeming flaw in your theory. If you can recall I initially tried the inherent art against Hammerhead..?"

As Taf spoke May did start recalling the events that had unfolded during the battle.

" You're saying that Hammerhead's attack too would have been imprinted within. Well, that's interesting, then the question now being asked is why is one attack added and the other totally discarded, right?" She responded by saying.

" This is indeed the question that is being asked." Taf replied before going silent lost in his thoughts.

" In hindsight when looking back there are two differences between each of the attacks. Firstly one was an attack from an inherent art and the other an attack that can be seen as natural forming, in the heaven's tribulation."

While Taf's paused May thought it best to highlight some differences.

" This is true as the art might be limited to attacks from nature and inherent arts are the opposite of this. It also could be due to the class of each of the attacks.

What if it is a case that only a certain caliber of attacks are regarded as efficient?" Taf admittedly agreed to the points brought forward by May before adding one of his own.

" Well, I guess in time we will find out just the extent of its ability. Since that has ended I think someone promised me a sparing session."

May then arose to her feet before distancing herself away from Taf as a smile could be seen on her face...

" I see lady May is so confident in her abilities she even challenges the master., now this I like.."

Taf too took to his feet while chuckling a bit...

" The days of you holding back when we spare ends today Sir. So are you going defeat me through your spouting or are we going to battle?"

May smirked as she summoned a golden bow within her hands...

?Elemental Art ( Air) Eye of an Eagle?

Her pupils began to glow before an arrow formed of ice slowly took shape within her right hand. She then distanced herself a bit once more from Taf before nocking her bow...

SWISH!! SWISH!!

One after the other arrows made of ice were fired at Taf from the distance, Seeing this he then started off into a sprint predicting the trajectory of each arrow.

This he knew was a gamble as at any moment May could change the movements. However, it was a gamble he had to take as he was somewhat limited with long-range attacks.

Soon his fears were realized after dodging two arrows each aimed at a leg, he then saw them both changing direction heading for his back...

Sigh...

?Elemental Art ( Darkness) Quintessence of the shadows?

Soon he became shrouded in darkness before slowing disappearing from where he had initially been which caused the arrows to miss their targets...

Seeing this May had a smirk on her face as if all was going as she expected...

" I know you far too well..."

As she spoke a third arrow approach from above over the disappearing Taf...

BOOM!!!!

It exploded into a blast of light. This seemingly had a negative reaction to the darkness as Taf figure which was visibly disappearing seized. Soon his body was left exposed in the open...

" Now is my chance.."

May uttered as in a flash she was before the stunned Taf. This was an art that has never once failed when he sought to retreat.

?Elemental Art ( Water) Frost Arms?

While she approached Taf her arm visible became white as snow emitting cold freezing air. There readying to launch a series of punches was May...
