Upon hearing this, Ye Mo body turned into a shadow as he rushed forward.

“Brother Chu Nan, the giant corpse can’t hold on for long. Let us kill it with all our powers combined. A corpse of this size must have corpse essence inside its body. If we hand it to the Martial Training Hall, it can definitely be exchange for plenty of league points,” said the league member who was the weakest among them.

“Let’s do it together!” shouted the league member named Chu Nan. As the three of them made their move, a rich amount of energy poured out, forming into a majestic giant energy blade. This giant energy blade was formed by gathering the energy displayed by all three of them and was frighteningly powerful.

The giant energy sword dissipated in an instant, forming into countless number of sword auras that hovered above the giant corpse.

“Kill!”

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Countless sword auras gave out a glow as they all flew in the air down towards the giant corpse.

The corpse, seemingly still possessing spiritual intelligence, took multiple steps back in retreat upon seeing the countless number of swords flying towards him, fear flashing across his eyes.

Just as the giant corpse was about to be cut into pieces by the swords, a dark shadow appeared in front of it and blocked off all the attacks. With a burst of light from his spear, Ye Mo’s surrounding was instantly filled with countless number of ice-blue light blades.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

The light blades caused energy to scatter in all directions as they collided with the sword auras, with even the air starting to tremble as multiple huge explosions were heard.

The Wushuang League was also shocked upon witnessing what happened. As the collision cleared, the three of them appeared surprised as they looked at Ye Mo.

“A Qingyun League member?”

Chu Nan let out a surprised noise before asking with a face of caution, “Why did you prevent us from killing the corpse? Don’t tell me you want to steal our corpse essence?”

Chu Nan looked at the man before him with trepidation. His aura was obviously not that strong, but he was somehow able to block the sword auras generated by all three of them together.

“I have no interest in corpse essences. Don’t tell me neither of you have realized that this giant corpse is different from the normal corpses in the Skyburn Mountain Range?” asked Ye Mo.

“You’re saying that this corpse came from the Skyburn Tomb?”

Chu Nan was shocked by Ye Mo’s words. He said, “Legend has it that corpses from the Skyburn Tomb were all highly skilled people who were buried together with Saint Skyburn, with their spirits still burning inside their bodies.”

“Indeed. This giant corpse may be able to bring us to the Skyburn Tomb!” said Ye Mo.

“The corpse ran away!”

Surprised, Ye Mo turned around to see that the giant corpse had got quite far while he was talking to Chu Nan.

“Thinking of escaping? Not so easy!”

The roads in the Skyburn Mountain Range were rugged. One could step into a swamp any time. Thankfully, Ye Mo could step on air. He chased after the giant corpse one step at a time.

“Are my eyes deceiving me? That guy can actually fly?” Chu Nan exclaimed, surprised at what he was seeing.

“That’s not flying – he is stepping on air!” another member said.

Ye Mo stepped high in the air, the Sky Blood Spear in his hand pointed forward as a light blade shot up, piercing through the air, directly blocking the path of the giant corpse.

Boom!

A frightening scream ensured, causing the giant mountain range ahead to start trembling.

A giant, towering monster reduced to bare bones rushed forward. The giant monster was more than 30 feet tall. With a single step, it crushed the giant corpse to death without even noticing it as it charged towards Ye Mo’s direction.

“It’s the Bone Dragon!”

Ling’er shouted, “This is the real Bone Dragon. Dragons are the King amongst Monsters. This dragon may be the lowest tier of the Red Dragons, but it was in the True Energy Realm in terms of strength when it was alive. Now that it’s dead, it is still at least in the Energy Shaping Sixth or Seventh Realm.”

“Run!”

Ye Mo immediately ran in the opposite direction, hiding in a corner of the mountain range.

Following that, three shadows rushed forward, dropping down from the sky with weapons generated by energy all in their hands. The three of them were extremely quick in terms of speed, instantaneously blocking the path of the Bone Dragon.

“Xie Xiu, who would’ve thought that you would find such a big one? Let’s kill it and retrieve the dragon spine – it will make for a spirit weapon of high quality. A spirit weapon imbued with the spiritual intelligence of a Red Dragon!” said one of the youngsters clad in purple.

“With the combined powers of the elite Inner League members of the three major sub-leagues, we will definitely be able to slaughter this Bone Dragon. When we do, we shall split the dragon spine equally among the three of us,” said Xie Xiu.

The three of them were the top Inner League members from the Ling Xuan League, Xuan Ji League, and Jin Xiu League, their power levels all comparable to the Energy Shaping Seventh Realm.

Attack!

The three Energy Shaping Sixth Realm fighters, floating high in the air, repeatedly attacked at the giant Bone Dragon, every strike extremely ruthless, causing the Bone Dragon to scream continuously in pain. Xie Xiu’s Blood Aura technique, in particular, was extremely scary. Xie Xiu attacked with Asura’s Wrath, breaking multiple bones in the Bone Dragon’s body.

Seeing what was before him, Ye Mo was completely stunned. This was the true power of an Energy Shaping Sixth Realm fighter. Taking advantage of their high ground in the air, they almost attacked the Bone Dragon into retreat. Its aura became weaker and weaker.

Detecting that the Bone Dragon no longer had any power to retaliate, Xie Xiu shouted with a calm look on his face. “Final attack, Bloodstalker Palm!”

Blood-colored Energy spiralled out from his palm as a Blood Door manifested behind him, carrying an evil aura, twisting the air. Inside the Blood Door, a giant Bloodstalker Palm reached out like an evil claw. As the sky was enshrouded by lightning and thunder, a harrowing aura could be felt as the claw directly attacked the Bone Dragon!

Bam!

With a single strike, the mountain range in the surrounding all exploded. The giant Bone Dragon was not swatted away but disintegrated entirely, with all of its bones shattered with the exception of its enormous spine. The broken pieces dropped down, with enough pieces to form a mountain of bones.

A single move from Xie Xiu’s Bloodstalker Palm was enough to kill the Bone Dragon. It looked almost completely effortless.

“Haha, Brother Xie Xiu, this devil-slaughtering power of your Bloodstalker Palm… if not for the limitations of this technique, I guess you would have made the breakthrough to the Energy Shaping Seventh Realm and been promoted to an Elite League Member already,” said league member Luo Tianhe, an Energy Shaping Sixth Realm fighter from the Ling Xuan league, as he smiled.

Suddenly, a bird-like roar could be heard in the air, and following that, a giant black shadow appeared in the air.

That shadow was actually a giant wicked beast – the Tiger Cloud Sparrow. The monster had the brain of a Flying Tiger and the body of a sparrow. It was an Energy Shaping Realm monster with power levels in the Sixth Realm.

On top of the Tiger Cloud Sparrow stood two people, one of them bring the man Ye Mo wanted to kill even in his sleep – Ye Changsheng. The other was a lady with an enchanting figure and the looks of an absolute beauty. Donning a pink attire, she had an aura of superiority surrounding her, as if everyone in front of her were lower beings.

She stood there quietly, allowing Ye Changsheng to wrap his arms around her waist as she looked at him with an expression of gentleness.

“That woman is also a Beast-Taming Seal Artist!”
