The door closes mercilessly.

In front of me stands Clark-sama who just got out of the shower. Then there’s me who failed to escape. And from the next room, the voices of Lyle and Prince Louis fighting.

“Ah, uh …”

I didn’t know what to do, so I stuttered a little bit, but I couldn’t find what words to say.

Clark beckons while smiling at me.

“Letty.”

As I sat in the chair provided in the room, Clark-sama, who was also sitting in the opposite chair, spoke to me.

“What did Nadir say?”

 Nadir is my brother.

“Nothing……”

“Really.”

“Well … I heard about some stuff.”

“Like what?”

Clark says with a gentle smile. I suddenly remember what I asked my older brother a while ago.

“That, the things that have been happening lately were part of a plan …”

“That’s right.”

 He confessed so easily.

“I have to apologize to you.”

I was surprised at what Clark-sama said and stared at his eyes.

“Apologize?”

“Yes. I deprived you of your freedom and made it impossible for you to show your true self.”

 Clark-sama has a gloomy face.

“But that’s what you have to do when you become someone’s fiancée, and it’s not Clark’s fault …”

“Yes, that’s right, but that’s because I said I like you.”

Certainly Clark-sama liked me so I became his fiancée. After that, I had to undergo a strict princess education, changing my life.

“Still, I had to get engaged at that time. At that time, I had a lot of marriage proposals, and you were the Duke’s daughter. It was not surprising that I had already decided who to marry. I thought I’d be robbed if I didn’t hurry.”

Aristocratic engagement is early. The sooner you get engaged, the stronger your engagement.

“I was bewildered by you who only gave me fake smiles day by day. I was wondering what to do, but I couldn’t think of anything, and our wedding is slowly coming up, so I was in a hurry.”

 Clark turns his face down.

“Your brother is ambitious. I’m sure you want me to marry you, and I know you very well. So, I talked about it with your brother.”

 Clark-sama doesn’t look up.

“How can I take off the mask of Leticia? What should I do to make you recognize me?”

“Is that to bring that fake lover?”

“That’s it.”

Clark-sama is talking while standing down.

“If you find out that I have a lover, you’ll be happy to tell me to break the engagement. Nadir’s plan was that you would take off your mask without having to be engaged to the prince.”

How far can my brother read human behavior? My brother is scary.

“Why did you have me locked up?”

“It was the best idea I could come up with because you’d run away with all your might. I was given permission by the Duke.”

The more I listen, the more it is in my brother’s palm.

“I was told that I could do it with my hands, but I couldn’t.”

“I would like to thank you for that.”

I’m glad you didn’t touch me.

“Of course. If I do that, I won’t get you forever.”

 He finally raised his face.

“Ummm.”

I speak while staring at Clark.

“I don’t really understand love or any romantic affection.”

“Yup.”

“That’s why I think it will take a long time.”

“Yup.”

“And I can’t give up my longing for freedom.”

“Yup.”

“Maybe I’ll run away in a moment.”

“Yup.”

 Clark laughs softly.

“I’ll wait indefinitely. When we get married, you have to do public affairs, but other than that, you can travel freely and do whatever you want. You can to run away … but can I still chase you?”

Clark-sama stares at me. I made up my mind.

“Yes.”

 Clark opened his eyes astonishingly.

“Is it okay?”

“Yes.”

Look at them blushing..so cute

I decided to hold Clark’s hand on the table.

“Even if I don’t marry Clark-sama, I have to marry someone else. In that case, I think I’d rather marry Clark-sama. To be honest, your face and voice are my type. Also, you’re pushy, but I don’t hate sweet things like that.”

 I made up my mind.

I still don’t know if it’s love. For now, I’ll believe in this person who’d wait for me.

Clark-sama opens his eyes and gradually gave me a broad smile.

It resembled a boy’s face in a faint memory of my childhood.
