As time went by inside the two rooms were two youngsters cultivating. Ki seemed endless around Liang Meng while on the other room the figure inside was consuming all kinds of pills.

This was the reason why Liang Chen didn't teach him anything. Because he didn't even try to understand what he wanted them to understand and he also didn't even bother to ask either so he let him be.

He did say he would give the two the same opportunities the boy just didn't cherish it.

Liang Chen wasn't cultivating nor was he at the doors waiting. It had been almost 4 years since the starting of their seclusion so he was preparing their training for the next 4 years while the remmaing 2 years he would come up with something.

*Kacha*

The two doors opened by themselves but none of the two came out since Liang Chen wasn't there. Each wanted Liang Chen to see their result but for different reasons. While Liang Meng wanted to see the result of the cultivation technique the Wu Xiu simply wanted things to go smooth for the next years to get this old man to submit, of course that was wishful thinking.

A few hours later Liang Chen returned and the two left the rooms.

As soon as he saw them leaving he greeted them with a smile and a nod, and indicated for them to follow him.

"We haven't seen each other for four years and the two of you have made great improvements in your cultivation."

"Thank you master im honored for the compliment." said Wu Xiu. As he thought in his mind 'Hmph. How dare you imprison me for four years in a room I had to use almost everything father had given me to cultivate. This young master will remember this grievance he has suffered.'

"So for the next two months I will teach you the spear and after that for another four years you are to go and adventure outside."

"What? Another 4 years?" Wu Xiu thought out loud.

"Yes is that a problem?"

"No, not at all master."

As Liang Chen looked at Liang Meng his heart ached again and this time the pain was worse than before even though he didn't know why he could guess that she didn't find the fault herself or perhaps it got worse but he was still hesitant to say it out loud, after all not only was that thing always better to be found by oneself so that it doesn't become a weakness even though that was a chance it was still a chance. So he could only allow his disciple to find it out herself and suffer silently while hoping that she found about it sooner rather than latter.

"So to prove to me that the two of you are ready to go outside I brought a few beast for you to battle. They take a long time to cultivate but have a really sturdy foundation and dense Ki. I really don't know what they are called and don't really care I just call them Slowpokes if they have a low cultivation and SilverHeas if they have high cultivation since they have a silver colored head."

For two entire months he gave them lectures and awsered questions about spear and cultivation mostly to Wu Xiu since Liang Meng knew more about cultivation than him. She only asked questions abou the spear and nothing else.

As soon as those two months were up he lead them to the training room at the back of the palace.

As they followed him they saw two beasts surrounded by Spear Ki. They had a silver colored head while the rest of their body was brown, they had a face that seemed to be from a ferocious demon dog and scales in their eyes. Their torso resembled that of a qilin but it also resembled that of a really fat dog. Liang Meng knew they were called Dog Qilin, and their cultivation was dense but that was down here. The world she came from such beast were only fit to be eaten by low ranked cultivators.

Liang Chen got in front of one and put her hand on her waits only to realize she had no sword.

"Use this spear." said Liang Chen.

Liang Meng nodded and prepared herself. As soon as the beast was released she used a technique she had created on her past life it was called "Sword Rain" but now she changed it to "Spear Rain".

Countless spears rained down on the beast followed by a small talisman formed by hand signs it was a basic ranked one simply called "Flame Weapon" it just enchanced the power a of a weapon with the power of fire for a small duration but in this case all those countless spears transformed into flaming spears.

The beast howled in pain and charged at Liang Chen madly only to receive another technique called "Throwback" while she used previously with a sword and made a formation on the tip of the sword and the target was repelled back she now used her spear to bash at the enemy and a small and indistinct formation appeared on the place the beast was bashed and it was thrown back only to receive a pierce into the heart.

On Wu Xiu's side he activated talismans around the beast and used a small spear to redirect the attacks the attacks from the talisman towrds the beast in a frenzy the beast broke through th encirclement of talismans and attacked directly at him. He blocked with his spear but was thrown back. Then he put all his strength into his spear and stabbed towards the beast at the same time he threw paralyzing powder towards the beast which made it paralyzed for a short while but it was enough to stab the center of its head and kill it.

Liang Chen didn't comment but was angry that the two werent using the style of a true spearman. But he knew everyone had its fighting style. He didn't say anything becahse he understood that his disciple was still relaying on her previous fighting style and he wanted her to realize the problem himself since he understood now what the problem was previously.

"Very good the two of you are ready to head out. I want to hear good news about your training in four years."
