Qai who quickly arrived at the scene and instantly released two arrows infused with lightning while rushing.

'Swooosh,' 'swooosh.'

'Baaam,' 'baaam.'

The arrows directly hit the right leg and left rib of the bandit which immediately numbed his body. At first he didn't know what hit him until he figured out two things—first, Shu Wu, his opponent wasn't the archer and secondly, his two other companions must already be dead.

Shu Wu, for his part, realized the situation upon seeing the familiar arrow hits and thereafter activated his 'Sludge' skill which quickly gulped the bandits legs up trapping him all the more.

'Wabooom.'

Qai instructed Shandian to make his move when he noticed the bandit to be confined by both the lightning and Shu Wu's sage grade skill.

'Roooaaaaar.'

Shandian's 'Lightning Claws' wasn't much to the bandit but then Qai followed it up with his 'Thunder Fists.'

The bandit was surprised to see the black tiger and Qai appeared all of sudden.

Thud,' 'thud,' 'thud,' 'thud,' 'thud,' thud.'

However, the initial Sky stage Sage realm bandit was not bothered by the successive attacks—he was more concerned how to quickly get out of the 'Sludge' skill.

Shu Wu, realizing that the bandit was waiting for an opportunity, hastily charged with his 'Sword Slash.'

'Swaaaaaash.'

"Ahh."

This time, the bandit was hurt—although he was released from the 'Sludge' skill at the same time.

He finally found an opportunity to retaliate and was about to attack when he got hit again by successive arrows.

'Swooosh,' 'swooosh,' 'swooosh.'

'Baaam,' 'baaam,' baaam.'

Once again the bandit was slightly stunned by the arrows. But what he wasn't expecting was the incoming attack.

All of a sudden a small but dark thunderstorm formation above him started to speedily evolved from the clouds. Then a powerful lightning strike was discharged from the clouds rushing its way to the bandit.

'Kagggzzzggzzzt.'

It was Shandian's sage level skill called 'Thunderbolt' which looked like a brilliant electric spark discharge in the atmosphere.

The bandit was not only stunned but looked like crisply burned from the skin to his bones—but to ascertain his death, Shu Wu dealt another powerful 'Sword Slash' slicing through the neck which, this time, cut the bandit's head.

**************

As always, Qai collected all the spatial rings belonging to the bandit's dead bodies.

But while he was doing that, several villagers approached Qai and Shu Wu—many of whom were mortals.

Children who escaped the wrath of the bandits started to come out of their huts and rushed over the black tiger. Many of them witnessed the battle and was in disbelief at the strength of the Shu brothers who appeared in their youth.

"I am an elder from 'The Hunters' Plateau' and this is my youngest brother and his contracted beast," Shu Wu said as he introduced his group.

"Thank you for saving us..," an old man said in reply with teary eyes. "We have nothing to pay for your kindness."

"That's not too much of a problem."

It was Qai who answered.

Qai then picked three rings from his hand which actually belonged to the three sage bandits then handed over the rest of the spatial rings to the person who appeared to be an elder of the village.

"Take them..," Qai politely said, "..and make use of what's inside to help the village recover what it lost."

"Ah."

The villagers were surprised by the gesture shown by Qai. He obviously understood the present needs of the villagers.

Evidently, the huts that were burned down were beyond rescue—and that explained why he generously gifted the spatial rings. Besides, Qai felt that the rings belonging to the sage bandits contained much valuable items.

"This.. isn't this a bit too much!?" The old man said.

"Most of them probably belonged to you..," Shu Wu replied.

The villagers understood what Shu Wu meant, but they were still very thankful for the kindness showed to them.

"Besides..," Qai followed suit, "..some of these kids might awaken their elemental affinity someday and enter the cultivation world.. there are plenty of resources in those rings.. help them raise their level to protect your village.."

What Qai handed over contained more than enough to help the village—it had not only what the bandits stole from their village but also other valuables that the bandits must have ransacked from other places or things that personally belonged to them.

Shu Wu informed the villagers about the Han Valley's plan to exterminate the bandits and told them to let their cultivators participate—even if many of them were in the Expert realms; as such event was in the first place for the benefit of them as well.

After all the work was done, Shu Wu and Qai together with Shandian proceeded to pick up their War Horses and rode their way to the Moon Village.
