She had completed forty-four hardest magic cubes still they are not yet on their destination. It's getting dark and she's getting bored and numb on her seat. She sighed for the tenth times.
"Getting bored?" He asked.
"Already, bored. Can you drive faster? Make it 90km per hour."
"No that is too fast." He glanced at her in the rear mirror.
"Just do what I say." She insisted. He shakes his head mockingly.
"I won't let us get kill." He said.
"You gotta be kidding me." She murmurs. He smiled playfully glancing at her. "Stop the car."
He stopped the car in the middle of the empty highway. She clasped her seat-belt and opened the car. "What are you doing?" She walk towards the driver door and opened it. She removed his seat belt and grabbed him out. "Gia..." She ignored him and pushed him, pulling him and pushed him inside the back seat.
"Shut up." and she slammed the door. He was quizzical and he doesn't know what's going on. When she enters the driver seat, he automatically moves closer to her.
"You are just 17. You don't have a license yet!" He said panicking. She stepped on the gas and it makes Edmond move back on the seat.
"Of course, I have." She said grinning. "I have a student's license, and let me remind you, I graduated in Oxford and I know such things about laws and everything you might don't know, so buckle up!" She winks from the rear mirror. "Right, Prince?" She glanced at Prince whose tongue is hanging. Prince barks as a response. "See? He knows everything about me."
"So what else does he know that I don't?" He asked still staring at her in the rear mirror. She accelerated the car and he buckled his seat belt. She shrugged.
"I don't know. What do you know about me?" She asked. He didn't speak for a while.
"Ah," he tried to look for his words. He knows a lot about her that Victoria, her sister told, also from her mother and father. "Uhm, just a few." He said.
"How few?" She steer the wheel and turned right that make him move to his left. She is focusing on the road.
"Just drive please." He said.
"I am your principal so you don't have a right to tell me that."
He just shrugged and cocked his head on left. He looked the entire magic cubes beside him and picked one studying it. It is all made of glass and the colors are like 3D or more like 3D.
"I designed that myself." She said.
"Impressive."
"I know. They shuffle all by themselves."
Let me try this thing maybe it'll decrease my pressure from her stubbornness. The magic cub shuffles very fast in his palm, then it all stopped and he started puzzling it but it didn't stop from shuffling whenever he stopped.
"Go on, try to do it." She said playfully.
"And if I'll make it?" He grins. She shrugged.
PNP checkpoint. 1 km away. The computer said. She stops the car and unbuckles her seat belt. She crawled to the backseat and she pulled the magic cube from him and he looked at her.
"Change seats." She said. He pulled her to him that she almost collides with his lips. "Be careful on pulling me next time." She said tapping his cheek and sat beside him. "Go on." She shooed him. It takes seconds before it register in his head.
You just had to kiss me. He thought. And I'll be your Prince.
He crawled to the driver seat and drives it. She put the magic cube on the case beside him. "If you pass my cubes you can have your price."
"Anything?" He asked playfully.
"No, everything had a limitation."
"Okay." He said. "But I'll just make it simple for you."
"Yah, after you do it." She said smirking.
He grinned and just drove the car. He stopped the car when the PNP had signaled the car. The police in patrol knocked on the wind shield and it slide down. Edmond turned on the lights inside the car and the police scanned them. Gia slide down the wind shield and the officer peek inside.
"Miss James." He greets.
"Good evening officer, what's going on?" She asked innocently.
"Well, we are checking if there's transportation of endangered wolf. We had detected an illegal transportation to Tagaytay."
She furrows a little by hearing it. She nods at the officer.
"I hope you will catch them sooner." She said.
"We are working on it Miss. Please drive safety Mister." He said to Edmond. Edmond nods and scroll up the wind shield. He give a triple honks to the police and he drive it. He glanced at her in the rear mirror. She seemed frustrated and very much worried.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
She nods as a response; still her chin is resting on her knuckles while her elbow is resting on her lower arm. When they arrived in the Resort the staffs had meet them getting their bags with the robots and the man in suit and tie meets them.
"Miss Gia," he bowed at her.
"Rey, is our dinner settled?" She asked while she is walking with Prince and Edmond and the man is following her.
"Yes, Miss. We had also prepared your request." He said.
"Good, I'll check my cars by tomorrow."
"Yes, Miss. Is there anything you like to wish for?"
"My Prince's dinner?" She stopped and faced him. He looked at Prince's who's looking up at him.
"Already Miss."
She turns back from him and Rey lead them to the dining hall. Edmond pulls the chair for her and she sat gracefully. He walked around the table in front of her and the waitresses had served their soup, also a soup for Prince who is down beside her.
"Bon appetite." he said. She nods. They started their appetizer. "You seemed quite after what you had heard lately."
"It's very disturbing in my mind, Wilford." She said.
He prefers not to ask anything for her to concentrate on their dinner and to relax her mind. But she, calling him by his fake family name is odd. Everyone on their kingdom called her Prince Edmond. After their dinner he walked with her to her room.
"Just beep me if you need something."
"Sure..." she said and she looked around the room. She looked around the room and he closes the door.
He was just about to go to shower and he had already removed his shirt when someone knocked on the door. He opened it and she appeared in front of him.
"My heater is not working, I need to use yours." she said directly to his eyes not even bothering that he's half naked. He opened the door for her and gestured her to get in. "Thank you." she said politely.
"You're welcome, Milady." she went directly to the bathroom and Prince runs to Edmond's bed and then he heard the shower working.
"She's not attracted on me, isn't she?" he asked the dog in low voice. The dog barks two times which means NO. His phone rings and his father is calling so he immediately answers it. "Father?"
"How are you there, son?" he walked towards the balcony and leans on the rail.
"I am perfectly great, dad." he said grinning.
"Good because my time is running and we need you here."
"Dad, I still need time and I want you to stay healthy. Please tell me that you are drinking your medicine and you are not complaining anything from your doctor."
"Don't worry I am in a good condition but I really need you to go back here ASAP with or without her."
I want her and I need her, father. He wanted to tell him. If I can only turn back from my future and be with her in her every adventure. But my father is important to me as well as my countrymen. She is also important to me and I wanted her to be with me.
"Edmond?" his father interrupted him from his thought. "I know it's hard for you to choose but I need you to be practical and think about your duties. Your people are relying on you."

"She's taking her piano lessons, and about that she had a little concert on our Independence Day."
